Microtel Inn & Suites Bath

For a lessor expensive motel, we were happy. The room was very clean. Coffee was ready early in the morning which we needed. There was bagels, cereal and fruit there as well. Good parking, well lit. Fast food within walking distance. If you are traveling and stopping to sleep, this is a good choice

Hotel allows dogs. Could they be put in one particular hallway as they are loud and we could hear barking through walls. Also, they offer a free breakfast but they do not refill half of the food options during the breakfast hours.

Cleanliness wasn’t there and breakfast so very poor please never opt for breakfast rather go to nearby Dunkin’s or Starbucks. Rooms are very small and carpet is dirty. Their manager is good,their business center is junk, that computer has 1900 operating system.

Staff was great, very helpful. Only real downfall was that the soda and snack machines would not take cash or cards.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Microtel. The room was very nice and I loved the raised sink and bar area in the "living room" area. We have stayed at other Microtels in the past and our golden retriever has always loved lying on the window seat so I was thrilled to see that this room had one as well. I really appreciate being able to open the windows instead of using the air conditioning. We appreciated the toiletries in the shower and bathroom. The staff was very nice (except for 1 little incident with the man who checked us in, he told me that my card hadn't gone through and argued with me when I told him that I had proof on my bank statement. Clearly he was wrong because he handed me the keys anyways). The breakfast options were very nice, hubby really enjoyed the french toast and Ilike the egg and sausage croissant and we even gave our pup one of the omelets. There truly were so many great options offered and the breakfast area was always neat and clean and well stocked. I love that there was an area for us to take our pup to use the bathroom and also that there were so many restaurant options all around us that we could even walk to. Our room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the extra blanket in the closet. Microtel has become our very favorite place to stay and we are already looking forward to returning in the fall. Highly recommend this place.

Easy on and off highway. Easy parking. Conveniently located. Good price. Two employees (man and woman) were arguing when we went to complimentary breakfast. Awkward for all who heard and left one employee to do everything. Luckily she was good and efficient. You are lucky to have her.

Smell and items like the ice machine weren’t in working order.

Ice maker on floor 3 was making a loud constant noise, desk allowed us to move to a quieter location.

This dog-friendly hotel was perfect for our "family". The breakfast buffet has many good choices to get your day started. Check in was extremely easy. The only small negatives were that the sheets weren't very soft and you had to go to the lobby for a microwave.

Room was clean, and I can appreciate a pets-allowed policy for those that need it, but the room not-so-faintly smelled like a wet dog. And, although this isn't the property's fault, there was a strong marijuana smell pretty much everywhere. Take that with a grain of salt - recreational use is illegal in our home state so I'm not used to smelling skunk everywhere. Breakfast was decent. Overall, we stayed because the price fit our needs. We stayed just 11 hours - shower and sleep - on our way somewhere else.

We didnt even stay there ir was so bad. Still charged for the room, even though we were given an uncleaned room and told they didnt have anymore.

The bed frame was broken and unusable. They put us in a second room and there was pet hair on the floor and window seat. The staff was very nice and accommodating, but the facility was just not good. I don't like to complain, but I rely on reviews when I book a hotel and I would want to know this.

The hotel is clean, quiet, safe, and warm. I have stayed here many times and always enjoyed my stay.

Drains in the sink and tub needed to be cleaned. We cleaned it ourselves. I’d include a picture but it’s pretty gross.

Staff was very unprofesional. The breakfast bar was very filthy and when my aunt asked the staff member if there was any juice available, the manager on duty named " Julie " was standing beside the other staff member and said "What the f*** is wrong with her". Once we had requested to speak to a manager, Julie\'s entire attitude changed as she realized how distasteful and disrespectful her behavior was and tried to make herself look better by explaining why they were short of drinks! Also, the state of our hotel rooms cleanliness was unnacceptable. The bed sheets and pillow covers had stains all over and there were multiple pubic hairs surrounding the bath tub and toilet. For the ridiculously expensive price that was paid, I was expecting a pleasant experience from this hotel and instead was left utterly disappointed. If I would have known that the room would be in this condition and that the staff would approach me and my family in an unprofessional manner, I would have never considered staying in this establishment in the first place.

When I opened the door to the room, it smelled like smoke. There was feces still in the toilet, a dirty bar of soap in the shower, and leftovers left in the mini fridge.

the staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful. I think they gave me the smallest room I've ever stayed in. there was enough room to turn around in. good thing I was alone. I wasn't very pleased with the cleaning department. I stayed from sunday to sat. and they came in 2 times. 1 time I had to ask them to. they had already marked my room as done but it hadn't been. no making bed, no vaccuming, no toilet paper, no thorough cleaning of bathroom. and room had a very musty smell.

Took 10 minutes before anyone noticed we arrived. Got checked into the room there was a used tissue in bathroom and the toilet seat was not cleaned. We left but no one was available to complain ended up leaving without sleeping in room. Met friends afterwards drove 4 hours home rather than sleep in room.

The Room was no noisy.. water flow was heard in the room and basically the people who are walking above or people who are walking the hallway noises was heard inside the room. The Shampoo conditioner was pretty empty. The breakfast was not having bread. Apples was rotten Basically no one want to care about all these.

The room, including the towels, stank of cigarettes and a dog barked in the next room all night. The phone didn't work and we kept having to go down to the desk about it. The thermostat was broken too.

The room was clean but small.

Our request for the third floor was granted. We could see our vehicle from the room. Mini fridge was extremely noisy. Only one hand and bath towel.

I appreciate a dog friendly property but the dog staying with his people in the next room barked all night

My wife and I stayed here for six nights, and chose the suite for a little extra room. The staff was very friendly. The property is in good condition overall; just a few “frays” at the edges. Our room was quite nice, with a beautiful window seat/book nook overlooking I-86 and the mountains and downtown. The hotel was a little noisy. Loud TVs in nearby rooms, for example. But not impossible. Not enough to complain. We found a few uncleaned hairs on the bathroom floor behind the door when we first checked in, but since I’ve done cleaning, I know it can be tough to remember to check back there. The desk seat had some odd stains on it, but we weren’t in the room enough to use it, so I never bothered to ask for a replacement. The staff did a great job keeping us supplied with towels and changing our sheets and making our bed for us halfway through the stay, too. Overall: We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you to the whole staff!

Room had a window seat

Room and staff were great. Manager Keith and night associate Ryan were great. Had a little issue with neighbor who kept her TV on all night (when she wasn’t even there) and her TV was loud!

When we arrived, we were greeted by someone who apparently did not enjoy being there. Check-in was quick and the room was clean. The vending machine outside our room gave us the wrong drink and the front desk refused to do anything at all about it and basically insinuated that we pushed the wrong button. Instead of trying to do anything at all, they just said we had to call the vending company. We did just that, but received no answer and a week later haven't received any return call. The remote didn't work, so I called the front desk, but no one would answer. Finally when a different shift came on at 11 pm, she was able to resolve the issue. The bed was okay, not great. Pillows were hard. It just wasn't a great experience overall. Checkout was 11 am and right on the button housekeeping was knocking on our door. We have stayed at several Microtel's, but I believe this was the worst. I wouldn't stay at this particular one again.

Stayed a couple of nights visiting family in the area and our stay was terrific, thanks to Keith at the front desk. He was on top of everything and really takes pride in what he does. Pleasant, friendly and very helpful.

Okay hotel, but no one at front desk at check in. Had to wait 10 minutes and wonder if anyone was coming. When someone finally came, they were unfriendly and also did not apologize for the wait. Otherwise, the stay was fine. But someone should be at the desk at check in time. It was after 3 pm when I showed up.

I've stated at this property over many years. I've appreciated it because it is very convenient to visit the Finger Lakes I particularly want to commend Dom at the front desk for his friendliness and helpfulness. He helped us in many ways.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed for the Wine Glass Marathon. Very nice of them to extend checkout for the event. The night desk person who checked us in was very friendly. Breakfast was adequate. We could hear some noise down the hall but once everyone settled down it was fine.

My husband and I asked for an early check-in because we had a wedding to go to that started at 3pm, and the person at the front desk said they didn’t do early check-ins (even though the website advertises that they do) and we would have to wait until 3pm for a guaranteed check-in. By the time we got back to the hotel, it was around 11:30pm. There was a new person at the fronts desk, and he was able to check us in. However, when we walked into our room, it had not been cleaned. There were no other rooms available, so the person at the front desk had to change our sheets, but nothing else had really been cleaned properly. He said they were short staffed and the cleaning crew had already left for the day. I appreciated the free breakfast, but I felt gross staying in the room.

Location is very convenient for my needs.Ypur staff is always friendly. You have the best and easiest free breakfast on the business. I will continue to use you but 145 for a room is too much.

The Microtel Inn and Suites in Bath, NY is a nice facility with clean and quiet rooms. The staff was very helpful, and the hotel was conveniently located near downtown Bath. The continental breakfast was pretty basic but served the purpose and provided me with good morning coffee. I stayed for six nights and the only real issue I had was my room key card would stop working after about 2 days, so I had to go to the front desk a few times to have the card re-magnetized. My one other issue was that Wyndham says it is being "greener" to save water in that the bed sheets and towels only get replaced every 3 days (unless requested otherwise). I think that is great, but the other thing they should look at is the bathroom showerheads. A lower flow shower head could save a lot of water too, since the one I had in my room had the flow of a major flood and no adjustment.

Easily accessible from the freeway, quiet and well maintained. Complimentary breakfast was good.

The room was dirty, staff prioritized going out to smoke over restocking breakfast area at 9:20. Out of plates and silverware, no cooler items, and juice machine broken down. Would not recommend at all.

Everyone was so nice and attentive. The only thing that does need improvement is the morning continental breakfast. No orange juice or the breakfast sandwich also no fruit. All I was able to get at 6:30am was yogurt, coffee and cereal. It was not good but other than that everything else was good. Thank you to everyone for making my stay good. I will be back soon.

The breakfast buffet had a variety of options with trusted name brand items, items were individually packaged.

Cons: - significant quality decrease from one year ago - only decaf coffee provided in room - hair conditioner container in shower was empty - no maple syrup was available at breakfast - no butter was was available at breakfast - no knives available at breakfast - breakfast area was not clean and clerk was sitting at desk on her cellphone - guests had to refill supplies (if available) from kitchen cabinets - everybody was making waffles and searching for butter, syrup, knives. Nothing available. - poor quality service for the price. Will not be staying there again. Pros: - coffee was good

Open our room wasn't ready when we got here they quickly gave us enough to put us into a suite. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was adequate although there is no fresh fruit.

The exterior looks very appealing as does the lobby. The only complaint was the juice machine didn’t seem to be working.

The breakfast options were very good. They had breakfast sandwiches and omlets already prepared that could be reheated in the microwave, much better than the usual continental breakfast that is usually offered at other hotels.
