Overall we had a good stay. Location (if sea facing!) and view were awesome Cleanliness of apartment great too Most of the normal facilities ( knives, hair dryers, salad bowls) needed are available Parking bays very narrow and short esp if using an SUV or Ute-our biggest irritation of the whole place Building a bit dated and tired looking Outside communal areas could be better maintained Beds ok but not all that comfy Condensation on inside of windows when you wake up in the morning

Great place - we got the 2 bedroom suite. The balcony view was amazing, the kitchen with a full sized fridge freezer was very useful to us as we were travelling with kids. The beds were comfortable and the parking below was very easy to use. The suites are almost on the beach, a 1 min walk away from the playground and a takeaway, 3 mins walk to the woolworths and a 3 minute drive away from the other cafes, restaurants and the ferry. The only thing that would have pushed this to a full 5* review would be the property condition. While it was otherwise completely fine and generally clean, the windows and shower grout could have used some more attention. Otherwise a great stay for a milestone celebration vacation (with kids).

Beautiful location, comfortable beds, amazing shower, amazing kitchen!! We had a top floor ocean view 2 bedroom suite with a washer and dryer and full amazing kitchen kitchen, amazing top floor patio and big living room! We loved it and will return if in in the in the area again! Beautiful place!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom room on the third floor with the beach view. It was fantastic! The room had a spacious living/dining area with a lovely balcony. There was plenty of bench space in the kitchen. The only complaint was having to walk up 2 flights of stairs.

The images shown on the website are deceiving. Only a few units are renovated and only the front ones have water views. The photos are wide angle shots making the rooms look spacious The hotel rooms are old and have had a band aid job. The rooms and furnishing are dark and depressing and there is no air con in bedroom. There are no lifts so if yiu have suitcases you need to carry them up. No powerpoints near bedside tables and bedroom is small. Plastic shower base no screens on windows. The rooms have all the facilities you need it was clean but very basic accomodation. The location is very good.

Loved the two bedroom suite. It has lots of space, separate beds for kids and separate room for parents. One bathroom. Has living space, dining space, kitchen with laundry. It is a bit older but well maintained. Hotel can be easily missed and is right beside a gas station and in front of the beach which was convenient. It is away from the main wharf but only minutes drive.

We had a very good 4 night stay. We had a self contained room facing the beach which was great. It is located about 600m from the main area of town but handy to a Woolworths. Plenty of free on-site parking is available and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and facilities are a bit dated now but overall very comfortable.

This room was perfect for what we needed. The suite was very spacious - it was nice to have the lounge area to relax in after a busy day. It was walkable to Waitangi Treaty Grounds as well as the main strip and beach, though there was a beach and cafe right there too if you wanted. We knew we would be out and about most days so didn’t upgrade to the beach view and that was fine for us - but if you plan to chill during the day and look out you probably want to upgrade. Very clean, housekeeping were excellent. We arrived out of hours by the bus from Auckland and communication and arrangements for check-in was spot on. Thank you.

Really liked the 2 bedroom apartment. Had a view out the front to the sea. There was plenty of space and loved having 2 couches. Enjoyed the little touches like having plunger coffee. Highly recommend a stay here

The photos in the online advert made this property look modern and new ish. Its a dated property that has has a tidy up. Was still OK to stayvthere for the price but definately not a great deal at all. Main issue was the bedroom light on ceiling had a night light that we could not turn off so we had a bad sleep ! Other small thing was the TV is a tiny one postioned in a bad spot so if you like wathcing TV move on to the next property.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location facing the beach, easily walkable to Paihia town and wharf, also Whitangi Treaty Grounds. On the downside, some noise from the petrol station adjacent to the property. The room was well-equipped, and daily room servicing was excellent. However, the room fixtures and fittings e.g. wooden tables, chairs, kitchen units, bathroom sink, shower unit are showing their age, scuffed and looking well-worn. As it stands, it offers fair value for money, but it would benefit from a makeover.

Checked by a friendly staff member, who advised us of all useful local information. Only a 10 minute walk to numerous cafes, bars and shops. Excellent stay.

Friendly reception staff, who made us feel very welcome. My partner likes her coffee strong and they were very accommodating with a couple of extra bags of plunger coffee. Our room was very smart, clean and tidy. I would absolutely stay here again.

Just outside the main strip of Paihia which was perfect for a quieter stay - but still right across the road from a beautiful beach. Very accommodating and helpful staff at reception. Small supérette two doors down. Might suggest walking to town during busy times or if a cruise ship is in.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location facing the beach, easily walkable to Paihia town and wharf, also Whitangi Treaty Grounds. On the downside, some noise from the petrol station adjacent to the property. The room was well-equipped, and daily room servicing was excellent. However, the room fixtures and fittings e.g. wooden tables, chairs, kitchen units, bathroom sink, shower unit are showing their age, scuffed and looking well-worn. As it stands, it offers fair value for money, but it would benefit from a makeover.

Just outside the main strip of Paihia which was perfect for a quieter stay - but still right across the road from a beautiful beach. Very accommodating and helpful staff at reception. Small supérette two doors down. Might suggest walking to town during busy times or if a cruise ship is in.

We had a very good 4 night stay. We had a self contained room facing the beach which was great. It is located about 600m from the main area of town but handy to a Woolworths. Plenty of free on-site parking is available and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and facilities are a bit dated now but overall very comfortable.

Perfect location, wonderful view, comfortable bed, good shower. Had everything you might need, clean and tidy serviced every day great choice of hot drinks and smooth check in and check out. We will be back.
