Friendly staff, good size clean rooms however, the whole complex is very outdated and in need of renovation. The oven didn't work, the taps wouldn't turn off properly, the games room needed painting and the equipment needed replacing. The swimming pool was dirty and dangerous as the ladder to get in and out was broken and so we had to put a plastic garden chair in to be able to hoist ourselves out!

Was clean and tidy but quite dated. Part of me booking this property was the pool and spa but was not operational. Parking not great and limited. Was running late for checkin and tried xalling several times with no response by phone or email.

The swimming pool needed a good clean. There was no step to get in an out of the pool. The sofa bed we had in our room was broken so had to exchange for another bed, which was uncomfortable. Play ground needs an up grade. staff were friendly and supportive.

Served our needs. Its just around the corner from Paihia, and is quiet, clean, and has Sky TV. Theres a very small playground, and indoor games room. The outdoor pool was closed for maintenance. The entrance driveway is steep downhill off the main road, easy to maneuver. Car park is down at the base.

When we got there no one was in office have to ring a bell and wait. Place is run down the pool side room was dirty and moldy everything is broken. Everything is old like the old school houses. Pool gate is broken and my 3 year old walked straight in pool was uncovered and out of order very unsafe. I requested a upgrade pretty fast there was 1 thank goodness was my bday and felt like it was just depressing. Paid only a fraction more for new room which wasn't to bad was definitely better than first room looks wise however lots was still broken. Door knob at bk fell off every time u closed it, toaster didn't work, certain hanger had no screws in one side, mold on blinds, burn mark in carpet list goes ons .. bbq was broken and rusty, swing chair in garden broken, spa dirty. Games room is ok but definitely needs a upgrade radio was secured down but didn't work so thats pointless. This place has so much potential but just is not maintained and would not go back or waste my money.

"seaview" not really... it is not in the main bay and does not really have the seaviews. The place is run down, only surface clean, the pool looked terrible. Would not recommend.

We were disappointed in our stay here - the units were very tired and dated with poor quality kitchen and bathroom facilities. The sofa futon in our unit was in a terrible condition. The bed in the bedroom lost a leg when I moved it to access electric point behind bed for phone charger. There were crickets jumping all over the bed when I went to bed. The taps were very dodgy to use. Outside the units the paths and gardens were in need of attention and the pool was very murky and needs attention. The gate into the pool area wasn’t shutting properly so I suspect it’s a health and safety issue. I really hope the owners can take more care to improve their investment.

The motel is in dreadful condition. Curtains hanging off rails, filthy couches. Condition of vanity in bathroom dreadful. I had been hoping to swim in pool but it was murky and tiles dirty so I didn’t risk it. The furniture around the pool was broken and really only fit for the tip. We also felt that some of the electrics weren’t safe.The only good thing was comfortable beds and good quality clean sheets and towels. I realise it was on the cheap side but as we booked late was all we could find, otherwise we would have been tempted to move. Very disappointing as I have used the Hotel.com site for years and have never ended up somewhere like this.

The unit was spotlessly clean. The large bedroom was separate from the living area with plenty of room There is a pleasant view from the deck. The motel is away from the hustle and bustle of the area, making it a very peaceful and pleasant place to stay while travelling and on holiday.

Bathroom mold the ceiling and down by the door frame. Kitchen Stove must be at least 80 years old 1 element broken and when I turned another one on to heat food the element smell. Curtains went to close them and there were hocks missing and looked like no cleaning had been done behind them for a long time going by how many cobwebs there were.. A noticeable stain on the carpet as you walk in. The ranch slider could do with some CRC as hard to open and close. Area in front of unit also needed a tidy up. Would I stay there again no. But I guess you get what you pay for. If the $$ had not already been taken on my credit card I would have canceled and stayed else where.

Sucked. Bathroom was dirty. Carpet was filthy. Had to strip bed because it had a heating blanket with hard plastic tabs that dug into our backs. Location is 1km out of town and parking in town is time limited. Real hassle.

Unfortunately like a lot of motels this property could do with a huge makeover, The bathroom had mould on the skirting boards, there was a hole in the ceiling above the dining area and the couch had disgusting stains on it!. I had considered complaining to the staff but thought a bad review would get more attention. Sorry guys but you let us down and we wont be back nor will I recommend you to any person. Please spend some money on the property and do better!

Det första dåliga tecknet var mögellukten direkt man kom in i rummet. Allt från möbler till köksutrustning och badrum kändes sunkigt, smutsigt och slitet. Vattnet både luktade och framför allt smakade mögel vilket gjorde mig illamående en hel dag efter att ha druckit det från kranen. Dåligt med p-platser, lyhört och väldigt märkliga, sporadiska städrutiner. Sängarna var helt okej men det var väl också det enda.

Googled pet friendly motels and this was the first property to pop up also searched pet friendly on Expedia also first to pop up so booked back in September. Even wrote on on special requirements that we were bringing two small dogs. Turn up on the day to book in check in and start to unload and manager comes out we do not take dogs we changed our policy. After a bit of negotiation we agreed to pay a cleaning fee for the dogs and agreed to keep them off furniture and crated if not on lead. We booked two rooms dogs did not go into second room. Upon entering our room and looking around we found dead cockroaches in the cupboards, dirty fridge, windows with no latches on, table was marked from someone elses curry, the pool looked very dirty, tap in kitchen dripping, opened the wardrobe and it stunk musty, stove, utensils, glasses, plates not clean, shower dirty, 1 flannel between 3 of us. Mould in cupboards, damp ceilings and mould in rooms, dirty doors would never go again

Location ok. The two rooms we stayed in had fold out beds for a couch. They had disgusting covers on them and everytime we sat down the base moved. The ovens did not work properly. The room was advertised as deluxe but was very far from this. Cleanliness was obviously not a priority for this Motel. Also had ants everywhere including the fridge as the fridge door didn't shut. Kitchen cupboards were not clean. Dining chairs had stains on them. There was mould and swelling on the bathroom cupboards and felt like rotten floor under the vinal as you hoped out of the dirty shower. we left after one night of our 4 night booking

The room was a decent size but thats the only positive thing. Everywhere inside and out was absolutely filthy. I booked there because my search came up with aloha Seaview resort as dog friendly. It wasn't and i was terribly inconvenienced when I had to find alternative accommodation for my dog after the first night of him staying there with us. The state of the rooms were only fit for a dog. The whole place needs a serious upgrade and deep clean. The curtains were heavily ripped in our room. No tea towel or face cloths provided, we had to go and buy some along with toilet paper and Tea bags because the room wasn't serviced daily as it stated it would be. Really disappointed

The pool and spa are in definite need of proper maintenance and a refurbishment of the bbq area is also in need of attention. The sofa in the unit was missing a number of slats causing you to fall through the base if you sat in the wrong spot. The wall art and furnishings are all very faded and dated, and the coffee table has definitely seen better days. There was a broken fan supplied in the room which wasn't ideal given the warm couple of nights stay there and with not being an air conditioned property. Overall the stay was average but this place could be so much better with a few improvements!!

The property location was great and the views were amazing. Games room was pretty cool. However when entering the rooms you could see it needs an upgrade. There wasn’t anywhere in the shower to put the soap. It was so cold at night and the oil heaters weren’t helping. The beds were very uncosy. The hot spa was So dirty we had to call reception to get it cleaned before we could use it. The wifi was terrible and they said they have no broadband. The pool was dirty and you could see the algae. Was closed So had unhappy kids.

On arrival I waited inside the office as the door was open for 20 minutes before the receptionist arrived and was told I should of pushed a buzzer outside. He was rude and not helpful so I left and didn't end up staying there I have requested a refund

The manager was welcoming and caring. Anything that was not in our room that we needed, he responded quickly with the items. The balcony had a lovely outlook and the room was well ventilated having two entrances. It was quiet even though on a busy road. Building set well back from road. Would stay there again.

The entrance driveway is steep downhill off the main road, easy to maneuver. Car park is down at the base.

Sucked. Bathroom was dirty. Carpet was filthy. Had to strip bed because it had a heating blanket with hard plastic tabs that dug into our backs. Location is 1km out of town and parking in town is time limited. Real hassle.

The room and furniture were in poor shape. The kitchen smelt very musty and the teatowels were dirty. The pool had scum on the water, we didn't use the hot tub. Some patrons were extremely noisy past midnight and no one came to ask them to be quiet. I asked them myself and they did quieten down.
