Great room, restaurant is not very good. We had a dinner and breakfast with the hotel and the food was just okay. Otherwise pleasant stay. Parking was not an enjoyable experience, we had to find street parking because the hotel booked up their parking for hotel guests.

Nice, older property, staff are very nice, rooms have had some renovations and they are still working on others. Views out back are awful, no AC either. Cobh is a lovely little Irish town.

Stay here was very good. Historical hotel right on the water. Did not eat or drink as was only here for one night. Parking is a bit of a nightmare so suggest to book a hotel car spot if you can as street parking can be very busy. Some great bars in Cobh such as Roaring Donkey and Mimmos pizza house was awesome. Overall love to come back for a longer stay next time.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Staff was great. Parking can be a bit of a problem if you can’t get a spot in the car park. The surrounding area is some of the best in Ireland in my opinion. The one thing that I didn’t like about the property is that if you have a room in 001 or 002 you’re taking the lift up a level and then have to walk to go downstairs to your room. A lot of stairs. Lugging my bags up and down was an absolute nightmare.

Well located hotel with bookable parking. A sea view room would have been perfect, but we booked a standard room as none available which was fairly small and overlooked the bins and fire escape at the rear. As it’s an old hotel extended into other properties, the lift serves the central portion with corridors , fire doors and for our room, one flight of stairs up and 2 fights of stairs down to reach it. Not great if you are lugging a heavy suitcase or any form of mobility issues. If this is an issue, then check before booking and ask for a room near the lift. The bathroom was very small as well. Cobh is a lovely little town and worth spending a few days here. Lots of cafes and bars but evening dining options seemed limited when we visited.

Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking was on site and very convenient (€7.50 for 24 hours with in/out flexibility). Location brilliant in Cobh and a historic building. Nice sea view!

This was one of my favorite stays for my entire trip through many countries. I LOVED the area right on the beach and among all the shops and dining areas. I attended the Titanic museum which was only $13 euros and was worth every penny. The staff were VERY friendly and the hotel was spotless and was also worth every penny. Thank you for everything!

Very old, perhaps even historic, building and it shows. Guest rooms were extremely dated. Pretty sure the bathroom has mould as the mildew smell was apparent. Room faced back of building where rubbish bins were kept. As a result, could not open windows for ventilation because of odors emanating from refuse and rubbish. Hotel restaurant is one of very few that serve food past 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. Staff were plenty welcoming and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay.. parking was easy and check in and out was easy. The place was a bit outdated but the bathrooms in the rooms were completely remodeled. Great location to the city center and shops. Just a cute place, would stay here again.

First room was poor with a bathtub, no electrical outlets beside bed, unadjustable heat radiator with broken control knobs and no night table on one side. Changed to another room with a nice walk-in shower, electrical outlets, digital controlled radiator, and night tables. Moral is to specify a nice room.

Nice to be by the sea. Close to many things even the train which you can take into Cork. The place was nice but the room was really small and it was tucked away in a corner which you had to go upstairs then downstairs, it was a pain with luggage.

I love this hotel. It’s an old historical building directly on the main street, steps from restaurants, bars and the Titanic Experience. The rooms are nice with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows to give it that old world feel. It is dated in that it has no USB ports so we had to use our converters, which is inconvenient but not the end of the world. One negative: the shower is too small. You have to be small to average to be comfortable.

Delightful ild style hotel . The staff were terrific. They couldn't have been more friendly, efficient or helpful. The riom was lovely and comfortable and had a fabulous view over the sea. I had a wakeup call from the tapping of a seagull. The food in the hitel was good and given that getting an evening meal after 8pm this time of year it is an excellent option

Loved the Commodore and the staff at the hotel. We found the staff at the attached restaurant to be rather rude. We ate there multiple times and they were by far the rudest of any we encountered in Ireland. In fact the only reason we really noticed is because everyone we encountered in Ireland thus far had been so nice. Overall food was good though. The area is great, very fun to walk. :)

Parking was available and was easy to find and then receive a spot in hotel lot behind the hotel. Staff at front desk and hotel restaurant were excellent in recommendations for shopping and other questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

The only issue that we had was that the room above ours was bieng quitel loud (stomping and loud banging). I finally called the front desk at 23:30 to complain that I would like to moved to another room if the noise didn't stop. They must have acted immediately, because within 5 minutes the noise stopped and was not an issue for the rest of the night. I am very greatful to the staff for their taking care of the issue.

I liked the hotel but the restaurant had pretty bad service. The hotel is nice and right in the beautiful town. I would recommend the hotel to stay at but would skip their restaurant. The beds were comfortable and everyone was nice at the hotel.

The room we were given was newly remodeled and very comfortable. I asked for a fan, which made sleeping very pleasant. The on property bar was tiny but we enjoyed a few there. We had breakfast there as well. The full Irish was delicious.

Lovely historic property with waterfront views. Beds comfortable. Large rooms. Clean and spacious bathroom. Didn't like the fact that you can hear people walking on floor above you - floorboards creak. Also, dinner in restaurant was excellent but Sunday roast as advertised was sold out early. Very friendly staff. Would stay again. Great central location.

Really nice hotel. Very friendly staff that is extremely helpful. Facilities are top notch. Breakfast was delicious but the price a bit steep. At other places we get buffet options for the same price. There were no fruits or takeaway snacks.

Parking at the hotel was a plus albeit a very tight car park. Reception staff were pleasant and very welcoming. Room was very spacious as was the en-suite bathroom. Very clean. Didn't like breakfast area as it seemed to be part of another establishment. Breakfast was just okay. Evening menu was limited and a bit pricey( a couple walked out after sitting down and seeing the prices).We were surprised to find you couldn't get anything to eat after 8.45pm! Hotel location was superb. A room at the front of the hotel would have been a bonus.
