Its average old motel they tried to renovate. Nothing special. No lit well at night around parking lot and landscaping/weeds very overgrown. Back exterior door missing all of its card access hardware so it was unlocked 24/7. I personally will not be staying there again. Im sure i could find other / better propeeties at their price point

The lounge had customers using profanity continuously and the bartender allowed the behavior regardless of other customers in the lounge… The beer was luke warm. Room walls were so thin we heard conversation clear as day with TV’s blasting until 1:00 in the morning. Don’t stay at this place

Our room was very comfortable and quiet and enjoyable. The rooms themselves are much nicer than the lobby and the hallway. We also enjoyed relaxing at the pool.

The entrance was not obvious to find, the lobby area seems a bit dated. But the room was good, balcony was so tiny it was basically useless. Hotel staff was nice and friendly. There is a bar that serves foos, but the staff in the in the bar was not very knowledgeable, service was very slow and half the items on the food menu they didnt have. The pool was nice.

The indoor pool was closed with an “out of order” sign on the door, which was a real disappointment, as that was something about this hotel that i was looking forward to. Also, security was a little bit too relaxed for my comfort, for example, you did not have to scan your room key to enter through the back door of the property. The room was decently clean. I did notice a few stray hairs and some rust spots, but overall, it did seem clean. One thing that i found odd about this property was its variety of different names. I booked it under “Pocono Inn & Banquet” but it also had a desk in the lobby for “Fairmont Inn & Suits” and there were numerous signs starting that it was the “Clarion Inn & Suites” and when i put the address into my GPS it came up as a “Rodeway” hotel. Very confusing.

Room was large/clean. Bed was not as comfortable for me but my husband didn’t complain. Great bathroom. Whole room seemed clean. Really enjoyed the bar. Great place to hangout and relax. Bartender was very good/friendly. Met some great people.

Very nice and clean place to stay. Nice room size. The tv picture was a little glitchy in room 113 and the shower was a little delayed draining, but overall this is a great place to stary. Very clean.

Musty smell that was masked with a lot of odor killer.It triggered allergies and headache. I had to clean the Ac filters and unit to get some relief;furthermore , the bed sheets seemed like they were used before and recycled for the next guest. I didn’t feel secure during my sleep , due to the poor lock on the door to the balcony. It’s the equivalent of a bathroom lock with an emergency pin hole from the outside.

The TV in room 103 has a hole in the screen. There's no slip-prevention in the bathtub, which is slippery. There are no hand holds in the shower - and no place to put the soap. Noise in the adjoining rooms is terrible.

Stayed overnight for a concert and this place was fine for one night but I’d be hesitant to stay here again. All staff I met were very kind and helpful but the two glaring complaints I have were the bed felt like sleeping on concrete, and I paid extra from a room that was advertised as “Mountain View” but looking at the area, I don’t think any of the rooms could have any such thing.

We arrived around 12:15 and told check-in wasn’t until 4pm. We could check in early but it would be $10/hr and that they could give me a “flat rate” of $40. I said no thank you - I was not paying any more than I already had to stay. Would not return.

I purposely chose this hotel as NJ hotels are a lot more expensive. This place is 1/2 mile inside PA on I-80. It’s a basic overnight stay and we will utilize this hotel again in the future. Dunkin is next door, 2 gas stations right there too.

It is an odd hotel, very close to the I80 ramp. Our non smoking courtyard room with king sized bed was quiet, had clean bed, working AC, clean towels. Smelled ok. Carpet was old. Staff was courteous. Location is very convenient for hiking and rafting. And we spent the evenings within walking distance at Sango Kura Sake Brewery and Joe Bosco BBQ. Interesting and fun experience at an affordable price.

This is an older hotel (Previously Clarion - the sign is still up) and I am assuming under new ownership. The new ownership is doing a good job with it. Our room was clean and comfortable and everything (heat/cooling, hot water, tv., fridge, lighting, etc.) worked well. The beds, linens and pillows were clean and comfortable with a variety of pillow densities which I really appreciate. The hallway to the room were clean and uncluttered. Front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. They have a heated (80) pool which looked clean and nice but we did not use it. There is a Dunkin' Donuts immediately next door. Deer Head Inn is only about 1 mile away if you're in town Thursday-Sunday and are interested in hearing some great jazz and having a good meal. The "Village Farmer" bakery and gift shop is very close (< 1/2 mile); stop for some great baked goods, famous chicken pot-pie or other baked goods. Pocono Premium Outlets is located only about 5 miles away. The area the hotel is located in is very quiet, yet convenient highway access is closeby. I would stay here again.

I was looking for a less expensive place to stay for a two day training. After the first day, I went to the hotel. It was clean and functional but, everything smelled like detergent and the common areas were a little worn. The front desk folks were nice, and I grabbed a drink in the bar. The bar was loud as there was a funeral celebration going on. However, everyone was friendly.

The photo's (could be older) of the property is better than it actually looks in person. My have a car as not a lot the immediate area, however not a distance to attractions. No breakfast, only coffee. The outside doors are not locked or no key entry. Could be safer!

This will be a very detailed review. First, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The manager didn't even charge us the fee for incidentals. Which was super nice. The hotel is on the older side. No elevators, no breakfast not even coffee or fresh fruit in a bowl), the restaurant was closed Thursday night (we never checked to see if it was open on Friday), only one room key, vending machines were well stocked and the prices were average. They did have lemonade by the front desk which we noticed upon checkout. The following comments are about the room itself. The door got stuck when opening and closing, towels were very clean and looked new, beds were 8 out of 10 for comfort, plenty of pillows, paper coffee cups seemed old and had an odor, toilet was clean but not perfect under the rim. Refrigerator worked well. Balcony was lovely. Now about the shower: the water pressure could have powerwashed the entire room. I had to hold on tight to make sure it didn't blow me out of the tub! Lol. It was comical. It made for super quick showers, though. All in all, it was a decent hotel. Not luxury, it just met the basic needs. Tbh, I dont think I'd stay again. But it was good for the price! 👍
