Great and friendly staff room was very clean only thing i didnt like was pool and hot tub was down when we arrived on first day but pool opened up on 2nd day but hot tub was still down for the 3 days we stayed.overall i was very pleased with our stay again staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Staff was friendly and quick location was a quick on and off the main road, but not many food/ entertainment options nearby. Equipment in fitness center out of order, hot tub under repair. Decent breakfast and drink selection, just not very good.

The pool was closed and we were not made aware that it would be, one of the only reasons we stayed there. Stained furniture and mattress and bedding. Definitely not up to Marriott standards. Property did not want to work with Expedia to resolve the issues.

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool and daily breakfast were great extras. The pillows are horrible. The whirlpool was broken. The outdoor area, by the pool is a nice space, but even though our room was on the third floor, when multiple people are out there the noise can be clearly heard in your room.

Great place for the price! Kids enjoyed the indoor pool but the hot tub was under construction. Overall very nice!

Suite was an excellent bargain! Beds and sofa bed were super comfy. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Would def stay here again! Breakfast buffet with hot and cold offerings to please kids and adults! The pool was closed but we could use the one at a sister hotel right next door. 24 hour Coffee/tea and ice water available in lobby!

Poor was out of order. They said it was getting fixed but it never did.

The room was extremely dirty especially the carpet. Also, next day they did not clean the room. The following morning I had to make sure on the third day to clean and offer clean towels

Room was dirty, carpet terrible, cleaning was promised every 2 days but finally got a partial cleaning after 3 days.

The only complaint I have is that the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned well, there was still hair in the tub, and there was something on the countertop in the bathroom. The room itself was clean looking. The room was a bit in the pricey side, but it was a good stay overall.

There were multiple problems with the room first of all there were stains all over the Carpet also the lampshades were stained and taped together the grout in the bathroom was disgustingly black. The room had cobwebs in it. Also the overall cleanliness of the room was very, very poor not someplace that would stay again especially for the price I paid for it.

Took a long time to check in, not sure why. The facility was old and it showed. It could use a good cleaning and some updates. The bathroom was moldy and if you looked closely things were not clean. Our toilet ran every hour. Breakfast was nice, but overall I would not return nor recommend.

The pool wasn't clean, the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned, the TV screen was damaged, the floor had stains all over, the bathroom floor and shower walls were gross.

The hotel is no longer maintained. Mattress has gross stains, including what looked like blood. Lamp shade was destroyed, super dusty, and moldy caulking. Would never stay here again until renovated or new management.

The floor in hallway never got vaccum in the 3 days i was there. Didn't get trash in room taken out, nor did we get clean towels.

This is an aging hotel. The beds are old and worn, and the carpets desperately need replacing. I stepped in something matted and still sticky as I was getting into bed and got pretty grossed out. They've tried to make it appealing but the old carpets were just too much for me. The front desk was very friendly and helpful when we needed some extra towels, and cutlery for our dinner, and our 8 year old had a ball in the pool. This is a very family friendly place and the morning breakfast was pretty good with good options, and overall it was an ok place to lay our heads after a long day at the zoo. Unfortunately, we won't stay again in the future.

The pillows are terrible. They were flat and had no support for your neck. Air conditioner was didn't work properly.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located for us. Plenty of free parking. The staff were pleasant and helpful with requests or needs. For example, the hair dryer in our room broke, I let Tia, the housekeeper know, and she quickly replaced it with a new one. The room was spacious. clean, and quiet. Decorated in a retro-chic style. The bed was comfortable. Basic toiletry available in the room. The breakfasts were very good with many options to choose from. They were not the same the two mornings we ate there. Plan to stay here again for our next visit!

Employees were very nice. Breakfast bar was good. Room was the smallest and worst laid out room that I can ever remember staying in. The temperature control was awful— either freezing or too hot. It fluctuated all night long. None of us, 2 children and 2 adults slept well because of the temperature. Only received 2 towels for 4 people— had to go to the desk for more. Pool was open and nice but the water and room temperature was cold. We had to put the chair in the closet so I didn’t trip over it at night. Needs updating. Idk if we got the worst possible room, because we purchased through Hotels.com, or what, but it was not satisfactory.

Traveling for business, it was very nice to come back to clean, quiet room. Breakfast was good and was always ready for us early risers, at 6:00 am. Only room for improvement would be television reception. Could not watch anything without screen frequently freezing, for up to a minute at a time.

The beds are way too soft.

The thermostat was set at 92 degrees when we walked in the room after 10 pm . It took hours and hours to get cool . Sleeping was horrible because of the high temperature . Wall sconce light was not working . Received a $50 refund . The room should have been comped with walking in to a room at that temperature . It was horrible !!

Decent stay. Breakfast was good. Kickback Jacks- Good nearby restaurant. The rooms could use some updating. The bed was nice. One major complaint: the pillows. All were terrible and offered no support even tripled up. I had to use a closet blanket and towel to assist the pillow to get comfortable . I didn’t call the front desk to resolve it … it was late. Best of luck!

Bed was like sleeping on the floor, hard. Told front desk and was told yeah they aren’t the best.

The entire staff was totally awesome. I was in town for a Firefighter conference. My family came with me and my wife and kiddo got sick. The staff went above and beyond for taking care of us! They were so friendly and accommodating.

Front desk ladies were friendly upon arrival. Room was dated. We had a gentleman outside our window cooking on the grill and talking on the phone from 11:30pm-1:30am till we finally knocked on the window and yelled. Tried to call front desk numerous times. No one answered. Breakfast was good with home made waffles.

Okay, so, the day staff was AMAZING. So helpful, so kind, so welcome. But the gentleman manning the desk at night really upset me. I called down to inform him that the mini fridge in my room was not keeping my insulin (LIFE SAVING MEDICINE) cold, at all. It was room temperature, which can NOT happen. He literally laughed, let me know that pretty much none of the mini fridges work in the entire building (yeah, right, I do not believe that at all). His solution was to take it medicine to the employee break room or stick it in a bucket of ice overnight. He was completely unempathetic. The hotel was mostly a great experience. I was sad that the hot tub was closed but no big deal. The employees should make it less of a messy closure though. It looked quite unsanitary and not visually appealing for the room at all. Also, there were hairs all over my shower wall so I had to clean it before using. Breakfast was a great variety. Mostly quiet atmosphere besides the blasted dog on the second floor a few doors down that barked from the time I checked in until almost 11pm, and kept my young children awake. It was a nice atmosphere. I would stay there again if they fixed the mini fridge issue and taught the man working the desk some manners.

Great stay and extremely friendly staff. They made sure to make our stay nice and accomadating.

Superb staff at front desk

The heating didn’t work. We got prompt attention and when it needed a repair we were upgraded

First off, the staff was over the top friendly, professional and especially engaged. 5 stars. Place felt safe and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast as well. I definitely will stay there again when I am in to visit family

This property was tucked away in a safe and quiet place, however, it is easy to get to.

Nice hotel convenient to the NC Zoo, Dinning and shopping.

The inside of the property was very clean and the staff was very friendly. On the outside, there were cigarette butts everywhere. They also had landscaping done where they had been edging and weeding, but they didn’t blow the debris off of the sidewalk. There were also a lot of people just outside in the parking lot drinking and hanging out pretty much nightly. The indoor pool is nice and heated but is very small. The area is convenient to everything. Only about 10-15 from the zoo and several shops and dining options within walking distance.

Nice staff, comfy bed and room. Good breakfast. Difficult to locate property. Better signage at turnoff to property would help.

We enjoyed our stay. The front desk was very friendly and inviting. Checkin went smoothly. Our room was comfortable and clean. It was surprisingly quiet also considering the hotel looked full. We enjoyed our time in the pool. The pool Area was clean also. The hot tub is permanently closed but we knew that ahead of time. We definitely will stay here again. It’s convenient to restaurants and the zoo.

Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Nice and quiet and clean. Free breakfast had a lot to offer and was nice and clean area. Staff was also great.

Nothing bad to say necessarily. Your average hotel that shows signs of use and some age. Staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was pretty darn good.

Hot food was adequate and there was a selection of cold foods. There was oat milk as an alternative to dairy, but would be helpful for yogurt selections, as well. Facilities were good. The location was busy and site was primarily concrete.
