The Stone Willow has a beautiful country setting within easy access to Stratford; perfect for a Festival visit. Rooms have a fridge, coffee maker and microwave so simple meals can be preprepared as the hotel does not have any food services. A few picnic tables on the lovely grassed area would be perfect to enjoy eating outdoors. The spotless rooms are modestly furnished and would benefit from additional lighting . This hotel has terrific potential and with a few minor additions, will soon be the best Festival accommodations. We will certainly return again.

The room was nice and spacious and included a decent sized fridge and a coffee maker. They turned off the water for repairs for several hours while we were there without much warning or compensation but overall, for the price, we were happy with our stay.

The room floors were slippery. The toilet was too low (children's height). The shower was slippery. We wanted to go to the restaurant, but they said they were closing (earlier than the published hours). We did not stay the time booked and went elsewhere. Very disappointing.

This Inn just reopened and was newly renovated and clean. Hopefully people will start coming here again so that a bar and restarant are possible again We got take out dinner from town. Very close

The rooms were very clean and they don't clean your room unless asked which I liked. The property has just undergone a referbisment and change in ownership. The new owner is very friendly and helps out around the hotel and restaurant which is really nice to see. The AC and heat work well, just took a minute to figure out how to set the controls. For women, the black makeup cloth was fantastic.

Our initial suite was completely littered with dead flies (at least 70), which was very bizarre. Luckily, the inn staff are so kind. They immediately remedied the situation and offered us another suite which was clean.

The heat was not working in this property and it was -5. There was no receptionist or anyone at the front desk when I checked in or out. I had to call to check in. Lack of clean towel. The hand towel in the washroom was found dirty.

Less than mediocre stay. There isn’t always someone at reception desk. Cleanliness is an issue. Bathtub wasn’t cleaned and had a small amount of hair from previous guests in it. A/C was old, loud, and unreliable. Beds were comfortable. Shower ran out of hot water (well warm water) after only a few minutes and I was the first to shower. Reception area had a dirty tissue on the floor that was never swept up our whole stay. Would not stay again.

Loved our stay. The inn is just on the outskirts of St Mary's. Beautiful property. You feel like you are in the country. Big window in the room. So clean. We were really happy. When we arrived we knew to call the number on the desk and someone came right away. So easy. Very friendly. Great price -- we feel lucky to have found it. So close to Stratford. So easy to get back after the play. Highly recommend the Stone Willow Inn. Once they get a little busier and more experience, this place is going to be in high demand!

Room was dirty. Towels had stained and someone hair. my room was not clean for the entire five days I was there. Even after I asked for my room to be clean. Washroom was dirty shower curtain sustained all over it. mini fridge froze everything.

Room had no central light and only one bedside non trilight bulb between the two queens, no Kleenex, no shower cap,no conditioner and most importantly no mat for the inside of the tub which was slippery. Beds were comfortable and room was clean and had a little fridge.

At midnight when I went to bed I realized that the door to the adjoining room did not lock. The lock would not turn far enough to actually lock. Too late to change rooms and my daughter was already asleep. Staff had put the mini fridge in front of the door to keep it closed. The people in the next room could have gotten into our room. I didn’t sleep well in this situation.

Definitely will be staying here again. Nole at the front desk went above and beyond for us. Very helpful and knowledgeable. There being a restaurant on site is a bonus. We didn’t get to eat there cause it wasn’t opening for 2 weeks yet at that time but is very convenient. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Great place to stay while snowmobiling.

Rooms were quite nice and comfortable and we enjoyed being able to eat in the restaurant at the hotel. Our main complaint was that there wasn't anyone at the front desk most of the time and I felt awkward having to phone the number left there "for immediate assistance" with my questions.

The smoking area had lots of weeds growing up thru the patio stones, the picnic table full of green moss. .Gardens have weeds taller than the plants. The creamer for the coffee curdled the coffee. It was way expired. We waited over an hour to get coffee cups in the morning and then could not drink the coffee. Only 1 bar of soap to share with three people. The room smelled bad when we arrived so we had to open the window. The only thing good was the room was ok and the beds are comfortable. Not staff on duty at all times. I think they all work from home. You have to phone Noel to get any answers to problems. We could not get the room door to open with the code given to us. Had to call again to Noel to find out how to get in the room. No one was there for check in and no one there for check out either. No staff on duty at all for our entire stay. I would not recommend staying here to anyone. I will not stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Stone Willow for a recent wedding at the golf course across the road. Staff were fantastic. They accommodated an early check in. Noticed that we had a baby stroller and gave us an accessible room very close to the entrance. The Inn was quiet, comfortable and clean. The check in and check out processes were easy. Parking lot was very close and easy to navigate. And finally, the burger at the restaurant in the lobby was AMAZING!!!

I was heading to Stratford for work and needed to stay near there the night before. I found this hotel and decided to try it. They have recently re-opened under new ownership. The room had been completely renovated, it was very spacious and comfortable. Nice quiet location in the beautiful town of St. Marys. It was only a 15 minute drive to Stratford so it you were going to the Stratford Festival this is certainly within range. I was very pleased!

Loved our stay. The inn is just on the outskirts of St Mary's. Beautiful property. You feel like you are in the country. Big window in the room. So clean. We were really happy. When we arrived we knew to call the number on the desk and someone came right away. So easy. Very friendly. Great price -- we feel lucky to have found it. So close to Stratford. So easy to get back after the play. Highly recommend the Stone Willow Inn. Once they get a little busier and more experience, this place is going to be in high demand!

Noticed that we had a baby stroller and gave us an accessible room very close to the entrance. The Inn was quiet, comfortable and clean. The check in and check out processes were easy. Parking lot was very close and easy to navigate. And finally, the burger at the restaurant in the lobby was AMAZING!!!

Definitely will be staying here again. Nole at the front desk went above and beyond for us. Very helpful and knowledgeable. There being a restaurant on site is a bonus. We didn’t get to eat there cause it wasn’t opening for 2 weeks yet at that time but is very convenient. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Great place to stay while snowmobiling.

Good value for the money. Seems like ownership/management may lack operating procedures: (1) no soap or body wash (2) no face cloths (3) no glasses or cups ( 4) marketed as including breakfast but really no breakfast. Cereal and mini muffins and donuts. No fruit etc.

The room floors were slippery. The toilet was too low (children's height). The shower was slippery. We wanted to go to the restaurant, but they said they were closing (earlier than the published hours). We did not stay the time booked and went elsewhere. Very disappointing.

The washroom toilet in lobby at check-in was clogged in the women's & no paper towels in the mens. Toilet in room leaked around bottom seal. There was no garbage can in room to dispose of garbage. Unable to have regular tv channels. Had to set up our existing amazon account to access any television. Had to have the front desk attendant set up for us. Complimentary breakfast was extremely limited and coffee being over an hour old. Very strong. The room was clean though and had a little fridge to store food items we had with us. This Inn has a great potential of being a great place to stay, especially if they partnered with the wedding venue across the road. Loved the name & look of the exterior building! This Inn just reopened and was newly renovated and clean. Hopefully people will start coming here again so that a bar and restarant are possible again We got take out dinner from town. Very close

We had a very comfortable relaxing stay and the staff were friendly kind and quick to help with anything we needed. Also enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant on site . Highly recommend!

The inn had been renovated and just reopened in June 2024. The restaurant had not reopened yet but dining was close by. The rooms were clean and were large in size. The bed was comfortable. Very easy check in and out.

The hotel grounds are shabby. Very weedy and the grass needs cutting. The pavement is crumbling. There was a poor guy hand weeding out front and he’ll be employed for days. The entrance and hallways were dreary and there was a moldy smell in the hallways. The actual room was clean and quite pleasant.

No staff on site. Not a hotel at all. Advertised restaurant was closed on Friday evening and Saturday morning on a summer weekend. Code given for the room opened onto a pair of unmade beds. Had to call al long distance number to get a code for another room overlooking the parking lot.
