No fitness center-/ as the website advertises- that’s false advertising!!! Also the strong cigarette smoke smell coming through some doors on the first floor tells me they don’t ENFORCE the no smoke policy. Very disappointing!

There is no elevator for the 2nd floor. Thankfully they accommodated us with a ground floor room. The bed was uncomfortable, top blanket stained, furniture scarred and sticky. Needs some updates and cleaning but keep the friendly check in people.

When we first arrived noticed the glass between the staff and myself very dirty and this is a older hotel. Found out no elevator and few parking spaces in front, no parking on the side. only in a dark secluded area back behind the hotel! For two women traveling alone, not total comfortable. We arrived at 11:30pm and the back door was not secure!!! The room had a strange odor….would not return and disappointed in Wyndom!

The TV in my room did not work but the manager switched me to another room upon my request. I am not a smoker and did not appreciate that the popular smoking area was on a patio by the front door. Every time I walked in or out, there were smokers and a cloud of smoke. There were no coffee makers in the rooms which is an amenity in other hotels in this range.

we requested a non-smoking room. it was late and we had two dogs. we got to the room with all our stuff and our dogs and it reeked of smoke. we thought it might be the room next to us. we decided we could handle it, but it was overwhelming and terrible. we could not wait to get out of there. the room we were in was in the smoking area of the hotel.

Tiny lobby/breakfast area, but GREAT room: clean, comfy and nice. Breakfast was nothing to write home about: coffee, AJ, milk, HB eggs, oatmeal cream pies (? A favorite, but never before seen at breakfast) waffles, and honey buns. Meh. The area around seemed great for walking, but the side walks were on the OPPOSITE side of the street and ended suddenly. Mosquitoes out in droves, other wise there was a great little park for littles just 4 blocks away.

This property is fine for the price point. The rooms are a bit outdated but typically clean. They do however have smoking areas right outside both the front and back door which can be a bit annoying at times otherwise for a night or two it’s worth the price.

The air conditioner in our room was broken. I was told to unplug it from the top outlet and plug it in to the bottom outlet. There was only one outlet so I was told to unplug it and plug it back in so it could “reset” itself. This air conditioner didn’t even have a thermostat. Eventually I just requested a different room. Both rooms were extremely damp and musty like the basement of an old home. The smell burned my nostrils. The bedding even had a damp feel to it. Surely there are better options nearby. I was looking for something less expensive. You get what you pay for.

I would never stay here again, and would not choose any Super 8 again after this experience. The whole place smelled strongly of an unpleasant air “freshener.” I don’t know whether it was meant to be festive, as I stayed near Christmas, or was covering other smells. It was so strong, even in my room, that it was hard to sleep. I could smell it on my clothes when I left. The condition of the room itself was surprisingly bad. The towel rack and the heat-A/C unit were falling off the wall. The desk chair was visibly stained with brown residue. There were only two small pillows on the bed. There were insufficient outlets or even usb ports on the lights. The carpet and other upholstery were grungy. The night desk clerk was unfriendly, although the checkout clerk in the morning was more personable. It was so hard to believe the state of the place when other reviews were so good. I actually double checked that I had booked the right hotel. I was really surprised and disappointed at my experience.

Place was fine. Neither great nor bad. Hallway smelled of weed. Our room (non smoking) definitely had a hint of weed and smoke smell to it. My pillow had a purple monster sticker stuck to the case. Tells me they don’t clean super well. Bed was too firm for my preference. Front desk staff was nice! Checkin was smooth and easy.

The rooms could use a paint update. Clean quiet and comfortable. The staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful. We had a great night sleep that was most important while spending long days driving

Reasonably priced, and clean property. However, they took out their closets and replaced with shower hooks. So there’s no place to properly hang your clothes. It’s literally a towel hook, so bring your own hangers. What a horrible concept. When we got there, the toilet was stopped up, so we went downstairs to report it and get it fixed. What did the owner do? He handed us a plunger. We won’t be staying there again. It used to be great.

This hotel had that cheap and lack of standards feel. No wardrobe closet, no chair for the desk, empty soap wrappers on the bathroom floor behind the door, metal framing sticking out under the comforter it was the queen size mattress in a king frame so only banged my shin once. Lots of people running in and out all night. The continental breakfast basically non existent, been on a number of different continents in my life vacationing, and military and don’t recall any breakfasts being remotely close to their definition. Guess it’s hit or miss since the last one I stayed at was very nice.

It was a convenient place to stop on the way. The staff was friendly and the location just off the thruway was nice. The bed we stayed in had a slight slope to it on the left side. The water pressure was good and the breakfast was decent as well.

Breakfast is very simple, no de-caf coffee, no. hot water had to ask for the instant oatmeal. Old hotel but remodeled. Staff never at front desk. Bed was comfortable. Outlet on lamp poor connection. No wash cloths had to use hand towels. Two restaurants next to hotel you can walk to. Good location, don’t hear interstate traffic.

Arrived at Hotel around 12:30 PM and was told I could not check-in until 3:00 PM. My wife was not feeling well so I could wait to check-in. Disappointed that they would not make an exception. I'm sure they had rooms at that time.

Well maintained facility, friendly staff, Mexican restaurant almost directly across the street, Love's gas station a block away. Other dining choices nearby and easy access to I-70. I got great deal with an Expedia discount, was well worth the amount I paid. Breakfast was not much but for a quick overnight stay and discounted price it was suffice.

I was very disappointed with our stay. From the moment we arrived, there was a constant smell of marijuana throughout the lobby, which was unpleasant and unwelcoming. The breakfast was below average , very limited options and not well maintained. But the worst part was that we stayed for three nights and there was absolutely no closet or even a place to hang our dress clothes and suits. It was incredibly inconvenient and honestly embarrassing, especially since we were attending an event. Overall, this location needs serious improvement in cleanliness, amenities, and management oversight. I would not recommend it to anyone expecting even basic comfort or professionalism.

A very nice affordable option for me and my hunting buddies. Room was roomy and very comfortable. We had to hit the road by 4:00 am and they made sure we had coffee and waffles etc before we left. Exceptional!

Clean. Staff very polite and accommodating. Better service/stocking needed in breakfast area, especially coffee. How can you offer complimentary breakfast and never have the coffee containers filled. I tried to get coffee 3 times during breakfast and canisters needed to be filled. Disappointing

My experience with Super 8 motels has not been hood so my expectations were not set high for this Greenville, IL motel. I was very pleasantly pleased with the red headed mam who checked me in…and the man who checked me out in the morning. The place needs a face lift, it’s run down. The room was clean and acceptable (I am fussy). The breakfast area in the morning was messy. Tables weren’t wiped. Cereal scattered about. The cloth chairs in the lobby need need a cleaning. I would stay again, for a night, if need be. Price was good for the experience.
