The hot tub water was dirty, both wife and I came back with rashes. We realized they don’t change the water between guests. Also, the stairs were narrow and slippery as we witnessed multiple falls. I slipped and fell down about 8 steps and had a huge contusion on my butt. The breakfast was nice tho.

We had the Junior suite with a jacuzzi which didn’t work efficiently. The overall room was clean however there is not much privacy. Guest had to cut through our patio balcony area to get to their room. There are a lot of steps so limit your time back and forth to your room unless you love stairs. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing!

We stayed 8 nights and wouldn’t return. The main front desk woman was extremely rude eye rolls and sighs over simple requests like extra toilet paper. The pool is tiny (6–10 people max) and closes after sunset, which was really disappointing. Breakfast was beautiful with excellent food and the sweetest server, but staff keep a printed list of guests’ names, mark who attends, and if you skip, they ask why the next day felt uncomfortably intrusive, especially when we were jet lagged. We booked a cave suite but were initially given the smallest room. when we asked for the one we paid for, they seemed annoyed. The many stairs weren’t the issue the problem was how dangerously slippery they are, with no railings. Both of us slipped multiple times, and even staff did. It’s extremely dangerous. The hotel is very small and intimate. Staff and even other guests asked why we skipped breakfast. Rooms don’t block sound well, so conversations can be overheard really easily. The views are stunning so it was nice to avoid sunset crowds. Downsides: no robes, slippers, irons, uncomfortable beds, overly intimate atmosphere, slippery stairs, tiny pool, and unfriendly reception. AC worked well, and our poolside room was convenient, but for the price and rating, I expected more luxury and professionalism. My boyfriend and I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately.

This property was absolutely gorgeous. Yes there are a few stairs to access but that’s the price you pay for a million dollar view. It is generally quiet with only ever a handful of people around the pool. The breakfast is generous and had many options. Sitting poolside in the sun taking in the view was the highlight.

They customer service was excellent. We arranged transportation though the hotel which was very easy. They reached out to us and coordinated everything. The porters also brought our stuff to our room. The hot tub could be a little bit warmer but it’s a fixed temperature. Overall great service and location. Warning, there are a few sets of stairs to get to the hotel.

The breakfast was great and the view was beautiful! However, they had an energy issue when we arrived, so we couldn't use the shower, TV, bathtub, etc. The next day, the bathtub was still not working—in fact, it didn’t work at all during our stay. The staff said it was because of the wind, but it was actually due to the power outage, so it would’ve been better if they had just told us the truth. There isn’t a proper space for breakfast—you have to sit at small tables around the pool or bring it to your room. That said, the staff was very friendly, and they let us check out a little later at no extra charge, which gave us time to enjoy a sunny day before our flight.

Premium in name but definitely not in feel. Aside from the large size of the suite, the rooms are extremely basic with minimal amenities. The hot tub was barely hot, and the temperature can't be changed as previoys reviews said. It was also very dirty with lots of dirt on the tiles surrounding the tub and a lot of debris in the water as well. The bathroom is extremely small and the shower has no door or curtain so the entire bathroom gets wet. Also very noisy - you can hear the neighbours very clearly. The pool is small but luckily I was pretty much the only one using it at the times I went. Can't imagine how crowded it'll be in the summer though. Lots of stairs as others mentioned, however the hotel porter's were amazing. They carried our very heavy suitcases to and from the bus stop for us. Definitely regretted moving from my cheaper but amazing accommodation in Thira to this one.

Water on the “ hot tub” never warmed up I had previously told the staff we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary to which they promised a nice welcoming note to make it special, it never happened. Breakfast was delicious but pretty much the same thing every day Breakfast lady was sweet!

We stayed as a group of 4 for one night at a Family suite. The place was very clean, stylish and the beds a dream. Check in and Breakfast was great. The pool to not for swimming in but that is to be expected at a location like this and so are the stairs. The porters do an amazing job! If you ever go to Santorini treat yourself to a place like this. It’s worth the memories 😊

If you’re looking for a hotel with the Santorini view, this is it. The hotel itself is beautiful. Hanging off the cliff, white, cave like. Room was spacious. There were a couple of issues with the room; shower was backing up & toilet seat kept coming off when sat on. It was disappointing for the price paid. Staff was welcoming upon arrival, then they disappear. There are several steps to get to the hotel. If you’re physically challenged in any way, this can be dangerous & difficult. Porters will carry your luggage for you, but be sure they carry not drag on the cobblestone streets as it will ruin your luggage wheels. Breakfast was ok, the view made up for it. The location of Ouia is very busy & touristy. If I did it again I would stay in Fira.

The hotel rooms are located down some steps off the main Street, with spectacular views of the Caldera and the cliff face. The room was very clean. Mine had a little sofa & table outside the door, whilst others had sun loungers & umbrellas. The porters are wonderful and carry your luggage from the bus station / car park for you on arrival and departure. If you want to be in the heart of Oia, this is a great place to stay.

The hotel was fantastic! The ocean view is stunning, the staff was great, and the property was immaculate. We had a room with a balcony facing the ocean and practically had to force ourselves to leave the room everyday. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold options. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. All of hotel staff were professional and ready to assist the guests. There were only two cons to the hotel, the internet connection and the stairs. The internet connection was not very strong and had to be reset for us because it stopped working at one point. The receptionist quickly responded when we called and fixed it. The second issue is the stone steps leading to the hotel. Some of the steps are at an incline, which are a problem when making your way down. Some of the stones are also smooth and can make it easy to slip. They are not for the weak! The stairs in the hotel property are fine. You can contact the hotel before you arrive and ask for assistance with luggage. They will bring them down the stairs for you. Would we stay here again? YES! I hope this review helps. Happy travels!

This property is a must stay. The views are truly unbeatable for Oia, and the central location is unmatched. Right in the center of the town, everything is close by. The property is quiet, homey, well maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Porters are extremely hard working and helpful. But perhaps the best thing is the complementary breakfasts in the morning. The food is fresh, plentiful, and healthy. Very similar to a bread and breakfast. But the host is the highlight of every morning. She always greets you with a smile, helps you with everything you need, and makes every morning start the Santorini way. Truly the highlight of our stay. Altogether, this property make itself a must stay, and rest assured the next time we come to Santorini, we will be back.

I am somewhat conflicted on what to rate this property. I ended up giving it three stars solely based on my room. Had we gotten a different room, I think that would have changed the entire experience and I would have rated it five stars.

The hotel itself had an amazing view. Other than the rock-hard bed that caused a lot of back pain, the room itself was great. However, to get to the property, you have to climb down a ton of sloped, slippery stairs made from cobblestones with no rails to hold on to. There was not a single time I climbed up or down the stars that I didn't slip multiple times - same for my husband. I strained my thigh at the very beginning. The stairs made us not want to leave the room except once a day for dinner. I know the listing says no elevator, but there is no indication of these very dangerous steps. Climbing a regular flight of stairs might be doable for someone with mobility issues, but these stairs were far from that. While the hotel does have porters that assist with the baggage, one seemed very offput and was rude when I tipped him for the help. While this hotel is beautiful and romantic, the stairs are enough to deter me from a repeat stay.

However, to get to the property, you have to climb down a ton of sloped, slippery stairs made from cobblestones with no rails to hold on to. There was not a single time I climbed up or down the stars that I didn't slip multiple times - same for my husband. I strained my thigh at the very beginning. The stairs made us not want to leave the room except once a day for dinner. I know the listing says no elevator, but there is no indication of these very dangerous steps. Climbing a regular flight of stairs might be doable for someone with mobility issues, but these stairs were far from that. While the hotel does have porters that assist with the baggage, one seemed very offput and was rude when I tipped him for the help. While this hotel is beautiful and romantic, the stairs are enough to deter me from a repeat stay.

The views from this property are spectacular! The room was spacious, quiet & well equipped. It was a "cave" type room, but the door had a half window & there was another small window so I it did not feel claustrophobic. The location was very convenient to all the shopping and restaurants in Oia.

As others mentioned there’s many stairs to get to this place so keep that in mind. The stairs are very steep. Otherwise the views are really nice and you are in the center and walkable to many places. However I find the pictures on the site very misleading. We had booked a premium suite with a balcony and the staff gave us a room with no balcony. Our only window was facing the common area of the pool. When I asked reception about this she said that out of the premium suites which was 5, only one of the rooms had a balcony like in the pictures. I find it very misleading as you pay more for the premium to have this and it’s not mentioned anywhere. We ended up being lucky and able to change our room the next day for the one with the balcony so I feel we got our moneys worth. The room was also nicer than the other one. The staff was very nice in setting us up with transportation when we needed it.

The hotel was fantastic! The ocean view is stunning, the staff was great, and the property was immaculate. We had a room with a balcony facing the ocean and practically had to force ourselves to leave the room everyday. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold options. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. All of hotel staff were professional and ready to assist the guests. There were only two cons to the hotel, the internet connection and the stairs. The internet connection was not very strong and had to be reset for us because it stopped working at one point. The receptionist quickly responded when we called and fixed it. The second issue is the stone steps leading to the hotel. Some of the steps are at an incline, which are a problem when making your way down. Some of the stones are also smooth and can make it easy to slip. They are not for the weak! The stairs in the hotel property are fine. We really enjoyed the unique “cave” experience of staying at this hotel. We were there for three nights. The location was perfect as middle of Oia and easy access to the main walkway. A couple of things you should know. 1) there are quite a few steps down from the main path to the hotel so coming back up required a reasonable climb (A few flights of stairs). It wasn’t excessive and likely very normal for hilly Santorini but just be aware before booking. (This is not meant as a negative comment). 2) There are no windows (except on the door). You get a great view of the water from outside on the landing. From the bedrooms there is minimal natural light. Overall I was very happy with our stay at Caldera Premium Villa.

I have been lucky to travel alot of places, and i would put this close to the mosr amazing place i have ever stayed. Not only is the view unbeatable but the staff are beyond helpful with 24 hr service even helping us carry our bags at 4am for a flight! The location is right in the heart of oia close to all shops and resstaurants. The breakfast is delish, the pool is gorgeous and the room is suprisingly big and comfortable as well as being stunning. The staff went above and beyond for us, when our second accomodation fell through not only did they help us ring about 6 different numbers to get an answer but they got us 2 extra nights at the hotel (lucky it was out of peak season).saving us so much stress and adding to this amazing experience Do yourself a favour and book this place.

We stayed 8 nights and wouldn’t return. The main front desk woman was extremely rude eye rolls and sighs over simple requests like extra toilet paper. The pool is tiny (6–10 people max) and closes after sunset, which was really disappointing. Breakfast was beautiful with excellent food and the sweetest server, but staff keep a printed list of guests’ names, mark who attends, and if you skip, they ask why the next day felt uncomfortably intrusive, especially when we were jet lagged. We booked a cave suite but were initially given the smallest room. when we asked for the one we paid for, they seemed annoyed. The many stairs weren’t the issue the problem was how dangerously slippery they are, with no railings. Both of us slipped multiple times, and even staff did. It’s extremely dangerous. The hotel is very small and intimate. Staff and even other guests asked why we skipped breakfast. Rooms don’t block sound well, so conversations can be overheard really easily. The views are stunning so it was nice to avoid sunset crowds. Downsides: no robes, slippers, irons, uncomfortable beds, overly intimate atmosphere, slippery stairs, tiny pool, and unfriendly reception. AC worked well, and our poolside room was convenient, but for the price and rating, I expected more luxury and professionalism. My boyfriend and I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately.

This property had the most spectacular views! The staff went above and beyond to help us - arranging pick up and drop off at the airport. The man who ported our bags up and down the steep steps was amazing! You need to make sure you can navigate steep steps if you stay here - it is a caldera and goes way down.

My husband and I booked Caldera to celebrate our honeymoon! The staff was very courteous. They had porters to carry our luggage in and out as there were stairs to get to our villa. Reception helped arrange airport shuttles. Daily breakfast was a nice perk and the views from the room were fantastic. We had a hot tub in our room and enjoyed soaking and laying in the lounge chairs. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance to choose from and all of the ones we ate at had amazing food and service. Some include Skiza pizza and Strogili. Hotel is beautiful, location is perfect. But there's power outages for a couple of hours at night during our stay. Phone in the room doesn't work (they know phone won't work when there's no power), but no help offered. I used my cell phone to call their international number from their welcome folder, it didn't work either. I had to walk in the dark to the office, it's not safe at night, you can slip. The girl in the office was pretty rude. She said nothing she could do and she didn't know how long it would take. She sounds like it's my fault not to know these things. Someone said I can ask for emergency lights, and I have to ask, and she gave me. I wish they should come to our rooms and provide us with emergency lights once they know it would take a while.

It was beautiful! Excellent location! Incredible views! The pool was a refreshing spot to relax after a morning or afternoon of exploring. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety. The bed and pillows were comfortable. They arranged transfers for us from the airport then to the port. Many many shops and restaurants all around us. My only heads up would be that there are quite a few steps that aren't that easy to go up and down, so if you are unsteady, be careful. Otherwise, it was the perfect place for my husband and me to spend a few days. Thank you Caldera!!

My boyfriend and I loved our cave room. It’s pretty brutal walking up and down the stairs to our hotel, but understand it’s part of the Santorini experience and they have people who carry your bags back to your room. Great location directly in Oia close to everything.

This hotel's location was convenient—in the heart of the Main Street of Oia. I felt completely safe in this area during the day and night. The property was clean, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and accessible. Lastly, the view from the hotel of the caldera was beautiful. I did not have any issues during my stay. I will definitely come back again!

Super Lage in Santorini und das Zimmer genauso wie auf den Fotos erwartet - toller Service und damit rundum weiterzuempfehlen! Das Frühstück kommt der Exklusivität der Anlage nicht nach und ist eher dürftig, vllt. lieber in Oia selber frühstücken gehen. Ein Hinweis: der vom Hotel organisierte Transfer hat uns gar nicht gefallen, am Flughafen kann man ohne Vorbestellung direkt selber einen privaten Service in Anspruch nehmen und der war viel besser.

This property was absolutely gorgeous. Yes there are a few stairs to access but that’s the price you pay for a million dollar view. It is generally quiet with only ever a handful of people around the pool. The breakfast is generous and had many options. Sitting poolside in the sun taking in the view was the highlight.

Ein toller Urlaub mit einer Traumaussicht. Die Anlage ist in einer super Lage. Das Frühstück hätte etwas vielfältiger sein können. Aber das Personal sowie der Zustand des Hotels waren top. Oia ist ein sehr schöner und ruhiger Ort. Wenn man mehr Lautstärke und Möglichkeiten haben möchte feiern zu gehen, ist Fira zu empfehlen. Aber wir haben die ruhige Atmosphäre in Oia sehr genoßen.
Ein toller Urlaub mit einer Traumaussicht. Die Anlage ist in einer super Lage. Das Frühstück hätte etwas vielfältiger sein können. Aber das Personal sowie der Zustand des Hotels waren top. The hotel was fantastic! The ocean view is stunning, the staff was great, and the property was immaculate. We had a room with a balcony facing the ocean and practically had to force ourselves to leave the room everyday. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold options. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. All of hotel staff were professional and ready to assist the guests. There were only two cons to the hotel, the internet connection and the stairs. The internet connection was not very strong and had to be reset for us because it stopped working at one point. The receptionist quickly responded when we called and fixed it. The second issue is the stone steps leading to the hotel. Some of the steps are at an incline, which are a problem when making your way down. Some of the stones are also smooth and can make it easy to slip. They are not for the weak! The stairs in the hotel property are fine. You can contact the hotel before you arrive and ask for assistance with luggage. They will bring them down the stairs for you. Would we stay here again? YES! I hope this review helps. Happy travels!

Water on the “ hot tub” never warmed up I had previously told the staff we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary to which they promised a nice welcoming note to make it special, it never happened. Breakfast was delicious but pretty much the same thing every day Breakfast lady was sweet!

This property is a must stay. The views are truly unbeatable for Oia, and the central location is unmatched. Right in the center of the town, everything is close by. The property is quiet, homey, well maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Porters are extremely hard working and helpful. But perhaps the best thing is the complementary breakfasts in the morning. The food is fresh, plentiful, and healthy. Very similar to a bread and breakfast. But the host is the highlight of every morning. She always greets you with a smile, helps you with everything you need, and makes every morning start the Santorini way. Truly the highlight of our stay. Altogether, this property make itself a must stay, and rest assured the next time we come to Santorini, we will be back.

Probably the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed at - the views were absolutely incredible. The room was clean and spacious, the staff very welcoming and helpful and the pool was also lovely. I don't know what we would have done without the incredibly helpful staff arranging our port & airport transfer and luggage assistance - highly recommend booking the hotel transfer as accessing the beautiful hotel without luggage assistance would have been difficult, so the transfer is 100% worth it. This was the perfect stay for our one night in Santorini.
