This hotel was perfect for our family ski trip!! The apres-ski facilities were wonderful -- pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. (The water temperature in the hot tub needed to be warmer though.) The breakfast and evening meals far exceeded our expectations -- wonderful table service, great variety, and lots of healthy vegetarian and vegan options. Every member of staff was superb -- polite, professional, friendly, and fun!

The hotel itself is wonderful. The room was clean, spacious, modern and comfortable with a beautiful view of the snowy mountains. The staff were attentive and friendly. My only recommendations would be for the indoor pool to be warmer and for more variety for children’s dinners.

This is our second time coming to this hotel. We found it quite lovely, however we could see some downgrades from last year in terms of food. The cafe was closed the entire time. The spa has a bit of a smell and the pillows and duvet are not the best. I think they can improve on that. The staff is friendly and everyone speaks English, that was great. The room is spacious and has lots of storage. They have an amazing ski depot which is wonderful and the ski in and out is fantastic. Overall the experience was pleasant but unfortunately I don’t think I would be a regular guest.

I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but felt it wouldn’t be fair. Here is a detailed review: hotel reception and facilities all get 5 stars. The restaurant has good selection of food options and quality is high but they charge 4.5 euros for tap water so 4 stars for the restaurant. I understand that this happens in Austria but in such up market hotel I expected better. They were generous with fruits and we found apple everywhere. The cafe was brilliant after ski. Peter who served us twice was fantastic. We ordered ham and cheese toast and beer and it was amazing. He is friendly and helpful. 5 stars go to the cafe for sure. Spa was amazing and choices of saunas and swimming pools and also sauna program by Rita was amazing so 5 stars there. They also have nibbles at the spa which is great. We didn’t try the massage service but prices seemed reasonable. The ski hire and storage were well organized and super convenient so definitely 5 stars. Sheki at ski hire was super knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were also good and comfortable but one issue and that is what super hot. So it gets 4 stars. Room cleaning was prompt and amazing and two issues we had was fixed immediately so 5 stars there. Overall a pleasant hotel which we loved and enjoyed our time

Great hotel, room was very modern, clean and comfortable with beautiful Mountain views. Great location, near ski lifts and ski bus across the road. Breakfast was excellent, wide range of options, 6 courses at dinner was excellent. Afternoon snack was delicious too and great for when you come off the slopes. Loved the spa especially the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Dressing gown slippers and towels provided. Will definitely be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Staff at the reception, bar and restaurant were outstanding. The breakfast and dinner were both generous and had a wide selection. The ski storage area and the easy access to the lift were fantastic. The only two things that could be improved are the wine selection in the bar and raising the temperature a bit in the outside warm pool

Lage direkt an der Skipiste - perfekt. Super Zimmergröße und liebes/ freundliches Personal. Leider hat es im Bad stark nach Abfluss gerochen, was auch diverse Duftstäbchen nicht vertuschen konnten. Stellplätze in der Tiefgarage sind sehr eng für große Autos und dafür in Relation recht teuer, aber Lademöglichkeit für E-Autos ist vorhanden.

Fremragende hotel, med en fantastisk sød receptionist som serverede dejlige bobler og juice til ungerne ved ankomsten. Dejligt værelse med alle fornødenheder og en skøn dobbeltseng, sovesofaen var knap så god, der var madrassen til den tynde side. Lækker restaurant, hvor der var en skøn morgenmadsbuffet og super sødt personale. Aftensmaden var meget lækker, startende med dagens suppe og en salatbuffet, forret og til hovedret stod valget imellem en kødret, fiskeret eller en vegansk ret, desserten var skøn og der var et dejligt vinkort. Personalet var meget venlige og opmærlsomme, de var søde til at spørge om vi manglede noget, de var snakkesalige overfor ungerne og gjorde generelt bare et virkeligt godt arbejde for at søge for, at vi havde det godt og ikke manglede noget. I særdeleshed kan nævnes vores mandlige Spanske tjener og vores kvindelige Venezuelske tjener - tak fordi I sørgede så godt for os. Wellnessområdet var dejligt stort, men kun for børn over 15 år, så vores datter kunne ikke nyde det sammen med os. Stor indendørs pool og en vidunderlig udendørs pool med den mest fantastisk udsigt over Alperne, hvor der stadigvæk var sne på toppene.

Unser Aufenthalt im Grand Deluxe Zimmer mit Halbpension war großartig. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll mit einer Mischung aus Holz und moderner Einrichtung gestaltet, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen haben uns das gemütliche Bett, die getrennten Bereiche für Toilette und Bad, sowie die bodenebene Dusche und Badewanne. Einzig das langsame Ablaufen des Wassers im Waschbecken der Toilette fiel negativ auf. Das Essen war herausragend. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker, das Abendessen jeden Tag ein Highlight. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Qualität der Produkte und die kreative Anrichtung der Gerichte. Die Lage ist perfekt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in die umliegenden Städte. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

Zimmer war geräumig und modern ohne kalt zu wirken. Wellnessbereich mit mehreren Saunen einem Innen- und einem Aussenpool wirkte modern und sauber. Ein Ort zum Wiederkommen, wenn da nicht die viel zu weichen Matratzen gewesen wären. An einen erholsamen Schlaf war da nicht zu denken und an die Rückenschmerzen tags darauf mag ich gerne verzichten.

Review: VAYA Obergurgl I’ve stayed at VAYA Obergurgl a couple of times now, and while the hotel remains completely sufficient for what you need—clean, comfortable, and well-located—I can’t help but feel the quality has dipped, particularly when it comes to the dining experience. The food just doesn’t quite meet the standard it once did, which is a bit disappointing. Still a solid option, but not quite as polished as it used to be.

Obwohl Check-in um 16:00 Uhr angegeben war, wurde uns unser Zimmer um 16:45 Uhr übergeben. Check-out recht früh um 10:00 Uhr!!! Es gab auch keine Kompensation hierfür. Kein nächstes Mal! Die Unterkunft ist ganz gut. Leider waren alle einige Gegenstände nicht ganz in Ordnung. Das Schlafsofa war etwas ausgeleiert und ein von zwei Fernseher funktionierte nicht.
Obwohl Check-in um 16:00 Uhr angegeben war, wurde uns unser Zimmer um 16:45 Uhr übergeben. Check-out recht früh um 10:00 Uhr!!! Es gab auch keine Kompensation hierfür. Kein nächstes Mal! Die Unterkunft ist ganz gut. Leider waren alle einige Gegenstände nicht ganz in Ordnung. Das Schlafsofa war etwas ausgeleiert und ein von zwei Fernseher funktionierte nicht.

Die Suite, die wir gebucht haben, war in Ordnung und hat unsere Vorstellungen sogar übertroffen. Hierbwürde ich eine 1bis 2 vergeben. Nur im Restaurantbereich ist noch viel Luft nach oben möglich. Hier würde ich eine drei vergeben Die Fensterscheiben im Restaurantbereich waren vollkommen verdreckt.So etwas habe ich noch nie gesehen

Zimmer war geräumig und modern ohne kalt zu wirken. Wellnessbereich mit mehreren Saunen einem Innen- und einem Aussenpool wirkte modern und sauber. Ein Ort zum Wiederkommen, wenn da nicht die viel zu weichen Matratzen gewesen wären. An einen erholsamen Schlaf war da nicht zu denken und an die Rückenschmerzen tags darauf mag ich gerne verzichten.

The hotel itself is wonderful. The room was clean, spacious, modern and comfortable with a beautiful view of the snowy mountains. The staff were attentive and friendly. My only recommendations would be for the indoor pool to be warmer and for more variety for children’s dinners.

Obwohl Check-in um 16:00 Uhr angegeben war, wurde uns unser Zimmer um 16:45 Uhr übergeben. Check-out recht früh um 10:00 Uhr!!! Es gab auch keine Kompensation hierfür. Kein nächstes Mal! Die Unterkunft ist ganz gut. Leider waren alle einige Gegenstände nicht ganz in Ordnung. Das Schlafsofa war etwas ausgeleiert und ein von zwei Fernseher funktionierte nicht.

I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but felt it wouldn’t be fair. Here is a detailed review: hotel reception and facilities all get 5 stars. The restaurant has good selection of food options and quality is high but they charge 4.5 euros for tap water so 4 stars for the restaurant. I understand that this happens in Austria but in such up market hotel I expected better. They were generous with fruits and we found apple everywhere. The cafe was brilliant after ski. Peter who served us twice was fantastic. We ordered ham and cheese toast and beer and it was amazing. He is friendly and helpful. 5 stars go to the cafe for sure. Spa was amazing and choices of saunas and swimming pools and also sauna program by Rita was amazing so 5 stars there. They also have nibbles at the spa which is great. We didn’t try the massage service but prices seemed reasonable. The ski hire and storage were well organized and super convenient so definitely 5 stars. Sheki at ski hire was super knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were also good and comfortable but one issue and that is what super hot. So it gets 4 stars. Room cleaning was prompt and amazing and two issues we had was fixed immediately so 5 stars there. Overall a pleasant hotel which we loved and enjoyed our time

Great hotel, room was very modern, clean and comfortable with beautiful Mountain views. Great location, near ski lifts and ski bus across the road. Breakfast was excellent, wide range of options, 6 courses at dinner was excellent. Afternoon snack was delicious too and great for when you come off the slopes. Loved the spa especially the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Dressing gown slippers and towels provided. Will definitely be back.

Lage direkt an der Skipiste - perfekt. Super Zimmergröße und liebes/ freundliches Personal. Leider hat es im Bad stark nach Abfluss gerochen, was auch diverse Duftstäbchen nicht vertuschen konnten. Stellplätze in der Tiefgarage sind sehr eng für große Autos und dafür in Relation recht teuer, aber Lademöglichkeit für E-Autos ist vorhanden.

Fremragende hotel, med en fantastisk sød receptionist som serverede dejlige bobler og juice til ungerne ved ankomsten. Dejligt værelse med alle fornødenheder og en skøn dobbeltseng, sovesofaen var knap så god, der var madrassen til den tynde side. Lækker restaurant, hvor der var en skøn morgenmadsbuffet og super sødt personale. Aftensmaden var meget lækker, startende med dagens suppe og en salatbuffet, forret og til hovedret stod valget imellem en kødret, fiskeret eller en vegansk ret, desserten var skøn og der var et dejligt vinkort. Personalet var meget venlige og opmærlsomme, de var søde til at spørge om vi manglede noget, de var snakkesalige overfor ungerne og gjorde generelt bare et virkeligt godt arbejde for at søge for, at vi havde det godt og ikke manglede noget. I særdeleshed kan nævnes vores mandlige Spanske tjener og vores kvindelige Venezuelske tjener - tak fordi I sørgede så godt for os. Wellnessområdet var dejligt stort, men kun for børn over 15 år, så vores datter kunne ikke nyde det sammen med os. Stor indendørs pool og en vidunderlig udendørs pool med den mest fantastisk udsigt over Alperne, hvor der stadigvæk var sne på toppene.

Bestemt et godt hotel med venligt personalet. Vi boede også i et værelse med fantastisk udsigt. Prisen var dog for høj ift. kvaliteten/stedet. der var ekstremt varmt på vores værelse. Vi fik med hjælp slukket for gulvvarmen men måtte åbne terrasse dørene i løbet af dagen specielt på soveværelset da vi fik hovedpine af varmen.
Bestemt et godt hotel med venligt personalet. Vi boede også i et værelse med fantastisk udsigt. Prisen var dog for høj ift. kvaliteten/stedet. der var ekstremt varmt på vores værelse. This hotel was perfect for our family ski trip!! The apres-ski facilities were wonderful -- pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. (The water temperature in the hot tub needed to be warmer though.) The breakfast and evening meals far exceeded our expectations -- wonderful table service, great variety, and lots of healthy vegetarian and vegan options. Every member of staff was superb -- polite, professional, friendly, and fun!

In Österreich teilweise nur englischsprachigen Service anzubieten ist für mich eine inakzeptabel. Die Garage ist eine Farce, hier wurden uns dann zumindest die Parkgebühr erlassen.

Das Hotel ist sehr modern, der Wellness Bereich hat insgesamt 3 Pools und viele Saunen. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist das Personal. Keine deutsch sprechenden Mitarbeiter. Selbst Englisch war an der Rezeption schwierig, da die Mitarbeiterin Holländerin war. Auch im Restaurant Bereich nur englisch sprechendes Personal.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Staff at the reception, bar and restaurant were outstanding. The breakfast and dinner were both generous and had a wide selection. The ski storage area and the easy access to the lift were fantastic. Das Hotel Punktet vor allem für die direkte Lage am Skilift. Dennoch hätten wir uns für den Preis im Bezug vom Service (zb einem Willkommens Drink oder dem Servieren von Kaffee und Tee beim Frühstück) erwartet. Leider wurde auch die Nachmittagsjause ab geschaffen.

Unser Aufenthalt im Grand Deluxe Zimmer mit Halbpension war großartig. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll mit einer Mischung aus Holz und moderner Einrichtung gestaltet, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen haben uns das gemütliche Bett, die getrennten Bereiche für Toilette und Bad, sowie die bodenebene Dusche und Badewanne. Einzig das langsame Ablaufen des Wassers im Waschbecken der Toilette fiel negativ auf. Das Essen war herausragend. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker, das Abendessen jeden Tag ein Highlight. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Qualität der Produkte und die kreative Anrichtung der Gerichte. Die Lage ist perfekt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in die umliegenden Städte. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

This is our second time coming to this hotel. We found it quite lovely, however we could see some downgrades from last year in terms of food. The cafe was closed the entire time. The spa has a bit of a smell and the pillows and duvet are not the best. I think they can improve on that. The staff is friendly and everyone speaks English, that was great. The room is spacious and has lots of storage. They have an amazing ski depot which is wonderful and the ski in and out is fantastic. Overall the experience was pleasant but unfortunately I don’t think I would be a regular guest.

This hotel was perfect for our family ski trip!! The apres-ski facilities were wonderful -- pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. (The water temperature in the hot tub needed to be warmer though.) The breakfast and evening meals far exceeded our expectations -- wonderful table service, great variety, and lots of healthy vegetarian and vegan options. Every member of staff was superb -- polite, professional, friendly, and fun!

This is our second time coming to this hotel. We found it quite lovely, however we could see some downgrades from last year in terms of food. The cafe was closed the entire time. The spa has a bit of a smell and the pillows and duvet are not the best. I think they can improve on that. The staff is friendly and everyone speaks English, that was great. The room is spacious and has lots of storage. They have an amazing ski depot which is wonderful and the ski in and out is fantastic. Overall the experience was pleasant but unfortunately I don’t think I would be a regular guest.

We had a wonderful stay at the Crystal VAYA, the hotel was lovely. However, at the dinner services we were shocked that we were charged €4.50 for every 750 ml bottle of tap water! To add insult to injury the dining room had a cold water tap that was switched off for the evening service forcing the overpriced tap water to be the only option for guests. Completely unacceptable particularly when already being charged a lot of money for half board.

I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but felt it wouldn’t be fair. Here is a detailed review: hotel reception and facilities all get 5 stars. The restaurant has good selection of food options and quality is high but they charge 4.5 euros for tap water so 4 stars for the restaurant. I understand that this happens in Austria but in such up market hotel I expected better. They were generous with fruits and we found apple everywhere. The cafe was brilliant after ski. Peter who served us twice was fantastic. We ordered ham and cheese toast and beer and it was amazing. He is friendly and helpful. 5 stars go to the cafe for sure. Spa was amazing and choices of saunas and swimming pools and also sauna program by Rita was amazing so 5 stars there. They also have nibbles at the spa which is great. We didn’t try the massage service but prices seemed reasonable. The ski hire and storage were well organized and super convenient so definitely 5 stars. Sheki at ski hire was super knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were also good and comfortable but one issue and that is what super hot. So it gets 4 stars. Room cleaning was prompt and amazing and two issues we had was fixed immediately so 5 stars there. Overall a pleasant hotel which we loved and enjoyed our time

Great hotel, room was very modern, clean and comfortable with beautiful Mountain views. Great location, near ski lifts and ski bus across the road. Breakfast was excellent, wide range of options, 6 courses at dinner was excellent. Afternoon snack was delicious too and great for when you come off the slopes. Loved the spa especially the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Dressing gown slippers and towels provided. Will definitely be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Staff at the reception, bar and restaurant were outstanding. The breakfast and dinner were both generous and had a wide selection. The ski storage area and the easy access to the lift were fantastic. The only two things that could be improved are the wine selection in the bar and raising the temperature a bit in the outside warm pool

We have just finished a 5-day stay in a suite at Vaya The Crystal. We visited the hotel two years ago and were so impressed that we decided to return, this time with our child. Unfortunately, our recent experience did not live up to the high standards we remembered. The issues began upon arrival. We were directed to use the hotel’s underground parking garage, which was so steep that our car’s undercarriage scraped against the concrete. While the hotel helped us find an alternative spot afterward, we were left with a scratch under the car, which was a very poor start to our holiday.
