Very good comfortable beds. each dorm has it's own bathroom and toilet. towels and shampoo were also provided. Easy check in process. we could also leave the luggage in the luggage room for free of charge after we checkout. just 7-8 mins walk from Bahnhof, so good connectivity and lots of eateries at the Bahnhof. Only drawback was the guest kitchen was not clean and very few utensils.

Ottima la Posizione a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale di Vienna e dalla fermata Keplerplatz della U1. Nelle vicinanze numerosi supermercati, ristoranti e chioschi Buono il Wifi gratuito presente nelle camere. Ci sarebbe una cucina ad uso comune dove poter conservare i cibi (frigorifero) e cucinare (tramite piastra a induzione)e scaldare (tramite microonde) ... Ma le condizioni igieniche sono pessime. Piena di mosche ovunque.

If you are looking for a true hostel experience, Id give this a miss. Its really a glorified cheap hotel. Nothing wrong with that in itself but they are really lying when it says it has a kitchen and laundry, its basically name only. The kitchen is a small room in the basement. It consists of a small microwave, and a double electric hotplate. I saw a few glasses and 4 plates. Dont think you are going to be able to cook a decent meal here as you will be fighting with 50 other people for the wooden spoon. The fridge broke down as well and everyones food was spoiled including our own. The laundry room is one washing machine and one dryer in the hallway by the kitchen.The queue to wash clothes was all day everyday and I found myself doing drying at 1am as it was the only time i could get free. The general reception area was chaotic with about 3 members of staff who seemed to be working 24/7. There was a nice garden area but a rather burly security guard kicked everyone out at 9pm as it closes. On a map it looks like its close to the station. Technically it is, but the station is ENORMOUS and you will spend a good hour a day marching from one side to the other. In reality it must be a mile to the nearest U or tram stop once you have walked all round. Finally the rooms were fine. Clean, spacious and comfy. Nothing exceptional but a good clean room.

Stay was ok, we got a room with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. It was hot! There is no AC and not even any fans and I'm telling you, at least having a fan would go a really long way! ALso parking is an issue, we asked for parking however none was provided.

Structura nella media per quello che si paga, il piu garande problema per noi e stato il parcheggio che avevamo prenotato e non è stato disponibile. Ci hanno detto ce ci sono pochissimi parcheggi.

I specifically booked this hotel because it advertised parking facilities. But when I arrived the receptionist informed me that all parking spaces were taken and that I should have booked and paid in advance. This information was not stated anywhere during the booking process, and I feel this was misleading. When I entered my room, I was extremely disappointed to find that the beds had not been made. The pillows had no cases, and the mattresses had no sheets, which left me in the position of having to make my own bed when I came from a really exhausting 8 hour roadtrip. This is unacceptable, as I paid for a room that should have been prepared and ready for my stay.

Bettwäsche voll mit gelben Flecken, Müll im Bett und darunter. Staubig. Beim Frühstück kam keiner mit nachfüllen hinterher. Völlige Katastrophe war der aufzug. Mit Gepäck und Kinderwagen wollten wir nicht in den 5. Stock laufen. Aufzug fuhr zu langsam und wenn er mal aufmachte,war er voll. Meist mit Personal mit Wäschewagen,etc. Das ist einfach schlecht gelöst und der 2. Aufzug funktionierte nicht

They gave us the wrong room number at first and we were searching for it (was non-existent room). Waited for some hours to get our room. Only one person was doing the whole cleaning and was clearly overwhelmed with work. The rooms was quite dirty - I think they only has time to collect the trash and changed (hopefully) some bedsheets and blankets. The reception had also their hands full with work but were quite friendly and made an effort to help. Guest kitchen was quite dirty and not so welcoming. Playing corner for kids is quite dirty with few games (and screen) but the kids still loved it. One elevator was broken during our stay and we used the second one. Room door fell quite heavily so that you could hear a loud bang when someone closed their door on your floor. Room at 6th floor was very hot, we bought a few USB ventilators and it helped. But we couldn't sleep at night. Also because of the mattress. It was loud at night till 1am I think but not out of the ordinary. It was good to have some space to linger outside of the room (terrace, public area), also with TV to watch EM. General mood of the guests was good. Good cold water for summer days. Location was good. All in all the accommodations made our stay in Vienna a worse experience (but other activities were great so it was not catastrophic) and we won't be coming to this hostel anymore. We stayed at the other a&o hostel some times ago and it was good that's why we chose the same hostel chain again.

It was cheap. My bag was stolen from their "secure" luggage room and have been trying to get CCTV footage for insurance but they do not respond.

Die Sauberkeit des Hotels lässt mehr als zu Wünschen übrig. Die Tische im Frühstücksraum waren selbst morgens um 7 Uhr nicht sauber, vor dem Getränkeautomat klebte man regelrecht am Boden fest. Der Boden im Zimmer wurde nicht gründlich geputzt (kein Staubsauer?!) - wir fanden selbst am Tag unserer Abreise noch Haare auf dem Boden die nicht von uns waren. Das Personal des Hotels war sehr freundlich aber sichtlich überfordert.

Die Sauberkeit lässt im gesamten Hotel zu wünschen übrig. Die Betten waren wackelig und nicht sauber. Das Badezimmer war schmutzig - vorallem WC, Handtuchwärmer und Waschbecken. Im immer waren alle Möbel verstaubt. Die Bettwäsche hat Flecken aufgewiesen. Lüften des Zimmers war nicht möglich. Lärmbelastung durch zufallende Türen die ganze Nacht druchgehend Kaffeeautomat sowie Getränkeautomat in der Lobby waren nicht funktionsfähig

No sheets on the beds, shower was disgusting like it was never cleaned. Stains all over the wall (room 621). I get it’s a hostile but this was below expectations.

There were so many bugs in the room and I'm pretty sure I found a bed bug. I will not be staying here again.

No lo hagan no les contare muchos detalles pero estaba super sucio, me dieron un cuarto sucio que no limpiaron despues de su uso, me queje me dieron otro que estaba ocupado y me di cuenta cuando abri con mi llave, después de esperar casi 2 horas a media noche me dieron el cuarto normal. Pesima atencion y super inseguro

Leider war unser Zimmer nicht das sauberste. Die Fenster waren angeschmiert, das Klo roch nach Urin, die Dusche hatte schwarze Flecken, ...

Gravierende Mängel in der Sauberkeit: Das Zimmer war in einem inakzeptablen hygienischen Zustand. Es lagen Haare im Bad, die Bettwäsche war fleckig und das gesamte Zimmer machte einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Extreme Lärmbelästigung: durch andere Gäste Noch am selben Tag nach nur wenigen Stunden Aufenthalt wieder ausgechekt. Eine Übernachtung fand nicht statt.

Its a sauna, plz dont stay here in the hot months. The rooms get heated and there is no airflow. Becomes very hard to fall asleep, the windows dont open only tilt and there is nothing you can do about it. The guest kitchen was not functional and there was a lot of noise from the neighbouring hostel throughout the night.

No sound proofing, you could hear every loud conversation from rude guests walking down the hallways at 11.30pm, and big groups of children running and shouting late at night. Also every hallway door slams very loudly and it is enough to wake you up when someone is coming or going late at night or early in the morning. Don't bother with breakfast, everything is covered in flies and the price is too high for such a limited selection.

Room was hot, no ac, no fan, no curtains. Also smelt a little funky. The light and USB for my bed also did not work. Maybe I just got a dud room, but other a&o hostels have seemed better.

Room was very small just enough to reach to the bed or washroom. A very small TV was there but not operation. Beds were left for us to attange. I will not recommend this hotel if travelling with younger kids.

My group of 5 stayed here for one night and when we checked in our beds were not made, it was very hot in the room and the beds were very hard. Later in the night when we came back from dinner, one person in my group went to shower and the drain was not working in the bathroom so the bathroom was flooded. We went to the front desk and they were helpful to fix the issue which was very kind. At night it was very loud out out windows and also hot in the room. The pillows were also very bad and some people said their beds were very hard. Overall it was an okay experience for one night but I would not recommend staying here if you can avoid it.

Good but beds were a bit to hard.

( not for families) Did not like that windows do not open ( locked) and the place is super hot , also we had to put the sheets on the beds ourselves because the sheets were folded on the table. Also there are punch of people standing on front of the entrance smoking cigarettes and weed ( though the place is family friendly and had to pass in the middle of smoking and drinking people.,, the good part is that there is kids corner at least where my kids and wife could wait for the car to arrive.

Reception staff rude & unhelpful. The whole hotel itself was filthy and noisy. Door slamming all hours. On our arrival, we were given a room with 2 single beds & a bunk bed, which is bot what we booked. The room was so filthy and small, you could barely walk around the bed or in any part of the room, it was so cramped. A fee minutes later, a froup of 4 Asian ladies opened our door with their own key, and as it so happened they were given same room. One of the ladies and myself went down to reception, and the receptionist manager said the rom was right and that we were to share the room. We told the receptionist that we book our own private room & so dis the others. Receptionist finally admitted she made a mistake and gave us our own room, and the others stayed in that room. Room had nothing in it, apart from the bath towel, not even the very basic a hotel rom should have line a kettle to make coffee. Would never stay in this hotel again, and would definitely highly not recommend it at all. Worst hotel ever we have stayed at, and it was the worst ever experience we had in a hotel. The hotel is so basic and filthy that I would even stay there again, even if it is for free.

Der selfcheckin ist ein Drama. Aber der Rezeptionsmann war superfreundlich. Der kann nichts dafür, daß das Management so kundenfeindliche Anmeldeänderungen einführt. Alles war dadurch blockiert vor der Rezeption. Ankunftszeit ca. Mitternacht für alle. 3 Busse, ich und andere einzelne Personen

The front desk staff was very slow, with check-in taking at least two hours. The rooms weren’t clean on arrival, and housekeeping didn’t finish until 7 PM, which was frustrating and inconvenient.

While checking in, I was told that I needed to pay for room in CASH. I have booked many rooms before, and during my 4 week travels. My intinerary showed that I would pay for room with credit( on file). With the help of Paula and her manager(name I can’t remember). They called Expedia to clarify and enable me to pay with my card. I had very little Euros on hand, and would have hindered our travels.thanks again for the two women who saved the day.

Was very near to central station which made it easy to get to Vienna airport. Didnt like the check in process. Couldnt find a booking reference, one member of staff didnt want to help. Second member of staff found my booking reference then sent me back to the self check.in which was long winded when it was late with two tired kids.

The a&o Wien Hauptbahnhof is conveniently located near the Vienna main train station, making travel to other parts of Europe a breeze. Unfortunately, if you're interested in seeing other parts of the city, there's a lot of walking involved or taking the tram to get to your destination.

Die Lage 5min zu Fuss vom Wiener Hauptbahnhof entfernt ist top - grosse Aufenthaltsräume - Zimmer & Ausstattung über dem Durchschnitt eines Hotels Leider war die Heizung im Bad verdreckt - sonst alles sauber!

Goede plek om te overnachten in de buurt van het Hauptbahnhof! Met een paar minuten lopen sta je op het station en kun je met het OV verder de stad in. Verder is het een prima net en schoon hotel wat je van A&O gewent bent!

I didn’t realise it was a hostel until I reached a building. We had to wait for our room to be cleaned almost until 5pm. At breakfast was no hot food, coffee machine was out of order. Had to buy coffee in McDonald’s. Next day pancakes machine was out of order…

hôtel qui tient plus de l'auberge de jeunesse avec service minimum d'un personnel peu souriant dans l'ensemble. Petit déjeuner médiocre dans une salle assourdissante. Les chambres sont correctes cependant.

Tische beim Frühstück oft dreckig. Handtücher wurden nicht gewechselt, Bett nicht gemacht. Skybar nicht vorhanden obwohl ausgeschrieben. Generell eher mittelmäßig, aber für den Preis ggf. Okay.

Rent och trevlig. Ok sängar. Roliga kvällsaktiviteter med stand-up och musik. Prisvärd frukost. Trevlig personal. Extremt varma rum.
