This room is not as advertised. The room is very basic, horrible bed which was very uncomfortable. The room was very cold. Very noisy outside my room in the corridors from around 03:30. No heating at all. I do not recommend this hotel.

Basically, you get what you pay for. It is most definitely value for money being substantially cheaper than other nearby hotels. The bed was comfy enough, the room was warm, the water was hot and there was ample tea and coffee. The cleanliness of the room itself was okay, but the communal areas weren’t great. The staff were friendly, particularly those working on reception. It is a bit tired, and it would have been nice to have hand towels. Wi-fi was good and I believe that parking is available, though we didn’t use it. However, for the cost and location, it was fine for a one night stay.

I had wonderful stay at Hotel Langfords in September and was extremely satisfied with my experience. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and well-maintained, and the facilities were excellent. I would especially like to express my sincere appreciation to the reception staff, who were exceptionally kind, welcoming, respectful and helpful throughout my stay. Whenever I needed anything, they were always happy to assist, and my room was cleaned daily upon request. Their kindness, professionalism and attention to guests made me feel genuinely welcome and comfortable. My heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the entire team for their excellent service. Five stars, absolutely well deserved ! 👍 I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will be delighted to stay here again.

My stay was awlful , no sleep owing to people in the next room arguing all night for 2 nights. Complained several times to the staff, nothing was resolved. I was told that they would move me to another room but didn’t happen. Will definitely not be going back. The reception area smelt of drugs which wasn’t very nice. So not happy at all with my stay there. They won’t compensate me either

The reality is, this is a hotel that has obviously seen better days BUT and a very important but, for the things that mattered to me, it was excellent. The towels and bedding were spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable. They gave a decent amount of coffee and tea and milk sachets (I didn’t use any, but had I wanted to, then they were readily available. The location was fabulous. I could look out and see the sea. For me, the mini break was about everything outside of the hotel. If you want fancy pants, this isn’t it, but if you want a decent bed to lay your head on, close to the sea, with a lovely easy to work out how to use, hot shower, lots of toiletries and toilet roll so you don’t have to go asking, this is it. And right at the top of the positives, the staff. Excellent on reception both the man on arrival and the woman on departure, the cleaning woman I passed in the corridor, and someone else, I wasn’t sure what his role was, all fantastic. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in that part of the city.
