Stayed 3 nights

The first two days were fine. The house was lovely, clean and well kept. Outside was beautiful with a lovely view. However on the morning of the third day I heard a raised voice after my wife had stepped out to walk our dog. The host was pointing at my wife and demanding she pay him for the use of the outside plug to charge our EV car. His voice was loud and his demeanor aggressive.I quickly interjected and asked him to dial it down. He kept going on about having a high electric bill because of this and wanting additional money to pay for the charging. I told him that no where on the posting did it read you couldn’t charge an EV. He continued until we agreed to pay him and left.I contacted VRBO immediately and told them about the situation. I was told not to pay him because extorting extra money and confronting guests was not allowed. I told them they we were going back to get our things and were leaving immediately. VRBO handled it with speed and refunded us one night due to us refusing to stay another day knowing he was living on the second floor. I would not recommend this stay, even though the place is extremely nice, and well located, this host was very aggressive and unprofessional. We have never had a problem with a charging our car before and some things in life are just not worth the effort.
