Some of the staff were very welcoming (positive greetings, alert to happenings on property, etc) while others never said anything or even looked up to see who was walking through the door. The chemical level in the hot tub was very high (strong odor and burning eyes for many). They have strict quiet hours at 10pm which is appreciated to avoid the late night rowdiness that can happen but they do not even permit things like sitting and playing cards quietly in the breakfast area, etc. Overall great stay, convenient location

I will say it was easy to check in and get in our room. However, I reserved a multiple beds room( 2 queens and pull out sofa) we were put in a king room. We were in a time cru h when we checked as we were attending a concert and I still needed to get ready. Before we left my boyfriend and our two friends found a pill in the window! As we were leaving ( an hour after check in) I stopped at frint desk to let them know that I paid more for the bigger room with multiple beds and what I found more disturbing was the pill in the window. I even showed the person at the desk the picture and he said”oh that’s unlikely but sorry for that” he did offer to move us to the right room but again we were leaving for a show and already had so much unpacked. I feel I not only should have been given money back because the rate was more like I said, but also to brush me off about us finding the pill is unacceptable. I also work as a manager of a large hotel chain and know this is not how it should have been handled. If you would of sent someone they would have also saw the pill which we left in the window for you staff to take care.. I’m not touching someone’s medication that’s for sure.

Everything was amazing, especially the great continental breakfast and the customer service. Special shout out to Drew and Donovan when we checked it—what a great experience to have them greet us and take care of us in such a professional and friendly manner. If we’re ever back in Wausau we’d stay here again!

Rented a room for 5, was told when I showed up only had two queens. Luckily they had a rollaway. Then asked for extra blankets and was told they only had one. Wife went back to get another and again was told only one. Unsure why they are so stingy with blankets for 5 people.

The manager on duty (Drew) and GM (Mary) were very irresponsible. Concerns, phone calls, and emails were not addressed. The manager on duty even argued and told me to go back to my room and be quiet. I would not recommend this specific establishment to anyone, especially if you are a person of color.

Very nice hotel. Phil was just great checking us in and making sure we had everything needed. The breakfast Buffett was amazingly good. I have never had such a wonderful breakfast at a hotel. Way over and above our expectations.

Everything was fine. I'm not sure whether the breakfast was special for New Years' Day or your usual spread. It was elaborate compared to most so I'm assuming it was a special occasion breakfast buffet. Nice to have fresh fruit in winter.
