Easy check in w the bartender. We were on the third floor, which was a quick walk up the stairs, I don’t think there is an elevator / lift, which wasn’t an issue for us. The town is pretty small and the pub/inn is right in the middle of town. We were able to find parking 1 street over. We ended up having dinner in the pub which was decent, not great. We stayed for the live music which was nice. Breakfast is included so we headed down to the pub where coffee, tea and juices are available. They have a limited menu but were very accommodating in making some changes. The service was great - friendly Irish hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay, staff were very friendly, breakfast was wonderful. We had to rearrange things in our room to be able to accomodate the tea tray offered. A little less in terms of lamps and large wardrobes, and more thought into what is needed by travellers to accomodate their needs. The wardrobe was excessive and took up so much space. The staff were exceptional, and we enjoyed our stay. Due to room layout not sure if we would choose again. Position was great, parking in street overnight for free was a bonus.

Great location. I should have requested a room not on the 2nd floor though as it was tough on my elderly mother. Breakfast was average. Fresh fruit is great but nicer if it’s ripe and freshly cut. Poached eggs were served on a plate that was so hot the eggs ended up solid. But staff were fabulous

central in kenmare with a great restaurant and complimentary breakfast. the rooms could use an update, they are well worn. however the beds are comfortable and the showers have food pressure. the staff are so kind, especially the bartenders and the team working the breakfast. the big watch out is the noise. of course this b&b is over a restaurant/pub so you expect some level of noise but even with ear plugs you can hear nearly every note and word from the musicians downstairs even on the top floor, with the windows closed. if not them, then you’re hearing your neighbors in the room next door or in the hallway. again, it was a nice stay but we had some later starts because we couldn’t get to sleep early enough. if you need an early night, to start an early morning just be prepared.

Parking was a snap---right on the street. (We were there in October). The music in the pub went until midnight on Saturday, but otherwise it ended at 11:30. Not a problem for us. Room was not fancy, but clean and spacious.

I had no idea Kenmare would be the highlight of my Ireland vacation. I wish we booked more days at O'Donnabhains. We were greeted by "Jer" and he was so accommodating and helpful. We had dinner at the bar and the food and staff were great. We loved this place and hope to go back in the future. Highly recommend.

My stay at O’Donnabhains was amazing! The service was fantastic and Jer goes above and beyond to ensure you’re looked after. We had dinner downstairs at the pub where there was live music, food was delicious and atmosphere was lively & fun. O’Donnabhains & the town of Kenmare is one of the top places I visited as I travelled and will definitely return one day, don’t miss this authentic Irish town!

We loved staying over the pub- it was convenient to everything in town and it offered a delicious made to order breakfast every day. The music at night was great and we enjoyed the restaurant once during our stay. Kenmare is lovely! We hope to be back!

It is smack dab in the middle of Kenmore with all the restaurants and shops. We were able to park our 9 passenger van in any spot in town we could find and did not have to move it during our stay.

Easy check in w the bartender. We were on the third floor, which was a quick walk up the stairs, I don’t think there is an elevator / lift, which wasn’t an issue for us. The town is pretty small and the pub/inn is right in the middle of town. We were able to find parking 1 street over. We ended up having dinner in the pub which was decent, not great. We stayed for the live music which was nice. Breakfast is included so we headed down to the pub where coffee, tea and juices are available. They have a limited menu but were very accommodating in making some changes. The service was great - friendly Irish hospitality.

We thought it would be a fun experience to stay above a pub while in Kenmare. And it was! We were right in the heart of the town and it was easy to walk everywhere. Parking was a snap---right on the street. (We were there in October). The music in the pub went until midnight on Saturday, but otherwise it ended at 11:30. Not a problem for us. Room was not fancy, but clean and spacious.

Excellent location, breakfast and room size. The beds are starting to show some wear, but it didn’t prevent us sleeping soundly. Yes, I would recommend…especially in off-season which allowed us to find parking in from of the property.

Large comfy room. Bathroom had a large bath tub which was most welcome. Served hot breakfast as well as buffet fruit, cereals etc. was terrific. The breakfast server was extremely polite and friendly. I would recommend this property.

central in kenmare with a great restaurant and complimentary breakfast. the rooms could use an update, they are well worn. however the beds are comfortable and the showers have food pressure. the staff are so kind, especially the bartenders and the team working the breakfast. the big watch out is the noise. of course this b&b is over a restaurant/pub so you expect some level of noise but even with ear plugs you can hear nearly every note and word from the musicians downstairs even on the top floor, with the windows closed. if not them, then you’re hearing your neighbors in the room next door or in the hallway. again, it was a nice stay but we had some later starts because we couldn’t get to sleep early enough. if you need an early night, to start an early morning just be prepared.

Great location. I should have requested a room not on the 2nd floor though as it was tough on my elderly mother. Breakfast was average. Fresh fruit is great but nicer if it’s ripe and freshly cut. Poached eggs were served on a plate that was so hot the eggs ended up solid. But staff were fabulous

The room was large and comfortable and I slept well. The bathroom was fine as was the food with a good choice for n evening meal. While there was music the bar shut when the dining was completed which I thought was disappointing. The location was perfect as it was in the middle of Kenmare which in turn is a lovely town with plenty of food places and pubs.
