Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and friendly which made our stay so much more memorable. Love the location of the hotel: amazing sunset spot, next to a quiet beach, and scenic hiking route. Great having 2 pools, never too crowded or short of sunbeds. Gym area was well designed. Very good food option, can always find something we like.

Another lovely stay at the Barcelo. We will be back again for a relaxing adults only stay. The location is fab, the rooms are lovely as are the views. Lunch by the pool is excellent. Only areas for improvement are the quality of the evening buffet (despite being AI we ate out every night) and the odd occasional smell of drains around the lower pool.

Das Barcelo Portinatx ist ein wunderbar familiäres Hotel, das bereits beim Eintreffen mit einem Welcome-Getränk einen herzlichen Empfang bietet. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und merkt sich bereits nach kurzer Zeit spezielle Gästewünsche. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick hat mir sehr gut gefallen und es war gemütlich sowie sauber. Am Pool waren immer noch Liegen frei, egal zu welcher Zeit man eintrifft und insbesondere beim oberen Pool war es auch nie zu voll. Ich möchte auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen, ich habe die Entspannung sehr genossen. Dazu haben insbesondere auch die ausgedehnten Zeiten für das Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet beigetragen, sodass man ungestört Ausschlafen sowie das Tagesprogramm genießen konnte. Am Buffet gab es größtenteils auch eine breite Auswahl für Vegetarier. Es gibt nur wenige Punkte, die ich verbessern würde bzw. die mir gefehlt haben: - Es ist sehr schade, dass man zum Abendessen und Frühstück nicht draußen sitzen und aufs Meer schauen kann. Der Speisesaal bietet leider nur ein schmales Fenster mit Blick nach draußen. - Bei den Pools gibt es leider keine Umkleidekabine, das hätte ich mir gewünscht. - Die Duschen am oberen Pool funktionierten nicht oder kaum. - Am unteren Pool in der Nähe des Bademeister-Platzes verbreitet sich zeitweise ein sehr unangenehmer Abflussgeruch. Daher sind ein Teil der Liegen hier nicht benutzbar.

Rustige ligging, schitterende kamer, vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt. Locatie is redelijk afgelegen, wel erg mooi. Parkeren op een heuvel met gaten en sleuven in het zand en de stenen is wel een uitdaging.

Wonderful from start to finish. Attention to detail was impressive, pretty looking hotel, tremendous service, fantastic management (Tania Fernandez), great food selection, lovely location, staff were helpful (Scott and others), polite and happy. The Barcelo Portinatx is the last hotel at the end, by a beautiful cove and tranquil beach very close by with the charismatic Carlos, who will provide music, cocktails, sunbeds and shade. Plenty of restaurants serving tasty food nearby. The Barcelo Portinatx has a chilled and cool vibe - great for adults. Complimentary drinks and an unexpected bottle of Cava and chocolates on arrival for our wedding anniversary. Above all else the friendly staff, led by Tania, made our holiday at Barcelo Portinatx a complete joy. Two lovely pools and pool bar serving great food and cocktails is heaven. Again the staff were excellent, very attentive and lovely. The rooms are spacious for two persons, lovely shower and very comfy bed and sea views were lovely. Everything you need in a room. Cleaning and replenishment of room towels etc was excellent. Lovely bar and bar staff with entertainment in the evenings and health events in the mornings. Wellness treatments and an outside gym are available. Really cannot fault anything. We came just at the end of Sept and Portinatx was quiet and chilled. Perfect for us and we would come back in a heartbeat. Lots to do outside of the hotel too. The hippie market in the chic San Joan De Labritja is close by and easy

2nd time here and the staff are what make it such a good place to holiday. Super friendly and efficient. They can't do enough for you. Poolside, more sunloungers than guests so nobody is ever chasing around for somewhere to relax The maintenance is pretty poor. Just in our room. None of the USB ports worked, the aircon sensor on the door was faulty so we had to prod with a coat hanger every time the door was opened and closed, the back door lock didn't work, the ceiling fan banged on every rotation and got louder each time so couldn't use it and the phone in room didn't work. All pretty small but all in one room was not what was expected and easily fixable, the main thing was the aircon sensor which had obviously been botched before by the selotape on it! All were reported on day one so hopefully they got sorted after we checked out.

Magnifique séjour de 5 nuits dans cet hôtel. Tout était parfait, la chambre parfaitement nettoyée chaque jour, le petit-déjeuner délicieux avec un large choix qualitatif. La piscine est très agréable et le nombre de transat largement suffisant. Aucun stress, uniquement du plaisir. La plage de portinatx située à environ 6min à pied est magnifique. Je conseille un séjour dans cette région, calme et offrant tout ce qu’on attend des vacances balnéaires.
Magnifique séjour de 5 nuits dans cet hôtel. Tout était parfait, la chambre parfaitement nettoyée chaque jour, le petit-déjeuner délicieux avec un large choix qualitatif. La piscine est très agréable et le nombre de transat largement suffisant. Aucun stress, uniquement du plaisir. La plage de portinatx située à environ 6min à pied est magnifique. Je conseille un séjour dans cette région, calme et offrant tout ce qu’on attend des vacances balnéaires.

Great Hotel & Perfect Quiet Location Hotel very clean and staff incredibly polite and friendly. Breakfast very good with large choice of fresh foods. The location is just perfect with a lovely mix of beach/pool & restaurants. Very close to a lovely beach/bay with a few exceptional restaurants close by (the Hotels restaurant on the beach - "Magical" is well worth a visit!) Our stay couldn't have been better!

Het hotel ligt prachtig. Kamer met uitzicht op zee biedt mooi uitzicht. Het personeel is supervriendelijk. Eten bij de pool-bar is van hoge kwaliteit. Ook de cocktails zijn goed. All-inclusive formule werkt prima en is het geld waard. Hotel raakt wel op sommige punten wel wat in verval. De douche lekt en is aan vernieuwing toe. Ook de handdoeken waren regelmatig versleten. Het personeel compenseert alles echter compleet!! Dank Luca, Roxy en Ana!!! Tot de volgende keer.

We purposefully chose the adults only hotel as we wanted to experience the more chilled part of Ibiza and we weren't disappointed. Barcelo Portinatx is beautifully situated at the end of the road with a lovely clean beach and smaller coves nearby (oh the sunsets are beautiful!). We had to change a room early on due to a technical problem but the move was dealt with within 30 minutes which was amazing. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean with some amenities like toiletries and coffee and tea making facilities. We went All Inclusive and the food was great, large but not obscene choice for breakfast and dinner and with lovely menu in the pool bar (the gazpacho is to die for). As we were there during Euro 2024 the drinks were flowing and the selection was great and so was the atmosphere. The pool areas are nice and quiet, you can always find a sunlounger. We hired a car as it's worth exploring other nearby coves and towns. We also hired a small boat near the hotel to explore the coastline and go snorkelning. We purposefully chose the adults only hotel as we wanted to experience the more chilled part of Ibiza and we weren't disappointed. Barcelo Portinatx is beautifully situated at the end of the road with a lovely clean beach and smaller coves nearby (oh the sunsets are beautiful!). We had to change a room early on due to a technical problem but the move was dealt with within 30 minutes which was amazing. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean with some amenities like toiletries and coffee and tea making facilities. We went All Inclusive and the food was great, large but not obscene choice for breakfast and dinner and with lovely menu in the pool bar (the gazpacho is to die for). Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt gut, unsere Aussicht von der Terrasse war toll, Zimmer war sauber, allerdings kam vom Duschabfluss ein unangenehmer Geruch, Personal war sehr nett, Frühstück war sehr gut und vielfältig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Whirlpool und leider beim Füllen mit Wasser kam da etwas Braunfarbiges mit in die Wanne. This is a fabulous hotel, the service was excellent, the staff were so genuinely friendly and helpful. The views from the hotel across the sea are beautiful and the location is perfect, it’s just a 10 minute walk to the main restaurants and also to the main beach (there are 3). The ambience is very chilled and the decor in the hotel is perfect white Ibiza style with natural materials. Oh and there is a very friendly and gentle resident cat! Perfect in every way!

While there is nothing wrong with the hotel there are a few observations to make here. We booked a superior sea view and that room was fine. On check in the front desk attempted to give us a free upgrade (which they inked onto the room keycard cover along with “junior suite”. If you are giving an upgrade and you’re a class hotel you don’t need to do this. As regards the room in reality “suite” seems a little overselling the suite term, and which unfortunately smelled quite bad so we reversed to what we’d booked. Also this hotel promotes itself at a certain level, advertising bath products from Bulgari but they’re not. It feels more like an upmarket package holiday hotel in certain aspects.

Wonderful from start to finish. Attention to detail was impressive, pretty looking hotel, tremendous service, fantastic management (Tania Fernandez), great food selection, lovely location, staff were helpful (Scott and others), polite and happy. The Barcelo Portinatx is the last hotel at the end, by a beautiful cove and tranquil beach very close by with the charismatic Carlos, who will provide music, cocktails, sunbeds and shade. Plenty of restaurants serving tasty food nearby. The Barcelo Portinatx has a chilled and cool vibe - great for adults. Complimentary drinks and an unexpected bottle of Cava and chocolates on arrival for our wedding anniversary. Above all else the friendly staff, led by Tania, made our holiday at Barcelo Portinatx a complete joy. Two lovely pools and pool bar serving great food and cocktails is heaven. Again the staff were excellent, very attentive and lovely. The rooms are spacious for two persons, lovely shower and very comfy bed and sea views were lovely. Everything you need in a room. Cleaning and replenishment of room towels etc was excellent. Lovely bar and bar staff with entertainment in the evenings and health events in the mornings. Wellness treatments and an outside gym are available. Really cannot fault anything. We came just at the end of Sept and Portinatx was quiet and chilled. Perfect for us and we would come back in a heartbeat. Lots to do outside of the hotel too. The hippie market in the chic San Joan De Labritja is close by and easy

2nd time here and the staff are what make it such a good place to holiday. Super friendly and efficient. They can't do enough for you. Poolside, more sunloungers than guests so nobody is ever chasing around for somewhere to relax The maintenance is pretty poor. Just in our room. None of the USB ports worked, the aircon sensor on the door was faulty so we had to prod with a coat hanger every time the door was opened and closed, the back door lock didn't work, the ceiling fan banged on every rotation and got louder each time so couldn't use it and the phone in room didn't work. All pretty small but all in one room was not what was expected and easily fixable, the main thing was the aircon sensor which had obviously been botched before by the selotape on it! All were reported on day one so hopefully they got sorted after we checked out.

Wir haben besonders den Ausblick von unserem Zimmer geliebt. Zudem muss man den Service des gesamten Teams loben. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Amazing experience - we had an outdoor jacuzzi room which was incredible with views to die for but our stay would not have been the same if not for the loveliest guest relations staff member I have ever met! Mell - you made our trip and my birthday extra special ... I loved how Mell checked on all the guests - but also on the staff which, on the Sunday, were extra busy and of course Mell was there helping in the restaurant! Breakfast was delicious and tasty every single day! Ruben (reception) and the Concierge boys (only know one name - Michael) were also super helpful and friendly. A great break away - I can't wait to return!

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and friendly which made our stay so much more memorable. Love the location of the hotel: amazing sunset spot, next to a quiet beach, and scenic hiking route. Great having 2 pools, never too crowded or short of sunbeds. Gym area was well designed. Very good food option, can always find something we like.

Great Hotel & Perfect Quiet Location Hotel very clean and staff incredibly polite and friendly. Breakfast very good with large choice of fresh foods. The location is just perfect with a lovely mix of beach/pool & restaurants. Very close to a lovely beach/bay with a few exceptional restaurants close by (the Hotels restaurant on the beach - "Magical" is well worth a visit!) Our stay couldn't have been better!

Quiero expresar mi profunda insatisfacción con mi reciente estancia en el hotel BARCELÓ IBIZA. Mi reserva original no fue respetada y, a pesar de solicitar un reembolso o la habitación reservada, me ofrecieron un supuesto “upgrade” que resultó ser un engaño. Me hicieron esperar hasta varias horas perdiendo el día y recibí la habitación de las 2 que llegue a las 9:00pm para el check-in, claramente para evitar que pudiera contactar a un supervisor o cancelar ya que era imposible hacerlo. Desafortunadamente antes de la situación descrita ya había pagado por este mismo medio una noche más y mismo tema. El personal de recepción nocturno fue muy grosero, sin ofrecer solución alguna. Tuve que cargar mis maletas a una habitación en el último piso, enfrentándome a múltiples escaleras, sin que funcionara el ascensor y sin asistencia, a pesar de mis problemas de espalda. La habitación estaba: el jacuzzi del “upgrade” no funcionaba solicité cama king size y unieron dos camas matrimoniales de mala calidad. A pesar de mis reiteradas quejas en el lugar la supervisora que prometió mejorar la situación simplemente volvió a engañarme para esta noche y pasé lo mismo. Exijo el reembolso completo debido a esta experiencia negativa y el trato poco ético recibido. Este tipo de prácticas no solo dañan la reputación de su hotel, sino también la de plataformas como Expedia o el hotel, no cumplen ambos con las expectativas mínimas de su cliente. Es un fraude este lugar. Espero su pronta respuesta.

Hotel was great, staff were friendly and always very helpful. Pool was nice and the hotel is a stones throw from the beach. Very quiet location. Could do with a bit more entertainment in the evenings and the veggie options are pretty limited in the evening meals but I would stay here again.

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and friendly which made our stay so much more memorable. Love the location of the hotel: amazing sunset spot, next to a quiet beach, and scenic hiking route. Great having 2 pools, never too crowded or short of sunbeds. Gym area was well designed. Very good food option, can always find something we like.

Aunque el hotel estuvo muy bien en todos sus aspectos y busqué un hotel en Portinatx, al final de la estadía pude concluir que estábamos bastante lejos de Ibiza y que habían otros lugares más cercanos a Ibiza, pero igual o mejores que llegar a Portinatx.

This resort and hotel are really only geared up for good weather, and it was mixed in the week we spent here. When the sun was shining it was lovely but there isn't much to do in Portinatx when it isn't (public transport is limited). It also might have been better to go earlier in the season (we were 6 - 13 Oct), as within the hotel it felt like some things were running out and not being replaced, and many restaurants were closed. Overall, a nice trip but the quality of the hotel didn't match the glowing reviews we'd read on line.

A lovely, relaxing stay at Barcelo, Portinatx. A small, friendly hotel with a beautiful quiet cove on the doorstep. Portinax has crystal clear water and was quiet enough in May before the crowds.

Rustige ligging, schitterende kamer, vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt. Locatie is redelijk afgelegen, wel erg mooi. Parkeren op een heuvel met gaten en sleuven in het zand en de stenen is wel een uitdaging.

The only bad thing it was the parking area i think you just need to manage it good and also make the street there . Bec it was always bad to find parking. But every thing else was so good and we really enjoyed it so much

Great Hotel & Perfect Quiet Location Hotel very clean and staff incredibly polite and friendly. Breakfast very good with large choice of fresh foods. The location is just perfect with a lovely mix of beach/pool & restaurants. Very close to a lovely beach/bay with a few exceptional restaurants close by (the Hotels restaurant on the beach - "Magical" is well worth a visit!) Our stay couldn't have been better!

Wonderful from start to finish. Attention to detail was impressive, pretty looking hotel, tremendous service, fantastic management (Tania Fernandez), great food selection, lovely location, staff were helpful (Scott and others), polite and happy. The Barcelo Portinatx is the last hotel at the end, by a beautiful cove and tranquil beach very close by with the charismatic Carlos, who will provide music, cocktails, sunbeds and shade. Plenty of restaurants serving tasty food nearby. The Barcelo Portinatx has a chilled and cool vibe - great for adults. Complimentary drinks and an unexpected bottle of Cava and chocolates on arrival for our wedding anniversary. Above all else the friendly staff, led by Tania, made our holiday at Barcelo Portinatx a complete joy. Two lovely pools and pool bar serving great food and cocktails is heaven. Again the staff were excellent, very attentive and lovely. The rooms are spacious for two persons, lovely shower and very comfy bed and sea views were lovely. Everything you need in a room. Cleaning and replenishment of room towels etc was excellent. Lovely bar and bar staff with entertainment in the evenings and health events in the mornings. Wellness treatments and an outside gym are available. Really cannot fault anything. We came just at the end of Sept and Portinatx was quiet and chilled. Perfect for us and we would come back in a heartbeat. Lots to do outside of the hotel too. The hippie market in the chic San Joan De Labritja is close by and easy

What an amazing hotel! The Staff are extraordinary - they care so much about the guests. One bartender even offered to drive us to a reservation when our booked taxi didn't arrive on time. The food is wonderful - i've never had a buffet taste so good, the chefs really are proud of their work and they should be!

Adults only hotel that was mainly quiet around the pool areas, however, at certain times of the day there was noise coming from a block of apartments overlooking the 'quiet' pool. I'm not sure if this was staff residence or general public but children playing and shouting (not a problem to me but might be for those that want absolute 'Adults Only'. Also dogs barking and fighting and residence chatting/debating (noice carried) on their balconies. Food was good. I especially liked the food at the pool bar. All staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful rocky beach location.

Frühstück sehr toll. Grosse Auswahl und frische Produkte. Pool-Landschaft mit Bar ebenfalls sehr gemütlich. Abwechslungsreiches Sportangebot. Strand in der Nähe, hübsche Gegend.

Another lovely stay at the Barcelo. We will be back again for a relaxing adults only stay. The location is fab, the rooms are lovely as are the views. Lunch by the pool is excellent. Only areas for improvement are the quality of the evening buffet (despite being AI we ate out every night) and the odd occasional smell of drains around the lower pool.

Magnifique séjour de 5 nuits dans cet hôtel. Tout était parfait, la chambre parfaitement nettoyée chaque jour, le petit-déjeuner délicieux avec un large choix qualitatif. La piscine est très agréable et le nombre de transat largement suffisant. Aucun stress, uniquement du plaisir. La plage de portinatx située à environ 6min à pied est magnifique. Je conseille un séjour dans cette région, calme et offrant tout ce qu’on attend des vacances balnéaires.
Magnifique séjour de 5 nuits dans cet hôtel. Tout était parfait, la chambre parfaitement nettoyée chaque jour, le petit-déjeuner délicieux avec un large choix qualitatif. La piscine est très agréable et le nombre de transat largement suffisant. Aucun stress, uniquement du plaisir. La plage de portinatx située à environ 6min à pied est magnifique. Je conseille un séjour dans cette région, calme et offrant tout ce qu’on attend des vacances balnéaires.

Het hotel ligt prachtig. Kamer met uitzicht op zee biedt mooi uitzicht. Het personeel is supervriendelijk. Eten bij de pool-bar is van hoge kwaliteit. Ook de cocktails zijn goed. All-inclusive formule werkt prima en is het geld waard. Hotel raakt wel op sommige punten wel wat in verval. De douche lekt en is aan vernieuwing toe. Ook de handdoeken waren regelmatig versleten. Het personeel compenseert alles echter compleet!! Dank Luca, Roxy en Ana!!! Tot de volgende keer.

Had a suite and it was amazing, so spacious, comfortable, clean and the hot tub was especially great. Food was great and local area is so quite and peaceful.

Une étape dans ce coin calme de l'île. Le jaccuzi sur la terrasse est une option intéressante. Le petit déjeuner est qualitatif. Pour ma part la demi-pension du soir mériterait une attention particulière sur les plats chauds disponibles en terme de qualité gustative, .... et les desserts ....bof....j'ai fini par prendre un fruit ! (Et là, on est dans le coeur de mon métier !) Le personnel de réception est professionnel et extrêmement agréable. Cet établissement construit sur un flan de falaise a pas mal de différences de niveaux, d'où des escaliers en conséquence !! Service de bagagerie, service late checkout et douche de courtoisie (option très agréable).

Really enjoyable 3 night stay. Must say that after 3 night at nearby Sandos El Greco (which felt a bit like a budget cruise ship experience), Barcelo felt like a private yacht, great resort. Buffet dinner and breakfast was a highlight for me, great quality food and options. Was supposed to be 4 nights but due to a plumbing issue at hotel I had to be moved to a nearby resort for my first night. Staff handled this really well and offered a room upgrade at the other hotel plus champagne and fresh fruit in my room. Only negative for me is the nearby beach, which does not really compare with some of the other beaches in Ibiza, so I would not choose to spend my day there unless I had no other options. Luckily the main beach is just about in walking distance. Resort is at the end of Portinatx not near much else so a car/scooter would be a good idea (helped me a lot). Will return for the quality of room and food.
