La Quinta by Wyndham Mt. Pleasant

We always stay at this hotel when we visit family. Very nice hotel, has an indoor pool/hot tub and includes breakfast. The place is in great condition, parking lot well lite all the way around. Our room was clean, spacious and everything worked. Staff was friendly and check in and out went fast and easy. Breakfast was good and staff kept up with everyones needs. We had another great stay with them and will stay with them on our next visit

Definitely not a professionally operated business. It's a shame because I have stayed here before and things went well. This time around, upon arrival, there was a baby at the front desk w/ her mom working the check ins. The second lady that obviously came in late to work kept messing up others' check ins because TWICE I had people trying to come into my room and both showed me their keys w/ MY room number. Cleaning was not done properly as the tub and sink were not thoroughly cleaned, I'll leave it at that. The two nights that I was there kids were running up and down the halls and up and down the stairs. I let it go for the first hour or so but at 9 I had to call the front desk. She stated she was aware of it but obviously did nothing as I kept hearing them until nearly midnight. I will not be staying here again and if you choose to, I hope that your stay is better than mine.

Overall a great place to stay. Breakfast is outstanding. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy were all fresh and hot. Waffles, bagels, toast, and cereal also available. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Only thing that could be better was the water pressure of the shower was a little low. This could not be the hotel's issue but a waterline issue so not blaming La Quinta just noting. Will definitely stay here again when in town.

Breakfast was very good - scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles - all tasty and filling. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Room was huge. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower had nice hot water but the stream was not as strong. Got in late and left early so did not use the pool or weight room.
