I didn't like that I had to pay $10 for parking per day and there was not any security guarding. What was I paying for? Hotel could use some small cosmetic updates. Pool bar/hut was closed and looked like it had been closed for a while. Don't advertise the amenity and not have it available. The glass between the pools was worn/warped/dirty looking.

When we booked the property we had hopes of a swim up bar and relaxing in a pool. The theme of this hotel should be temporarily closed. The indoor pool and spa.... temporarily closed. The outdoor swim up bar..... temporarily closed. The one thing at the pool that did work was the music that they started playing around 7:45 AM each day. That was my morning wake up, that I didn't want or ask for, each day. The walls are also super thin and we could hear the people above us moving around all night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Check-in set the tone for a less-than-welcoming stay. The guest services representative never smiled, seemed unhelpful, and acted annoyed when we asked basic questions. Later, when we tried to get food at the bistro, the employee stood at the far end of the counter playing on his phone and never acknowledged us so we thought it was closed or he didn’t work the bistro. After waiting a minute, we asked the front desk if the bistro was open, and she rolled her eyes and pointed toward him telling us ‘he’s right there’ —hardly professional service. The indoor pool was full of mosquitoes, something I’ve never experienced on past trips to southern Texas. One hot tub was broken and surrounded by chairs, which made the area feel even more uninviting. The hallways had a strange odor, and looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in some time. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, though it was manageable, and the room itself was clean enough for our needs. Unfortunately, the view from our window was completely blocked by a construction pod in the parking lot, which added to the off-putting feel. That said, the property did serve its purpose for the weekend. The best part of the stay was the location—just a quick five-minute drive to SeaWorld, which was the main reason for our visit. For that convenience, it worked, but between the poor service, lack of upkeep, and general atmosphere, it isn’t a hotel I’d be eager to return to.

There is loud construction right next to the hotel that starts at 7:00 in the morning. Because of that everything is covered in a thick layer of dust. Several of us also had our cars broken into overnight. When I asked if there were cameras then the parking lot I was snapped at and told no because they're not liable. Apparently it's common for vehicles to get broken into or even stolen here.

Where do I start? Let’s see the over priced parking fee that was not disclosed when booking. Oh let’s not for get the fact that this place has its parking lot hit every week by burglars. Yes my vehicle was burglarized along with 6 other vehicles . I Was informed by an employee that the hotel has non working cameras and officers are out there on a weekly bases . The clerks were rude and nothing was offered to ease the situation. Out 500 dollars for window repair to vehicle and personal items that were taken. Bathrooms were atrocious and the elevator was out ! Stay here at your own risk.

The hotel was conveniently located and the pu lic areas were clean. Our room did have a broken towel rack and the bottom stripping on the room door was loose making it difficult to close. Also the indoor pool area was out of order and they ran out of pool towels. The outdoor pool can use better lighting in and over the pool.

The property was nice and clean even the remodeling going on.The staff was helpful and friendly. Wish the swim up bar was open my wife was looking forward to that.

The room had marks all over the carpet, lamps and the couch had huge stains on both sides of the cushion. One of the towels had a hair and stain on it. It looks like somebody just folded the towel after using it. Very disappointed, specially after seen that other people had a positive experience so I was very surprise of the gross condition of the room.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. So dirty so dirty so dirty. Cockroaches everywhere terrible smell, and the rooms are horrible. I would not ever ever stay here again.

Room was not cleaned enough. It looked like a damn booger on the wall next to the restroom and the balcony was not swept and candy wrappers left out there. Didn’t get in pool. The water was shut off so we couldn’t shower, use the restroom or brush teeth. Staff didn’t send out any notice by email or calls. I love the Marriott but this one was not it.

I was impressed by the hotel upon my arrival. The front desk staff were very friendly. Checking in and out was very quick. When we walked into our room, I was hit with a very musty smell. It was bad! We had to open the patio door for awhile and let the room air out. The handle in the bathroom was loose. We didn’t discover that until we attempted to use it in the shower. The couch in the room had some very big stains. I was really surprised by the conditions of the room. Not sure I will stay at this location again.

Room was dated and need of updates. There was what looked like black mold on the ceiling above the shower. Cabinet trim was loose and hanging off the furniture. The sofa bed frame was bent and wouldn’t lay flat. We have stayed in many Marriott hotels and this one was definitely below standard when compared to other Marriott hotels.

Hotel seemed nice. Didnt know we would also have to pay for parking once we got there. Paid extra for rhe breakfast that was mediocre. Internet wouldnt stay connected on our devices at all, and would not let us use our ipads to stream at all. For the price we were disappointed.

We upgraded and got the King Suite this year. It was money well spent! The room was big, we had a balcony and the kids really loved it. This was my 2nd stay here, definitely will be coming back and getting the king suite again!

Easy check in, easy access and parking, close to just about everything. The room was large, clean and quiet. The balcony was large with a good view of the courtyard/pool area. Basically can't find anything to complain about, will definitely stay again when in San Antonio.

They did not provide free breakfast and didn't mention that we hadto pay separately for breakfast. We stayed two nights and nobody came to clean the room or pick up trash. The front desk staff mentioned that I had to pay $10 parking fee for each day which was not normal. As I went through the parking website to pay for that, it took extra $1 per day as service fee !! I booked the hotel for 2 nights three days prior. But they billed me two different rate for each night. They don't tell you about their hidden costs. The staffs are not welcoming at all.

We stay here when visto g SeaWorld it’s right across the highway less than 5 minutes away. There is a gas station next door easy to walk to if you need a snack.

It was a nice room, the staff was nice, they had a great pool. Our room was listed as a city view and we could not see the city, we saw a large construction site and a very noisy highway. It was very close to Seaworld which was nice.

The place is quite nice, but most of the areas around there are construction works, the staff is friendly and the hotel is a few minutes from Seaworld, I think it works if you need a place to get to quickly but It is 20 minutes from the riverwalk and the tourist places

Nice hotel but on site life is expensive!! Once we checked out we were charged $10 per day for parking in the hotel parking lot. The prices in the on site restaurant are crazy for breakfast especially. Be aware before you book.

The stay itself was good, we wanted a family get away with a pool. But it came with some not so knowing charges like $10 per night for parking and almost $15 for breakfast which consist of eggs, bacon, saugsage potatos and toast. If you want anything else like pancakes or waffles thats an $8 charge, good thing theres a decent convenient store in walkable distance.

A very nice property close to West San Antonio attractions. The property had a nice lobby, bistro, and pool area. Only complaints are that you have to pay for parking, which seems to be pretty a common practice in San Antonio, and the bistro meal prices are high compared to the quality of the meal.

The hot tub was full of sand. I’m not sure why as there was no sand on site. The pool didn’t allow outside drinks, but the advertised pool bar was closed. In their defense it was the end of September not June, so I guess there was not much demand for the pool bar. Parking was handled by a third party. You had to scan a QR code and pay for parking online. It seemed a bit strange, but parking was only $10. They had cameras in the parking lot to deter vandalism.

Friendly staff, paid breakfast ,paid coffee/tea. Water fill in good size workout room. Nice indoor/outdoor pool with 2 hot tubs. Short drive to restaurants and shopping. Comfortable beds. Carpet, couch ottoman and chair needs deep cleaning. I do wish they would replant the tree that was cut down in the pool area to help block the view of the gas station and roof top air conditioners or put a privacy fence on the roof. A review of another guest from the previous night I stayed reported his car was broken into due to lack of security. Management was on it and the next night I parked there were two security guards/SUVs parked and patrolling the grounds. I always felt safe at this location and area.
