Castletown House Apartments

Die Unterkunft liegt wirklich zentral und ist sehr gut angebunden, zwei U-Bahnstationen nur wenige Meter entfernet. Pubs, Restaurants und kleine Supermärkte direkt um die Ecke. Etwas Renovierung würde dem ganzen Objekt aber auch gut tun, es in Teilen schon etwas abgewohnt..... aber immer noch erträglich.

Tough to give this review as the host Mark was very helpful and courteous, but unfortunately the apartment did not live up to expectations. It looks as though the flooring may have been replaced not too long ago, but a rather DIY job with gaps left along the base of the walls, and the rest of the space needs a fresh coat of paint. Cracks in the bathroom floor, a tub with stains that looks like they’ll never come out, one small couch that’s so worn it feels like you’re sitting on the floor, the whole place just feels quite tired. On the positive side, it’s just a 5 minute walk to the Tube, and the neighbourhood has plenty of small restaurants and a grocery store nearby. I’m sorry to leave just 3 stars but I would have liked to know this before booking.

Mark was very kind to meet us for check-in and even helped carry our cases upstairs. Flat is very well equipped, and everything works as it should. Very clean too. The location is excellent - a stone's throw from the West Kensington tube and about 5 minutes walk from Barons Court (on the Piccadilly line for direct access to Kings Cross and LHR). Lots of small supermarkets and places to eat / take away nearby. On a nice quiet street. Even if some of the fixtures could be updated, this flat has so many good points we didn't mind. Thank you.

Helt ok boende men allt sitter löst eller är trasigt i lägenheten. Från du duschen, lampor, dörrar, tak. Känns som de har renoverat hela lägenheten på en dag för det har gått väldigt fort.
