Great property, right in the center of town. The canal is just outside the door and the parking garage across the street is perfect. The staff is kind, patient and very helpful. The rooms are large, well appointed with comfy beds. Highly recommend.

A two day visit in Aveiro. The location of the hotel was perfect. We had a beautiful view to canal as most of the rooms. If you’re traveling by car leave the car front of the hotel, leave the bags and ask the instructions to parking hall.

Très belle hôtel, très propre. Notre chambre était super, bien insonoriser, propre et d'une bonne grandeur, idéalement situé, proche de tout. Le seul inconvénient est que le stationnement est de l'autre coté du canal et coûte 10 euros par jour. Sinon vraiment parfait !

Super fint hotel, nyrenoveret ældre bygning, som ligger centralt og perfekt til alt hvad Averio kan tilbyde. Hotellet har en aftale med parkeringshuset på den anden side af gaden, så der parkerede vi vores bil for 10 euro i døgnet. Hotellet har lækker morgenmad, gode senge og er meget charmerende. Der er 15 min kørsel til Barra Beach eller Costa Nova Beach. Der ligger massere af gode restauranter i nærheden, og servicen fra personalet er i top. Kan klart anbefales.

I was a little disappointed with the property it was in no way luke the pictures on Expedia the rooms were terribly small the bathrooms were luke a show box the shower could barely accommodate one person, the people who are supposed to clean the room did a terrible job

The hotel itself is lovely, the staff is friendly but the booking was the worst kind of bait and switch. We booked 3 deluxe canal view rooms; we received one room twice as big as the others ad none had canal views. Of course the hotel is fully booked so there is nothing the friendly staff can do to make things right. It's fine hotel, they do not need to lie about what they are providing you. Deceptive advertising practices leave more than a bad taste in my mouth. The knowledge that there is nothing I can do to correct it only makes it worse. Reviewing the listings I see that while we paid for deluxe rooms with canal views two of our rooms were simply standard rooms, which sell for €25 less per night. The third, like the others, did not have the promised canal view. I am requesting that we be refunded at least the difference between what we paid for and what we received. Let’s see if the hotel does the honorable thing.

Even by European standards, the room was ridiculously small. Couldn't put my suitcase on the bench w/o blocking the door. Sink area in bathroom was so small I couldn't put my toiletries, meds and supplements w/o stacking them.

Great breakfast. Couldn't control the room temperature during the winter. I guess it is set up only with heater. We had to open the window to cool the room, then it was noisy. Besides that, it was great!

Really nice hotel, reception was great and we were able to check in early. I upgraded to a room with city view, tiny room, no plug sockets at bedside, could barely walk around the bed. Large bathroom, nice shower. Windows opened with a view of the rotary. Had breakfast the next day and it was a great buffet!
