Everything here is excellent—clean, convenient, and the staff is very helpful. Coffee, water, and hot cocoa are all included, which is a nice touch. The only thing I wish the hotel offered is a luggage scale to borrow. Currently, there’s only one in the lobby, so guests have to make multiple trips between their rooms and the lobby just to weigh their bags—something that can be inconvenient, especially before a flight.

It was a perfect location and a very nice, clean and very spacious hotel room. Comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was awesome, friendly and helpful, and having laundry services on site was a game changer for me. From now on I’ll only look for hotels with laundry facilities.

The rooms were big for Japan standards. We stayed at other hotels in Japan and this hotel had the biggest room. The staff was very nice and helpful. If I come to Japan again I will be staying here. There is a gym and laundry mat on site.

Great location, close to Shinjuku without all the noise, and lots of cheap restaurants nearby that aren't as touristy. The property was okay, nothing extraordinary. They have a gym, unfortunately, it feels very outdated and it is in a very small space, no more than two people can do free weights at the same time. The rooms in the hotel feel dated although It served its purpose; for instance, the bathroom was clean, but the bathtub and the toilet had this yellowy color from old plastic, that doesn't make it feel sanitary, although it was clean, nor welcoming to take a bath or use their famous bidet.

Room was big but the layout was a bit weird. Rooms were dusty on top of the bed headboard light, there were stains on the walls from other travelers possibly scuffing their luggage, stains/mold on the painting above our bed, and the vents were dusty. Washing machines/dryer facilities are alright if you have one or two outfits being washed but Goodluck drying them. Would be just fine but the price is a lot for what you’re getting. Very disappointed overall. If I could add video I would.

Citadines Shinjuku looks like a run down property. The reception was also looking very cramped up and many places in the hotel specially the flloor corridoes were have a foul smell. The carpets looked run down and there is a major overhaul required in teh hotel. The rooms were small but confortable enough compared to Tokyo standards. The amenities were sufficient. If the hygine part is taken careoff then it is a good hotel to stay.

Incredibly comfortable bed. Daily clean done to a high standard, but room in need of a refresh and a deep clean (on arrival there was something trodden into the carpet that I was able to remove with a stiff shoe brush and a bit of elbow grease)

Staff were great and spoke English. Room was fairly small and had a bit of sewage order in the bathroom, which the hotel seem to know about since there was air freshener and they turned the fans on when they cleaned. Breakfast buffet looked ok but not exceptional, we did not purchase. Room was quiet with good heating controls. One side of the bed did not have an outlet or any charging ports, which was a bit annoying.

I absolutely had an amazing time during my 7 days stay at the hotel. I did not encounter any problems or issues. The wifi was fast. The room is always clean and tidy. The room is also spacious for a reasonable price. Train station is close by and Shinjuku/kabukicho is also close (about 15mins walk) or you can ride the bus (bus stop at the front of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and warm as well. The area though close to shinjuku is fairly quiet with less tourist. Will definitely book this hotel again if I come back to Tokyo.

Great hotel in convenient location. Its close to Shinjuku central area but in a quieter location. There are still lots of restaurants and bars close by. We had an apartment with kitchen which provided more space than the average Japanese hotel room and there is a good supermarket close by with lots of ready meals. The kitchen is small but well equipped

This property is located a few blocks from the subway station and there are some convenient stores and eateries nearby. We were initially given a room that faced an office building maybe 1m away so it barely had any light coming through the tiny window. We requested for a room that faced the street so if you easily feel claustrophobic, make that request upfront. The room came fully equipped with a kitchenette, study and beds - a good size by Tokyo standards I suppose. But it’s dated. Don’t expect modern trimmings. It is functional. I’d have preferred the towels not smell like sweat but they did, everyday. The Housekeeping staff will start knocking at 10 am and when I shouted from the toilet “Please give me 10 more minutes”, they barged in anyway. That was rude. One day I returned to find the sweater and socks I’d left on the bed strewn all over the floor. I did not enjoy my stay.

We are were very happy when were stayed here last year that we decided to come back again. The room is big and the couch is comfy to relax and even to watch Japanese tv. The kitchenette is equipped sufficiently to make simple meals/breakfast. However I think the laundry needs upgrading with newer machines that have passcode locks.

It was a lovely hotel. Staff was great - the double room suite was comfortable. Bathroom a bit small - mate inky reason for the four star was you could hear the train - not horribly load but it was there. No view. But it was worth every bit the money we spent on it. Great area - easy access.

This hotel was 2 stops away from the main the Shinjuku station. It's far enough away from the crazy buzz of Shinjuku nightlife but still easily commutable to all the major areas of the city. The nearby streets/alley ways had plenty of small local restaurants which offered good dinner options if were we didn't want to venture out for dinner. Of course, plenty of convenience stores around. The room itself was extremely spacious, separate sitting area and kitchenette. Honestly cost us about the same than a single bed room in more central area of Shinjuku. The room was cleaned well daily. Front desk staff were nice and spoke English, we had no issue with checking in or out. They held our luggage for us pre-check in and post check out. I would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip.

Everyone was nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are good size. Sheets and towels were changed every 3 days but for the 3 weeks we were there the comforter were not washed. We traveled with a baby and comforter/blankets got dirty ( left them on floor on purpose so they can see stains and change it) but they will just folded it and put it back in closet. Also the heater was way too hot out of nowhere, we got very stuffy nose every morning. The hotel has laundry room which was a plus but it takes a long time to dry all the clothes. Overall, we had a good time there, close to subway, food and taxis near by. Very walkable and safe area.

1)The room is big. Good enough for two people to stay. Most of the hotel room is very small in Tokyo. 2) I arrived at 8am in the morning. The room check in time is supposedly at 2pm. It is very nice of them to let me check in earlier at 10am without any additional charge.

Location is very convenient. This hotel is only steps away from a bus station to Shinjuku and 8 min walking distance to the major subway stations. 7/11 is just around the corner. The staff there can speak fluent English. I found them very friendly too. One of lady front desk staff help me call the taxi to Shinjuku and show me the easy different options to the airport. They also help taped my broken luggage. Room is very clean. Enough space to put our 4 luggages inside the room.

Decent hotel but overpriced for what it is. If you really desire a studio apartment during your stay then this is great for you. The closest train station is about a 8-10 minute walk. The location isn’t bad but there are definitely better options at this price point.

I love that they have a gym and staff are extremely nice and helpful! My only complain is the breakfast dining area is too small and can get really crowded, also, buffet selection needs improvement. I don’t mind paying extra for a good breakfast.

We had a great stay at this hotel during our family trip. The location was excellent—right in the middle of the city’s hustle and bustle—making it very convenient for exploring. The nearby train station was a big plus, allowing quick and easy access to major attractions.
