This hotel was located close to the monasteries with great view of it. The staff were all very friendly. Parking was a bit of an issue. Luckily there weren’t that many guests during my stay. The room was small but felt like an actual hotel. The shower head couldn’t stay still and kept falling. Other than that, great hotel.

The hotel was spotless, and convenient for visiting Meteora. Parking was limited but we could always find a space. Couple of perfectly pleasant tavernas nearby although they were very quiet when we visited. Having a car we were able to go to Kalambaka for more choice. Staff were very helpful about how to visit the monasteries.

Situé tout près du site des Météores ce qui est bien pratique. Le déjeuner continental était très bien et le personnel accueillant. Il y a peu de place de stationnement mais dans mon cas ce ne fut pas un n problème. Il y a quelques restaurants à quelques pas de marche.

I arrived after dark and was able to park directly in front of the entrance. The staff was welcoming and helped me to choose a restaurant for dinner. The included breakfast was very good with several choices.The room was clean and quiet and had a balcony that I didn't get to use because I had an early morning pickup for a Meteora hike. The hotel permitted me to leave my car in front for half the day while I was hiking and offered to store my suitcase until I returned.

We rented e-bikes (35€ ea/24hrs) and this hotel was a perfect jumping off point. We had the end room overlooking the front parking with a great view of the rock formations from our balcony. The front staff could not have been more accommodating. Very happy with choice.

Conveniently located at the start of the road to all the different monasteries at the top of the cliffs. We used one of the packing spots right out the doors. The breakfast was really good. Few restaurants down the street.

Old furnished rooms. Low standard bathroom. Very old air conditioners that work like fans. Small rooms. Breakfast not included (rare for 4stars hotel) and because we booked the room through Expedia we weren’t given the option to select and pay for breakfast in advance and thank god for that as we had 2 rooms (4 adults) and was going to cost us €80. Mediocre breakfast and pricy what it offers compared with all the other hotels that we stayed in Greece. Nice personnel at reception desk, great location. Ok overall

We stayed in the Suite (Panoramic Meteora View) room. We booked a two-day Meteora tour from Athens but booked this hotel separately. Maybe it was our lack of understanding of the area but the hotel is in Kastraki (city? area?) that is a bit far from the city center of Kalabaka. Restaurant choices are very limited around the hotel but it is closer to Meteora. For us, it turned out to be a bit inconvenient. The hotel building was rated quite high so I was a bit surprised how old the building was. The room smelled like an old apartment. The shower was really small and it was kind of odd. Based on their rating, I expected more. A/C in the room worked fine. Wifi was adequate. The view from the room was okay. You can see Meteora rock formations from the room but "panoramic Meteora view" seems to be an overstatement. Breakfast was nice and they offered many choices. You need to walk about 5 minutes to the closest ATM machine if you need cash for visiting monasteries. I recommend staying near the city center of Kalabaka.

Fabulous hotel and setting. Excellent staff who are very helpfull and tell you the best way to get to what you want to see. The rooms are supurb and large and very quiet with good aircon. Breakfast is excellent with plenty to eat. We walked to St Nicholas in 10 minutes and then walked up the path to the 2 monasterys at Grand Meteora which took about 45 minutes. All the monasterys are stunning. We asked the hotel about seeing the sunset from sunset rock and they organised a 2 hour taxi tour by Panos at Meteorataxi which was brilliant and Panos was very knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. We had a very memorable evening and would recommend it to anyone. We came to Kistraki by train from Athens and the staff at the hotel helped with everything we needed. We also cought the local bus outside the hotel to St Stephens Monastery and then walked to The Holy Trinity where you can find the path that leads back down to Kalambaca which takes about an hour and is great but would be very slippy if wet. Kalambaca to Kastraki takes a out 45 minutes to walk back to or you can get a bus. Loads of local taverns to eat at in Kastri. The receptionist even made us a pack lunch on the day we left as we were to early for breakfast which was a lovely touch. It's a perfect place to stay.

The Hotel had amazing views of Meteora. We were taken around the monastery’s by a private driver named Panos set up by the hotel. He had tremendous knowledge of the history and knew incredible places to eat. We absolutely loved it. Well worth the perfect visit!

Friendly staff. Beautiful wood work throughout the building. Nice breakfast in the morning. We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast to get on our bus to the train station. A nice hotel, quiet, helpful staff, nice breakfast, However, the Expedia map location is WRONG. It is a 30 minute uphill walk from central Kalabaka, not a 5 min walk. Take a taxi for about 5 Euros.

Great location extremely close to the Meteora monasteries. There are also several eateries close-by within walking distance if you don't have a car. The beds were incredibly comfortable - the best of all the places we stayed, and there was a large and varied breakfast spread, though the options were not as tasty as other hotels we stayed at in Greece.

This hotel was located close to the monasteries with great view of it. The staff were all very friendly. Parking was a bit of an issue. Luckily there weren’t that many guests during my stay. The room was small but felt like an actual hotel. The shower head couldn’t stay still and kept falling. Other than that, great hotel.

We stayed in the Suite (Panoramic Meteora View) room. We booked a two-day Meteora tour from Athens but booked this hotel separately. Maybe it was our lack of understanding of the area but the hotel is in Kastraki (city? area?) that is a bit far from the city center of Kalabaka. Restaurant choices are very limited around the hotel but it is closer to Meteora. For us, it turned out to be a bit inconvenient. The hotel building was rated quite high so I was a bit surprised how old the building was. The room smelled like an old apartment. The shower was really small and it was kind of odd. Based on their rating, I expected more. A/C in the room worked fine. Wifi was adequate. The view from the room was okay. You can see Meteora rock formations from the room but "panoramic Meteora view" seems to be an overstatement. Breakfast was nice and they offered many choices. You need to walk about 5 minutes to the closest ATM machine if you need cash for visiting monasteries. I recommend staying near the city center of Kalabaka.

Due à une erreur sur l’emplacement de l’hôtel sur la carte d’expedia, nous pensions que l’hôtel était à Kalambaka, mais il est à Kastraki (5min de taxi de Kalambaka). La vie nous a fait un cadeau! Nous avons vraiment préféré être à Kastraki! C’est beaucoup plus tranquille que Kalambaka, il y a plusieurs resto très bien évalué, nous avions une très belle vue sur plusieurs monastère et nous avons pu en visiter un à pieds. Pour nous, l’emplacement de l’hôtel était parfait! Les gens du village était très sympathique - ambiance village! Et le personnel de l’hôtel était aussi très sympathique! Notre balcon avait une superbe vue sur 2 monastères! Belle vue en se levant le matin!

Fabulous hotel and setting. Excellent staff who are very helpfull and tell you the best way to get to what you want to see. The rooms are supurb and large and very quiet with good aircon. Breakfast is excellent with plenty to eat. We walked to St Nicholas in 10 minutes and then walked up the path to the 2 monasterys at Grand Meteora which took about 45 minutes. All the monasterys are stunning. We asked the hotel about seeing the sunset from sunset rock and they organised a 2 hour taxi tour by Panos at Meteorataxi which was brilliant and Panos was very knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. We had a very memorable evening and would recommend it to anyone. We came to Kistraki by train from Athens and the staff at the hotel helped with everything we needed. We also cought the local bus outside the hotel to St Stephens Monastery and then walked to The Holy Trinity where you can find the path that leads back down to Kalambaca which takes about an hour and is great but would be very slippy if wet. Kalambaca to Kastraki takes a out 45 minutes to walk back to or you can get a bus. Loads of local taverns to eat at in Kastri. The receptionist even made us a pack lunch on the day we left as we were to early for breakfast which was a lovely touch. It's a perfect place to stay.

Etwas überraschend war, daß es zum--ansonsten sehr guten--Frühstück Espresso nur gegen Aufpreis gegeben hätte... Aber das ist eine relative Kleinigkeit, im übrigen haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt, und für die Rundfahrt zu den Klöstern könnte das Haus kaum besser liegen. Auch die Restaurantauswahl rundum ist gut!

Breakfast not included (rare for 4stars hotel) and because we booked the room through Expedia we weren’t given the option to select and pay for breakfast in advance and thank god for that as we had 2 rooms (4 adults) and was going to cost us €80. Mediocre breakfast and pricy what it offers compared with all the other hotels that we stayed in Greece. Nice personnel at reception desk, great location. Ok overall

Easy to find, easy parking, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet had lots of options. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance but the hotel is calm And quite. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

But it wasn’t very usable-.kind of rundown. The door to the balcony was difficult to open. And because of how the curtains were, you couldn’t really see the view out the window. The room was a little bit light at night. We like a dark room. Overall, it was a nice stay.
