Parking lot had many strange trucks and a few sketchy looking people

I booked a last minute stay here only to arrive and find the room I booked wasn't even available. Since the stay was non refundable, I took the only room I was offered. They called it an upgrade, but I dont consider switching from a 2 queen suite to a regular king room to be an upgrade. Had to go get linens from the front desk for the sofa bed since there were none in the room. Multiple things were in need of repair (obnoxious flashing light by 2nd floor elevator, ice machine on 2nd floor, juice machine at breakfast). I would definitely look for a different place to stay next time.

The property was fine, but my room was next to the lobby with the lobby TV joining the wall on my room. The TV was on until 2:30 AM, so I could not get much sleep as it was loud enough to keep me awake. The workout area could use new equipment. The breakfast was VERY GOOD and the staff were very friendly.

Water in shower was not hot at all. Pool was ice cold.

First the pool was out of order and evidently had been for months, but no mention of that on Expedia. We had booked the hotel for the pool for the kids, so that was quite disappointing. When I turned down the sheets in the bed I first noticed a lot of debris or flecks of dirt, and then I saw a tiny crawling bug in the fold of the sheets. NOPE. We checked out immediately, but were told we could not be refunded since we had booked through Expedia

While I really like this hotel and the staff the two times I’ve been there something has been out of service. The first time was the elevator and we were on the third floor with a baby and our rooms heat was not working. And the second time the pool was not open. I wish we would have been made aware of these things before we booked.

Everything was great except for the pool. My teenagers went swimming and said it smelled and felt like there was bleach in the pool, it even bleached their swimming suits which is very disappointing because now they’ll need new suits!

Your Hotel was the cleanest we have been in.

The conditions of the room was poor. There was mildew in the corners of the tub. The tub drained extremely slow. The floor at the entrance was sticky. The fridge didn’t work, however the staff was very prompt in getting a working one into the room. There was no coffee maker in the room and the HVAC system was an older model that had no fan setting to circulate the stale air. Breakfast was limited in selection but tasted okay. Staff were extremely polite and friendly. Over priced for the quality of the stay.

When we checked into our room, the room had not been cleaned. The beds weeenr made and rhere were still dirty towels on the floor. We had to tell the maid. We the. Had to go back to the front desk and be issued a new room. The bathroom shower was weak and the water was cold.

Everything was very clean in our room and around the facility. All the staff were very friendly!!

We had 2 rooms and both smelled like pee. It’s obvious the bathroom cleaning is really really bad. We even had to wipe the floors.

1st I will say that Lavet & the guy at chk in were very kind, polite & they tried to be helpful through my stay. Here’s where it all went wrong.. This place should not be accepting reservations until the black mold issue is resolved. The 1st room i was issued smelled like wet dog, & the ac vent was covered in black mold. Went & got a rm change, same issue, black mold in AC, 3rd room the front desk guy accompanied me to, he assured me that they would make sure I had a spotless room (that never happened), same issue, black mold in the vents of the AC. The mgr assured me they would find me a room that was clean, she had cleaning staff go over the next room they were going to put me in. I waited nearly 30 minutes for that to happen. Upon entering the 4th room, inspected the AC unit & cleaning staff simply sprayed some sort of cleaner into the vent & half heartedly cleaned the visible vent. Under the paneling, you could see where there was an overgrowth of black mold. Crossed paths w/ mgr in the Commons area & she asked me if everything was OK, I told her it was not, that I would just have to sleep w/ the AC unit off because I don’t have Faith that any rm I’m put in will have a clean AC unit that does not have an overgrowth of mold. She let me know that I could request a refund to go elsewhere. I booked through Expedia and there was nothing else available in the area, I was stuck. I req district mgr to contact me & I still have not received a phone call 4 days later.

Very clean, great air quality in the room is one thing I look for. Hotel looks updated and the breakfast was amazing!! Great stay.

BEDBUGS!!! Had to switch rooms at 1:30am because there were bedbugs in the bed!! Disgusting! Originally planned to stay for 2 nights, but after switching rooms, then the fire alarm going off at 7am, got no sleep, decided to check out and find other accommodations…received the worst customer service from the front desk clerk, not only when checking out but also at check in! He made sure to let me know I’d be charged for both nights…I protested saying I’d like to talk to the manager about being reimbursed for the inconveniences the night before, he said multiple times that there was NOTHING he could do and his manager left at 3…he wouldn’t call his manager, literally said “not sure what you want me to do”…I was beyond frustrated! I will NEVER stay at this location again! Told the next guy in line to make sure he checks his room for bedbugs and left!! Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!!!

If you are traveling with babies, you should know they don’t provide a crib even though it lists cribs to be one of their available service items. When we arrived to check-in, the staff wasn’t aware that we requested for two cribs through the Expedia message function (poor communication) and he said that they don’t have any at all. His explanation was that they lost cribs a while ago during renovations and never able to locate them. What was more frustrating was that we weren’t not the first customer who had this inconvenience as he said this happened a month ago so he had to told the same thing to the other customer. I understand that this unfortunate situation could happen once but then they should have either update the misinformation on the website or gotten a crib for future customers to avoid the same inconvenience to others. Not alone, the bathroom was extremely dirty (disgusting hairs in the tub, yikes!!).

We had to change rooms due to the TV not working properly. The new room's air conditioner wasn't working properly.

Staff was good and room was clean. However, it was difficult to sleep well due to noise from countless kids on sports teams making noise all night and apparently poor sound insulation. Not relaxing at all.

I was not happy waking up at 6 because of the brightness in the room. The blinds were a thin see through mesh curtain. The sun came in the room at around 6:15 and that’s when I was fully awake up and could not fall back to sleep. I did not get rest because of this. Very disappointed.

First the good: the hotel was very clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Second, it took us an hour to get checked in. I paid for my room in full, but when we got there she said she couldn’t do the check-in because I owed an additional amount of over $100. I told her I wasn’t going to pay any more money. I called your customer service and she told me not to pay anything and they had to check me in. After the girl at check in talked to the manager she said that she was going to check us in and they would fix everything in the morning. I used my debit card for the $20 incidental check and when I checked my account she also put a $99.38 hold on my card without my authorization. The girl in the morning said that they weren’t going to charge anything but it would take a couple days to fall off. It finally did today. I am very angry about this and don’t feel they should have put a charge on my card without my permission.

They placed us and in two separate rooms that were occupied by other families we walked in on. The third room smelled like a dead animal. The fourth room we agreed to stay in had a stained shower. Customer service was terrible!

Front desk team was exemplary! We arrived much earlier than expected. We were given an extremely early check in. Staff was most accommodating and very thoughtful.

Good choice of hotel not too far away from Michigan State although you will definitely need a car. Hotel was clean, parking and breakfast was good

This was a nice quiet place to stay, close to shopping. The hotel was tucked away on a side road not a main thoroughfare so there was very little traffic. It was nice and clean, hand sanitizer by the elevator. It appears they really care about the safety of their guests.

Staff was excellent!! Including the check in person, the very personable and outgoing "breakfast" lady, also professional. Also includes cleaning staff. Property was hard to find being behind office buildings and with no large signage!

Stay was good. Bed was comfy and clean. Breakfast was the best part. Friendly staff. The room did have a very odd strange smell.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with family. Overall, the stay was decent—clean rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location. However, the breakfast experience was a big letdown. They recently installed an automated pancake machine, and unfortunately, the pancakes tasted like plastic—completely inedible. The overall breakfast options were very limited and of noticeably low quality. For a hotel catering to families and longer stays, we expected better variety and fresher options. It’s a shame because everything else about the stay was pleasant, but breakfast definitely needs a serious upgrade. If you’re planning to stay here, you might want to make alternate breakfast plans.

Best hotel breakfast that I’ve had. The lady taking care of the dining area and putting out the fresh food was very kind and doing an incredible job keeping the area clean. She deserves a raise for being in such a good mood and working so hard on Easter morning! Our room was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely come back!
