The staff were so friendly and helpful, we parked our car in the car park before check in time and went and had lunch, came back to be told they upgraded us to an apartment they have around the corner for more comfort and convenience, what a surprise and it sure did make our two day stop over complete. Jervis Bay is stunning!

Only issues we had were - walls were a bit thin, next door smoked on balcony which drifted in so had to close window & on one morning the bin wagons came very early which woke us. Located in an excellent position in the Main Street, close to the water, the shops and eating establishments. Our room was clean and tidy. The staff member we dealt with was very helpful and friendly. It is an older style building but has had some renovations. The bathroom was on the smaller side but was modern and sufficient for our short stay. There’s water glimpses from the top floor, lots of parking availability and a charging station for electric vehicles. The only down side for me personally was the flight of stairs I had to climb with my sore knee (no lift) - though for most people, it wouldn’t be a concern.

Pros: Nice location. Plenty of parking space. Provides three beds which is perfect for family with two kids. Cons: The bed sheet is very stained, and has visible dirty spot and hairs. It looks like they did not change our bed sheet for our stay. When we found about this there were nobody onsite to help us. There is no laundry available. I had to drive about 7 minutes and pay $20 to do laundry. Not worth the USD $384 price.

The room was dusty with lots of cobwebs and there was mould in the bathroom . The second day we were there the room was only half cleaned. They forgot to make the bed. I don’t think we will stay there again.

Positives - Location was great, right in the heart of town. Comfortable bed and good facilities in the room. Negatives - I think the walls are made of paper. We could hear everything from the room next door (conversations, snoring, tv, etc.), and the air-conditioning unit located directly outside our window sounded like a helicopter was landing all through the night. Noise from the street was pretty loud, however that's one of the drawbacks with it being right in the middle of town. We would stay at the Jervis Bay Motel again; I'd just have to remember to bring ear plugs.

My wife and I stayed at the Jervis Bay Motel for two nights in October 2023. The Motel is ideally located, very close to all Huskisson attractions. The room is fairly basic, reasonably sized and had everything we needed. It is also quiet and we slept well. The Staff were also very helpful. All in all, not the Ritz but it had everything we needed.

Great stay (3 full days -4 nights) and very good location. Staff very helpful and friendly. We had an upstairs ocean view room. Parking directly behind the motel. Our only negative, the nosey local bin collection on the Tuesday and Friday at about 5.30am. Overall, was not too busy when we visited (mid Nov). Plenty of options for eating out though we self catered except for fish and chips one night. The small supermarket was expensive so we drove to nearby Coles. Weather wasn’t too hot which was good for walking. Walked from motel to Hyman beach and back on good and mostly level paths. Visited Murrays Beach and walked the circular walk to view coast and Bowen Island. Trail was wide and well used. On one morning took the Jervis Bay Wild - Jervis Bay Passage Boat Trip when the weather and conditions were good. Was very good and worth doing to give an overview of the Bay. Also walked to Museum but the board walk through the mangrove was unfortunately closed. In conclusion a good place to stay and within half a day drive from Sydney Airport. The drive itself was scenic with many things to see en route.
