My tub had mold in it and the bathroom ceiling was molded too...the room was clean. But no one was there in the office at check out time.If you reserve the room online, they surprise you with a pet fee for each animal at check in. No bed bugs in my room.Staff at check in was friendly.

There was hair (human, animal, AND unidentifiable) on all the pillows and sheets. There were stains on the top cover. The top cover was thinner than the curtain so the bedding was basically two sheets. The sink had ramen crumbs in it. The tub was in disrepair. The towels looked 20 years old. And the air was heavy with the smell of old cigarettes. The walls are thin enough to hear CLEARLY all the traffic and the neighbors. The front desk clerk checked me in and gave me the room key without checking my ID. It wasn't until I was walking out the door that they asked for my ID. Do not stay here.

The stay was passable. The room was dirty and dead bugs in the corners. The bathroom looked like someone had exploded all over the wall and was not 100% cleaned up. The bathroom sink was clogged by old grapes as well. The beds were clean at least. The covers were very clean and the staff was nice.

The hotel was nothing like what was shown in the pics. First got to the room and it was dirty, and air conditioner did not work. Was moved to another room which was a little better. NO continental breakfast as stated. This is one more thing that I was most looking for.

I would love to post the photos and videos I took of this disgusting stay. The bathroom, covered in Pube hair. The bathtub, not cleaned or even remotely sanitary. I have photos and videos of myself wiping it off and washing it. The toilet, had stains of someone else’s fecal matter. The bed? Covered in hair, and stains still wipale, telling me that nobody removed and washed them after the previous occupants. The pillow cases, dirty and stained. The towels, still had makeup and brown matter on them. I felt very disgusted staying there, because it was so late, I was there for a job, I couldn’t cancel last minute and find elsewhere to stay. I was very tempted to go sleep in my car instead. This was the most horrifying experience at a motel. Please take your $ and book a different stay, if you have any kind of standards. Front desk was slurring during check in. It being so late, I didint question it. I’m taking my photos and videos to YELP. Next.

This place has been “renovated” but the money has run out. The door to the room had been kicked it and barely repaired. The staff were very nice and were understanding when we said we couldn’t possibly stay there.

The TV in the room would not turn on with remote. Also, the electric outlet by desk did not work. Room was very narrow and it was cramped with two people in it. Desk chair was over sized and made it hard to get between desk and bed. Food and service were excellent.

The room was ok until i was trying to leave at check out. I grabbed the handle and the handle came out in my hand. I had to call the front desk to exit. Overall price was good for a smoking room.

I didnt expect much but the window and bathroom door were broke. A huge crack in the only window and the door's top hinge was pulled out of the frame.

The floor and walls were dirty, the door to the bathroom was broken, the mini fridge leaked all over the floor and almost caused my father in law to fall. Mind you hes disabled and the A/C didnt work at all. It was hot all night. The staff clearly did not get paid enough for all that.

Check-in was unprofessional and awkward. Clerk was sitting in entrance couch, whole body splayed out, while she was eating some microwaved slop and focused on her phone. Instead of greeting, she opened with, "Do you need something?" Upon being behind the counter, she was inattentive, as if I were a distraction for her to get back to her phone. The room uses Styrofoam cups for coffee -- exactly opposite to eco-aware. Carpet hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Don't go barefoot on these carpets. Other customers were permitted to stay in the parking lot late into the night, with their noises. Poor location -- no real healthy food options nearby.

Breakfast is not available. They had a sign in the lobby that said it was discontinued because of Covid. My visit was in July 2024, so that excuse really isn’t viable anymore. The rate was very inexpensive, so you certainly get what you pay for. It was fine for a quick sleep stop after a long drive. The clerk behind the counter was very nice and accommodating.

Best part was the customer service and quickness of any concern or necessities for the room. Mgmnt was even approachable and friendly. Overall I am pleased with everything during my stay at Hill Country in Copperas Cove, Texas and would suggest to my friends & family to experience on their next outing.

The gal at the desk was very courteous and helpful. As we were getting ready to leave, after a one night stay. We met Cathy the housekeeper. She is a precious soul!

I had not planned to stay in Copperas Cove and had some problems turn up that required some work on a house I own there. The Hill Country Inn was close to the house and was reasonable in price. It had all I need for a night sleep and was clean and quiet.

Our beds were clean and comfortable and it was quiet. The room needs some serious updating though. The towel bars are rusted, toilet paper holder was broken, faucet handle was loose and the toilet kept running, the bath towel was stained.

I had to do a long drive and stopped in the middle of the night for a little rest and the staff was very friendly, quick to get me in my room, and the place was super quiet so I was able to go right to sleep. Great place!

I should have read reviews first. My big mistake. Non smoking room that smelled so horrible. Had to buy air freshener. Advertised breakfast with nice breakfast lobby and was told they have nog done that since Covid. Bed so hard and very poor quality linens. New flooring in room so have tried to upgrade just so run down in bathrooms etc. I did not feel safe outside due to apparently louder group who sitting outside apparently staying long term. We paid for 2 nights but left at around 5 on second day prior to actually even trying to stay there again. Decided would rather drive the 10 hr home

They put us in a room that had a broken glass window and it would not close. The door would lock, but could be pushed open. It smelled like an ashtray, and was not safe at all. They moved us, but it still smelled bad, and there were sketchy people outside and very noisy all night long.
