This hotel was clean and nice and had reasonable price which both are very important but the elevator was not working which is terrible and very negative point for a hotel. one of the most important reason for me to book in this hotel was the elevator availability,since i had bad experience with another hotel, and when i checked in i asked the receptionist is there elevator available here? and he said yes but when i wanted to use it i saw"out of order" sign on it and it was really disappointing. people who stay in hotel have suitcases and not all of them are young and strong to carry their suitcases up and down stairs so elevator is very important for a hotel. Also staff member should know about their hotel conditions and avoid providing wrong information to the guests. i was able to book another hotel with much cheaper price than this one but because they did not have elevator I avoided them and paid much more for this hotel only i found out that elevator does not work i am very dis appointed. Thanks

Great location for first time visitors travelling from interstate: Room was wrongly configured but this was immediately rectified for us. Undercover parking was especially useful since it was summer and hot.

Overall a wonderful and lovely place to stay. Unfortunately, one evening we came back late after attending a wedding and it was really ubsafe to get back to our room, as tge lights in the courtyard were turned off. No safe in the rooms as well, which was disappointing. A couple of things to tweak, overall lovely.

What a remarkable discovery Wildes Hotel was. Recently refurbished, everything about our stay was perfect. From the friendly check-in, beautifully spacious and modern rooms, bikes to ride, stunning pool area, delicious restaurant and on-site parking with elevator access. Most importantly, we could bring our furry friend along, with a dog bed provided. It is well positioned on the main street of KV, amongst cute little boutiques and cafes and opposite the Friendly Inn which has a great outdoor area that is dog friendly, a great restaurant and Sunday Farmers Markets. We will 100% be back. Thanks for a great stay!

Cute place, very spacious clean room. Pool dirty and filled with leaves and bush and many insects, not clean enough to swim in sadly and cushions were laid out one day and the next they weren’t. Pool not maintained well. Courtyard lights unfortunately never went on for evenings.. would have been really cosy. Lacked vibe. Overpriced but loved hot shower and soft bed. No dinner available at restaurant in hotel on Sundays.

Cute boutique hotel in the middle of Kangaroo Valley amongst all the shops and close to dining options. Smaller property with charm, not overly busy and very relaxing with great surroundings with green leafy outlook.The room was very roomy, small outdoor courtyard, great hot water pressure, small fridge and some basic utensils (no cook top, but has a microwave). Lovely pool and lounge chairs. The free parking was very secure and off road under the property, great to enable day trips. Breakfast was excellent and the outdoor dining areas were also great. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Wildes is the jewel in the crown of Kangaroo Valley. What an incredibly beautiful property! The rooms are very tastefully decorated and large. Bathrooms are fantastic with rainfall shower heads! The beds are super comfy. The exterior terrace and pool area reminiscent of The Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, California. So pretty with all the hanging lights at night. The breakfast menu is excellent with a good variety of choices. Coffees are perfect! Staff are extremely friendly. The underground parking was a lovely surprise. I’ve recommended Wildes to friends and family and will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The room was really spacious and had all amenities. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The bathroom seemed to attract a huge number of flies and bugs so would be worth investigating that. Overall brilliant stay!

Rating: 2/5 – Disappointed with the comfort, but appreciated the late checkout We booked two rooms for a winter stay expecting a comfortable experience. Unfortunately, one room had no air conditioning or heating, and despite our request, no portable heater was provided. It was extremely cold, and my boys struggled to sleep. We were given only one extra blanket for four people. The ground floor room had no view and felt especially cold. The toilet wasn't clean on arrival but was cleaned upon request. On a positive note, the hotel did offer a complimentary late checkout until 11:30am, which we appreciated. The stay could have been much better if both rooms had proper heating.

Stayed as part of a family trip (2 rooms) over the new year. Easy check in and out, and nice spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds, lovely courtyard area outside, and a great base to relax or explore the region.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had and excellent coffee in the restaurant in the late afternoon when all the coffee shops in Kangaroo Valley were closed for the day. The only complaint we had was that there was a constant noise coming from what sounded like a commercial dryer or maybe a generator and it continued late into the night. When we woke on Sunday morning it was no longer going but soon started up again. It did spoil our stay unfortunately.

Perfectly situated in the centre of town with fresh rooms with kitchenette and breakfast table. new bathrooms and nice lounge with coffee table and large tv. Comfortable king bed and small balcony with table and chairs. Our trip was marred by noisy guests next door who stayed up til 4am however that was not the hotels fault.

Beautiful building, well-designed and welcoming. Friendly and professional staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. The only drawback was the beds, quite soft and not very comfortable if you're used to a firmer bed.

Lovely property great room and the most comfortable bed l have slept on. After having dinner at the local hotel and returning to our room there was no tea bags in our room. Unfortunately the office was unattended as it was after dinner so l rang the number provided but nothing happened not even the next day when l called in to the office they were unaware of my call. Fortunately the Lovely lady on that day apologized and gave me some.

Centred in the township of Kangaroo Valley this made for a spectacular one night stay to wander the quaint shops, spot the real kangaroos hanging out in the school, have a relaxed breakfast on site and vibe it out at the hotel across the road. Ideal stay inbetween the Coast and the Highland.

Single night stay in November on a Sunday night. Definitely not a busy evening - could only check in till 1800 but made welcome on arrival. Room was immaculate, very comfortable and quiet despite being at the front of the property. Bizarrely no chef the following morning so given a breakfast voucher for cafe down the road which was fine.

Lovely small unique place, very spacious rooms. EXCELLENT breakfast, it's definitely worth adding this to the booking as any items from the breakfast menu can be chosen (egg benedict etc).
