Room was quiet apart from any noise made in the corridor which could be clearly heard through the door. Bed was very comfortable. Curtains in need of repairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, only one of us was able to use the pool as although there was a rail, the first step into the pool is far too low to manage with knee/agility issues. Needs to be another step to make access easy. Very disappointed at not being able to enjoy the lovely looking pool.

We stayed at the Apollo for one night. The room was spacious very tidy had everything that you needed for the night, including a mini bar if required in room service. We dined in the restaurant and the food was amazing and enjoy the happy hour cocktails. Lovely swimming pool and outdoor area for families plenty of parking underneath as well as outside as we had a trailer and the hotel was happy to accommodate us.

I have excellent stay, except nit enough parking , I took 20 minutes to find parking, I in up parking at the front entrance then go in to check in, then went under cover, but only 3 parking left so I decided not to go anywhere, only because I don't want to go out then coming back with nowhere to park my car. But other than that I have a quiet stay, cleanliness are perfect. Enjoy and love to go back one day, and recommend to my friends.

Dated, dirty and in need of some major refurbishments. Couch was covered in stains, mini fridge filthy inside and out, NO HOT WATER at all, bedding light and split system rattled, room was cold and draft from the two balcony doors, one balcony door didn’t lock at all so we put a chair in front of it. Check out was very dismissive and not welcoming at all. Really disappointed in this stay.

The hotel staff is pretty nice and friendly. I had an wonderful experience with their greetings and help. However, the hotel rooms are old and outdated. The room facilities are like the 2000s and it's time to renovate them. Very limited lights are in the room, resulting the down quite dark at night even if all the lights are on.

It was a very nice hotel.. I don’t want to say a bad word but the shower/bath situation was a bit dangerous . I nearly slipped in the bath when I was getting out of the shower. Bed was great Internet was a bit slow and our movie kept stopping lots. I gave up on watching. It was a good location though. Great to have an onsite restaurant, not that we used it but we did order room service in the evening and that was good.

Great three night stay. There was a mix up the first night. Got our proper room the next two nights. Got offered free brekky or a discount room rate. They were brilliant in reception and nothing was a problem for them. We will definitely stay here again. Great room and comfy big bed. We ate there one night. Food was so so. Can’t fault any of the staff. They were brilliant.

This was our first stay at the Apollo and everything was great. Our check in was easy as was the parking. Our room was clean. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both meals were lovely. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be staying here again.

Good sized rooms and cleanliness. A lot of the little extras and amenities are really good conpared to alot of other big chain motel/inns. Plenty of free parking around the property. Dining was an easy option and goood quality though I thought the continental breakfast was a bit on the expensive side, definitely preferred the hot meal options.

Very nice, well maintained. Improvements needed on the breakfast supplied. The hot food left alot to be desired but easily fixed Scrambled egg, had a green tinge because the eggs had been in the warmer to long. This is rectified by replacing the eggs every hour. I observed the kitchen staff pouring new hot food on top of the old product. This would be more professional if the complete dish was removed from the warmer and replaced with the new dish containing the new product.

I have has a number of extended stays at this property over the past month. Everything about each stay has been exemplary. Food at the restaurant is excellent and staff customer service has been outstanding. Parking is easy and the location is within a few minutes drive from the largest shopping mall in Newcastle.
