The property outside the lobby area has seen better days. Older building. Rooms are tiny, with tile floors. The units have no windows except in bathroom area. Overall if you need access to nearby popular attractions, this is the perfect stay for a day or two. Staff is very helpful and prompt depending on the time of day. Be aware that this property has no elevator or handicap access.

Loved it ! The chairs in the waiting area were so comfortable. We were so happy there is a ATM in the lobby. However, it wasn’t working the day/night we got there. They ended up fixing it after two days out of our four night stay. We booked two rooms 1for me and my fiancé and the other for my parents. Mine had a fan and my parents didn’t. My parents had a tough time sleeping due to the heat so we put our fan in their room and requested for a fan for our room, which we didn’t receive until the last night of our stay due to me talking to the gentleman on the night shift. He stated to be persistent to the morning lady because guest leave daily and she should have had someone give us the fan. Due to lack of communication someone had gave the fan meant for us to a diff room. Besides the fan situation , it was a great stay. There is no designated parking but we had our car in a 24 hour parking lot behind the oxxo. They only accepted cash/pesos and they took real good care of the cars.

No parking at all, smallest room ever , air conditioning dripping water in the bed ask for an umbrella , and they still charging me 2x in the app and they make m pay cash cause the transaction wasn’t paid, I did then next day they charged me again and nxt day same transaction, so am gonna try to get my money !! Worse experience ever , going back there NEVER!!! Money Back,

The checkin staff was excellent but not once during my 3 day stay was I offered maid service. They never came to make the bed, offer more towels, or sweep and mop the tile floor in my room. Despite being a relatively new hotel the keys for the doors are old school keys which come attatched to a rather large keychain which is a pain to carry around. The balcony room I rented was a little disappointing as the beds are extemely small. I was supposed to have a queen bed but it was about the size of a full sized bed. Thankfully it was just me because if I had anyone else in the room we'd fight over sleeping space. The hotel is across the street from a night club which blasts music you can hear in your room until Midnight on weeknights and 4am on weekends. Bring ear plugs. The hotel does not have an elevator so you will need to be physically able to climb and descend stairs.

ROOM 302 Pros: Location Cons: -Music is non stop 24 hours -Other customers loud -Staff walks around with jiggly keys and phone talking loudly -Rooms are dirty -bathroom was not cleaned -Roaches in our room -Beds uncomfortable (need replacement) - Shower temperature hard to regulate (either boiling hot or cold) We were moved for our second night because no refunds. ROOM 301 was much cleaner- no roaches in the bathroom and clean NO A/C or Heater in any room. If your room is hot they’ll give you a fan.

No fue lo mejor porque da la sensacion de un lugar sucio, solo les preocupa la recepción, obvio para engañar a la gente, las teles, algunas no sirven, las sábanas super viejas parecen sucias

Hotel is located in the middle of all the main attractions food restaurants clubs hotels. It is very noisy due to the night life which is ok if youre just using the room to sleep for few hours. The rooms need a lot of TLC they smell of cigarette smoke not sure why because the hotel is a no smoking hotel. The restrooms reek of urine odor really bad and I found what appeared to be hair i hope from someones head on the bed sheets and pillows were stained luckily i took disposable pillow covers and sheets. I booked 2 rooms because of the number of guests in my party both rooms were just as bad. Again if youre just gonna use the room to sleep its a bargain because of the location just dont expect to quiet and clean

My room looked almost nothing like in the picture. One of the walls were patched and the bathroom door seemed broken. The Tv didn’t work and the bed sheets had stains on them. Of course they put all these pretty pictures on their website but once you’re there you see how it really is, and there are no refunds.

The tv didn’t work , the towels were tearing apart because how old they were , and you can’t open the window for fresh air because there is generator outside of the hotel and basically you just inhale the carbon dioxide

Hotel was located near to a 24 hour disco bar. My room vibrated like an earthquake due to disco speaker base noise. Building vibrated like it was being destroyed by seismic waves. So loud one could get ear damage inside your room.

Las habitaciones son muy chicas y es mucho el ruido parece que estás en un motel y se escucha todo. Los colchones pésimos en muy mal estado rechinan por todo y con huecos muy incómodos para dormir.

Tucked away in downtown Tijuana on a very busy street teaming with pedestrians, music pouring out of the many nightclubs and bars, craftsmen selling their wares from small storefronts and a seemingly endless variety of wonderful eateries is one of Tijuana's best kept secrets when it comes to affordable lodging. Surrounded by newer, flashy and definitely more expensive options Hotel Revolution could easily be overlooked for it's simple simplicity, which would be a definite shame for any seasoned traveler. Although not perhaps as showy or modern as it's overpriced neighboring hotels, it harkens you back to a quieter, more traditional time in the city's history where emphasis was still placed on great hospitality, simple and careful attention to detail, a respect for privacy and an assurance of a safe, quiet nights rest. Traditional quilted bedspreads and the wonderful strong black coffee that percolates 24-7 in the lobby are only outdone by the room with a sizable jacuzzi in it, a steal at less than 60 USD per night. This is the kind of establishment that upon returning home from one's travels will linger in the back of your memory as a definite reason to return for future visits.

Muy mala recepción, y en la limpieza deberían de darse cuenta las cosas como las dejan ahora tengo que pagar una toalla que me imagino fue de tinte de pelo color azul ahora tengo que pagar por ella, cuando los ineptos no revisaron que así me la habían dado, no vuelvo a regresar muy mal servicio en 2 días que estuvimos no fueron a limpiar el cuarto y vuelvo a repetir ahora resulta que tengo que pagar una toalla que yo no manche, cuidado tal ves así les hagan a otros clientes

Very unprofessional, after a long trip my friend and i arrived to check in and they had given my room to the person that stood the night before and wanted to extend their stay even though it was already booked. Then they said we could get 2 rooms but have to pay the extra even though it was the hotels error, i cancelled my reservation and will never stay there or recommend anyone to stay there, first and last experience with this hotel and it was horrible.

Yo hice recervacion con mucho tiempo me pase buscando este hotel por horas y lo reserve. Y cuando llegamos a hotel nos cobraron 300.00 pesos mas, no respetan el precion. Cuando reserve salio en 41.00 dolares la noche por dos noches y nos cobraron 56.00 dolares por cada noche, estoy muy molesta por eso. Los pagamos porque llegamos muy cansados, y lo que queriamos era descansar. Pero no vuelvo a llegar ahi, estaba muy caliente y no tienen aire acondicionado, con tranajos nos dieron un abanico. La cama muy incomoda hay que pedir hasta papel del bano. Lo unico bueno es que esta serca de todo, caminando. Pero hay muchos hotels ahi, que se llega caminando.

Yo hice recervacion con mucho tiempo me pase buscando este hotel por horas y lo reserve. Y cuando llegamos a hotel nos cobraron 300.00 pesos mas, no respetan el precion. Cuando reserve salio en 41.00 dolares la noche por dos noches y nos cobraron 56.00 dolares por cada noche, estoy muy molesta por eso. Los pagamos porque llegamos muy cansados, y lo que queriamos era descansar. Pero no vuelvo a llegar ahi, estaba muy caliente y no tienen aire acondicionado, con tranajos nos dieron un abanico. La cama muy incomoda hay que pedir hasta papel del bano. Lo unico bueno es que esta serca de todo, caminando. Pero hay muchos hotels ahi, que se llega caminando.

I been in this property like 5 times, is in the turist area, is old, kind od clean but no really, excellent value so you get what you paid for. This time i reserved jacuzzi room, i got there and they told me there was a problem with the room so they offered another room so i acepted, they gave me a room with no window no a.c. and super humid and hot and also didnt have water because was having the same problem as the jacuzzi room i reserved, is always a problem to watch tv in this hotel but this time the tv didnt even turned on, after 3 hours i just decided to leave, i tried to tell the guy in the reception but just got ignored

The checkin staff was excellent but not once during my 3 day stay was I offered maid service. They never came to make the bed, offer more towels, or sweep and mop the tile floor in my room. Despite being a relatively new hotel the keys for the doors are old school keys which come attatched to a rather large keychain which is a pain to carry around. The balcony room I rented was a little disappointing as the beds are extemely small. I was supposed to have a queen bed but it was about the size of a full sized bed. Thankfully it was just me because if I had anyone else in the room we'd fight over sleeping space. The hotel is across the street from a night club which blasts music you can hear in your room until Midnight on weeknights and 4am on weekends. Bring ear plugs. The hotel does not have an elevator so you will need to be physically able to climb and descend stairs.

Located in the heart of the action on Av. Revolution. All the entertainment, food, shopping is walkable. Loud at night because all of downtown Tijuana is loud at night. Earplugs did the trick. Staff was friendly albeit with limited English as is the norm there. If you're looking for a clean, basic, budget friendly place to sleep and shower downtown this place ticks all those boxes

This hotel has great location, it’s very close to Caesars, and steps away from convenient stores and MULLME, Jai Alai, etc It’s also next door to some popular bars. My room is towards the back and I honestly didn’t hear anything, so if you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room far away from street. The bathroom is on the simple side. It lacks a soap dish to place the shampoo and glasses. My room doesn’t have AC, but the weather is very cool when I visited so it was not an issue for me. There are always one or two staff members on my floor working, so I feel very safe. Front desk lady and gentleman are very polite and courteous. Free coffee and water in lobby. There’s also ATM in lobby.

Tucked away in downtown Tijuana on a very busy street teaming with pedestrians, music pouring out of the many nightclubs and bars, craftsmen selling their wares from small storefronts and a seemingly endless variety of wonderful eateries is one of Tijuana's best kept secrets when it comes to affordable lodging. Surrounded by newer, flashy and definitely more expensive options Hotel Revolution could easily be overlooked for it's simple simplicity, which would be a definite shame for any seasoned traveler. Although not perhaps as showy or modern as it's overpriced neighboring hotels, it harkens you back to a quieter, more traditional time in the city's history where emphasis was still placed on great hospitality, simple and careful attention to detail, a respect for privacy and an assurance of a safe, quiet nights rest. Traditional quilted bedspreads and the wonderful strong black coffee that percolates 24-7 in the lobby are only outdone by the room with a sizable jacuzzi in it, a steal at less than 60 USD per night. This is the kind of establishment that upon returning home from one's travels will linger in the back of your memory as a definite reason to return for future visits.

La habitación está muy bien. Diferente a otros hoteles pero interesante. El televisor puede ser un poco difícil de operar. Pero por el precio y la ubicación, se adapta a mis necesidades. La noche es ruido del exterior. Necesitará auricular para dormir bien.

Staff: The staff that I met during my stay at the hotel were very friendly and easy to communicate with making my check in and check out a breeze. The big issue I had with the staff was over the phone when I was trying to let them know that I would be arriving a few hours past the check-in time. The response I got and I\'m assuming that they didn\'t want to bother speaking with me even though the staff on the phone knew English. Before I could even finish talking...I was told that there was no room available even though my app clearly shows 7 rooms available. Very unprofessional and if hospitality isn\'t what you wanted. Simply don\'t work there! Facility: The hotel is what I about expected from a 2-3 star hotel with basic amenities. There isn\'t anything that stand out nor is there anything bad about the place. I choose the "balcony" the one with the floral grass background and swing. The balcony is nice in a sense that you can unwhine afterwards before heading to bed. Location: Hotel Revolucion is located in the main street where all the attractions happen. Being conveniently located at the center making navigating a breeze but the biggest ding is that this hotel also happens to be right next to a lounge/club and on the weekends...it does not closed until 4-5am in the morning. Yeah, that is a big deal breaker. Being in my room feeling the bass and music through the walls made sleeping was just impossible. I will either choose a room in the back or a different hotel next time.

I had previously booked for a junior suite 2 hours before my arrival got a message saying I no longer had that room and was offered a 2 bed room which I was okay with since I didn’t have a back up plan upon arrival front desk tells me we no longer have your room or have any rooms available then I showed him the email saying I had a 2 bed room and he said oh I see ok and he gave us a 2 bed which was horrible the building itself needs a lot of maintenance tv didn’t work bed sheets smelled really bad and for deposit they wanted to keep my ID
