The location is great for visiting the Sagrada Familia. The hotel is decent, they provide robes and slippers which is nice. The view of the church is incredible. We had a room with a bathtub, however the paint on the bathtub was peeling and there was no water faucet for the bathtub, only a shower head and sprayer. The breakfast was really good. The parking area is tight (just like every parking lot in Spain) but really convenient.

The view from the rooftop bar is amazing, drinks are pricy and a reservation is required, even for guests. We had to wait until after 3pm to access our rooms even though we arrived early and the staff knew we were eager for an early - or even on time - check in. Our shower seemed to leak not only onto the bathroom floor but through the wall into the bedroom, as a shirt that was on the bedroom floor was somehow soaked and we could only attribute it to the water we’d seen seeping out from the shower. The beds/pillows were not super comfortable as is pretty normal for a hotel. We had what looked like used to be a balcony but it was totally barricaded and the sliding door to access it seemed broken. The AC and power only ran with a keycard in the slot. Positives - the room was large for European hotel rooms (1 king bed), the bathroom was huge relatively speaking as well, the breakfast was good with lots of options, and the hotel was conveniently located next to a metro stop.

Amazing and breathtaking rooftop view and excellent service. Very pleasant stay. One of two elevators was not functioning, but the wait was never long. Very well situated and so, so close to la Sagrada Familia and metro station. Breakfast is not free, but variety is good. Room is spacious, especially the bathroom. Air conditioning is refreshing! I left a favourite jacket behind in the room and upon arriving home, I was directed to Sercotel’s lost and found program and they found my lost item and the process of mailing the item back to me was terrific. Bravo and gracias!

The Hotel is awesome. Very clean, staff were very pleasant and helpful to visit and work with. The Rooftop terrace was excellent and had a wonderful unbelievable closeup view of the Famalia Sagrada at night. Very important; Be sure to sign up/reserve a time right away especially for the evening to relax and have a drink/eat.

Clean room. The rooftop bar was absolutely amazing. No separate restaurant on-site except the rooftop bar. The breakfast was wonderfully including hot/cold food, and fresh fruit. Fresh orange juices squeezed by machine. Walkable to many tourist attractions. Many supermarkets nearby. Metro was convenient. Friendly English speaking staff. Our shower had a bad sewage smell. The hand wash, shampoo, and body wash were all watery. Hotel pickup service was a regular taxi wth a set price. The driver was nice.

Walking distance to familia sagrada. Restaurants, can leave bags before check in but the check in supposed to be 15:00,rooms not ready got in the room around 16:00,we're 2nd in the line to check in but the 3rd and 4th person that next to us got check in first before us.the rooftop is under maintenance.

This was a great location about a block away from Sagrada Familia. There are many restaurants and markets close by. The shower in my room was kind of moldy on the ceiling, but other than that it was really clean. The staff was so accommodating and helpful.

The view from our room and from the restaurant was incredible. The location is also great. It's a couple of blocks from the Metro station and everywhere is close by via the Metro. I wouldn't waste money on the cabs. I will say our bathroom had spot on the ceiling where mold was painted over. Other than that I would definitely recommend.

Häftigt läge med utsikt över La Sagrada Familia. Restaurang/bar på takterrassen för boende på hotellet. Fin och väldigt varierande frukostbuffé. Rummet hade ett fönster in mot hallen/entren, därav högt ljud som ekade från restaurangen och entrén sent in på kvällen. Fönstret gick att öppna men inte ställa upp. AC:n lät väldigt mkt. Vattnet rann över i duschen och ut i badrummet så vi fick använda handdukarna till att torka upp det. Vitt mögel i duschen, så det verkade inte städas noga. En sänglampa till dubbelsängen. En del skönhetsfel som förstörde helhetsupplevelsen, men helt ok för två nätter. Skulle inte boka här igen.

The hotel gave us a room that had mold in the shower and a severe water leak and damage to the room. To the point where the ceiling was dripping water and the floor was warped from previous water damage. There was also hair on our bathroom countertop..

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a good location for exploring Barcelona. There are some nice little bars if you wander away from the busy areas. The rooftop bar is excellent and probably has one of the best views in Barcelona. Our only concerns were the bathroom was in need of a refurbishment with grouting coming away from the tiles and the heated towel rail was covered in rust.

Heating was on quite high in the room, when I asked reception if we could change the temperature in the room as it was too warm to sleep they said only maintenance could do that and they weren’t available and we should sleep with the window open. With it being winter and very noisy outside sleeping with the window open did not make for a restful nights sleep. That being said the staff in the rooftop bar were very good and the view from the bar was amazing.

Location is fantastic... everything is within walking distance including the trains to get you anywhere you need to go, the staff were super helpful and nice. If you get a room facing Sagrada Familia, you will NOT be disappointed! I wish the windows in the room opened more as I was constantly burning up with only a sliver of fresh air as they turn off the a/c in "winter". The room was a touch out dated in the sense that bits of the wall were coming dislodged from the base board and there was some scuffing from the side table. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Loved the bathroom though my towel warmer did not work. Overall, it was a great stay and who can forget the rooftop bar with that incredible view (more ants than I care for though)!

Staying at Hotel Sercotel Rosellon was a good Idea. The Room was a little bit small without Balcony, the wall was very thin you can hear everything. The Toilett door was noisy. The hotel was not middle of the City. You have to take mostly taxi or bus.

The hotel’s location and room were good, and the view was truly extraordinary. However, the amenities did not meet the standard we expected from a 4-star hotel. We were unable to sleep for two nights due to excessive heat in the room. The thermostat could not be adjusted, and it became so uncomfortable that we had to request a standing fan just to get some rest. This significantly affected our stay. We also learned that other guests reported the same issue. Overall, if the temperature problem had not occurred, our stay would have been much more enjoyable.

The staff here are what made our stay great. They went above and beyond. I booked this hotel for my elderly aunt and I. She does not walk well, but her dream has always been to visit Spain. I did not know that the elevator doesn't go up to the terrace and there are 2 flights of stairs to get there. When the maintenance lady saw that we stopped at base of steps because we couldn't go up, she called in reinforcements. 2 burley gentleman helped get my aunt up the steps and she was able to see La Sagrada Familia and the gorgeous view. All of the front desk, cafe and restaurant staff were wonderful. Made this stay forever memorable for my aunt and I am so grateful

Location was great with access to the rooftop lounge. We loved that we were close to the Sagrada Familia, cafes, restaurants, and the Hop On Hop Off bus stop. Service and staff were incredibly nice and helpful. 100% recommend staying here and look forward to return for another stay and visit to this beautiful city.

The hotel was good. We arrived early from the cruise ship at 10.00am and they must have a lot of people doing the same. Our room wasn't available til nearly 3.30pm (Check in from 3.00PM) - so we had to walk around the city, they let us leave our bags at reception so that was a plus. The hotel is just around the corner from the Basílica de la Sagrada Família, which is good and only a few minutes walk from the subway train station, which you take to the main shopping area only 3 tops away. Best to buy a 10 trip ticket worth it at 12.50 Euros. The hotel has a roof top bar, but you need to be in quick as this is not just for hotel guest but the public who book to visit it - so space is limited for hotel guest. You can buy food & drink in the roof top bar which is good valve and we enjoyed the food options available. We went back the next night and pre-booked but the food part didn't open til late as they had a private booking for the day and part night so was disappointed as this is why we partly booked it for the view. Room was clean, but bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better with a little mould in the shower. But overall a good experience.

We chose this property for its great location for visiting La Sagrada Familia and the Sercotel Rosellon did not disappoint. We love the rooftop bar for its amazing view of La Sagrada Familia. The check-in staff, Grace, was outstanding. We appreciated Grace for going above and beyond to get us a room early since we arrived 7 hours before check-in time. Kudos to Grace!

The staff was wonderful. The folks at the front desk spoke beautiful English, had great tips for the city and always had a smile for us. The breakfast was reasonable and good. Rooftop bar was one of the best views of the Sagrada in the city. We even had a full moon. Wonderful place to stay.

The staff was very helpful and the location is very good. We had problems with the AC which was a major issue given the heat while we were there. Also, when we did get the AC working there was a strong sulfur smell. Additionally, there was some mold in the shower, which is an easy fix. The biggest issue is that we had left a “Do Not Disturb” on our door before going out for the day. When we returned the room had been cleaned everything moved and the AC was off. We had an early morning tour so had not secured a number of items, nothing was missing but we were frustrated with the event.

We choose the hotel because the location and the reviews. When we arrived, just in the designated spot to park the car to check in, I’m front of the main entrance two bikes approach to us and open the car door and try to assault us. BEWARE one approach each side, it was Just in the entrance and it was 320 pm. When we came back at 1030 and when we were trying to enter into the parking lot THE SAME HAPPEN. Just in the entrance of their parking lot! When we complain they told us they could not do anything, that that is the Barcelona. We have visit Barcelona many times and this is a first and more in front of the hotel entrance . We said it was just in their premises and that THEY SHOULD HIRE SECURITY IF THEY KNEW THIS IS FREQUENT TO PROTECT THEIR CLIENTS. I repeat is just in the front door and entrance to their parking lot. It is a shame they allowed this to happen and ignore their clients safety ( to much of a coincidence to happen twice to us with a difference of hours) is a clear modus vivendi the hotel is ignoring . So bad this happen as the hotel and terrace and view to the sagrada familia is very nice.

The hotel has a fantastic location literally adjacent to Sagrada Familia that includes a bird's eye view from their rooftop bar/terrace. The staff was friendly and professional and spoke English, which was nice for us since we do not speak Spanish very well. There were numerous food and drink options around the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We did not eat in the actual hotel restaurant while staying as we preferred to try different options each day around the city. The room and it's on-suite bathroom were large and well equipped. I would stay at this hotel again if we ever return to Barcelona for another visit.

We love our stay as it’s only 1 block from the Sagrada Familia. Our room had a great view of the Sagrada Familia and also the hotels rooftop has an amazing view. We had access to the rooftop as we were hotel guests and we noticed so many people trying to get a table but they were sold out to people not staying at this hotel. The view from our room and from the restaurant was incredible. The location is also great. It's a couple of blocks from the Metro station and everywhere is close by via the Metro. I wouldn't waste money on the cabs. I will say our bathroom had spot on the ceiling where mold was painted over. Other than that I would definitely recommend.

Exactly as advertised. It’s a more modern hotel with an excellent view of the Sagrada Familia. Roof top bar had a small food and drink menu but a great place for photos. The metro is right next to it which is nice for getting around and to/from the airport.

It is a close to attractions like Sangrada. Though this area is safer than others you still have to look out for thief’s. There were pick pockets in the streets and followed us into shops. This seems to be the case everywhere in Barcelona. The staff were perfect and so accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast food not fresh, staff at reception at check in not friendly. We were asked to input our nationality into an IPad when checking in but UK / GB not an option. Heating was on quite high in the room, when I asked reception if we could change the temperature in the room as it was too warm to sleep they said only maintenance could do that and they weren’t available and we should sleep with the window open. With it being winter and very noisy outside sleeping with the window open did not make for a restful nights sleep. That being said the staff in the rooftop bar were very good and the view from the bar was amazing.

We booked this hotel because it was near the basilica Segrada Familia. We requested a room with a view of the church and got one. The hotel was modern-sleek looking and clean. The woman who checked us in was wonderful. I had two complaints. We booked our room with the breakfast package. Our plans changed where we had to leave early for the airport and they would not refund the cost of the breakfast when we told them this upon checkin. They said they would have a take away breakfast ready for us in the morning. I was expecting maybe a few nice pastries but instead there were two sandwiches in the bag. One had a slice of cheese between two slices. The other had 2 thin slices of ham between the slices. I couldn’t believe it! There was a stale chocolate muffin wrapped in plastic wrap. The only decent thing was an orange juice box and a banana. The breakfast was awful. And the hotel was very petty in that they would not give us our money back for the breakfast when we checked in. Secondly, there was a large group of teenagers hanging out in a local play area located beside the hotel. They were yelling and screaming and laughing up until after 11:00 PM. Not sure if this is a daily occurrence, but not good for the guests.
