GF GRAN COSTA ADEJE*****

Das Hotel war schön, Zimmer immer sauber sowie auch der Buffetsaal. Das Personal ist auch immer freundlich und stets mit einem Lächeln aufgelegt. Es gibt viele Sachen im Hotel zu entdecken: Schmuckladen, kleine Mode Boutique, Kiosk, Play-Room für die größeren Kinder, Mini-Golf, Billiard Tische sowie Squash und Tischtennis uvm. Die Hotelbar in der Lobby ist abends richtig angenehm mit einem schönen Service und täglichen Programm wie Live Musik oder Artisten Aufführungen. Dennoch gibt es ein paar Sachen, wo uns negativ aufgefallen sind: - das Essen war absolut auf Engländer ausgelegt: Zu jeder Mahlzeit war es sehr Englisch angehaucht , wir haben schon das spanische vermisst. Trotzdem, und das muss man dazu sagen, war es immer lecker und man hat was gefunden. - der Service an der Bar oben am Pool Abends kann man sich entscheiden ob man an der Bar in der Lobby sich einen Platz aussuchen mag oder an der Bar am Pool. Wir empfehlen eindeutig sich für die Lobby zu entscheiden. Der Service in der oberen Bar ist wirklich schlecht. Wenn du dir einen Platz auf der Terrasse suchst und nicht drinne, kann man locker mal 30 minuten warten, das überhaupt irgendwer zu dir kommt. Nur mit ansprechen war es 2x möglich zu bestellen, und davon haben wir einmal sogar 45 minuten gewartet. Der Blick der Kellner oben ist stets nach unten zum Fußboden gerichtet. Das würde ich in Angriff nehmen. - Mini-Golf muss unbedingt erneuert werden - die Ablauf Rinnen am Pool sind immer ultra dreckig

Excellent hotel & facilities. The hotel is quite large, plenty to do. Evening entertainment is the best we have experienced in a long time! However, if one thing needs improvement it is the WiFi ~ kept dropping calls and not connecting every time = frustrating! But overall an excellent hotel and we will be back!

The hotel is okay, but not 5 star. A solid 4 star. The renovated rooms are much nicer than the old ones, but sadly, the renovation project which is still running, creates some disruption (lifts not working etc.) The fitness area is a joke, with much machines malfunctioning or worn out. What sealed the fate, was our request toi check out at 1pm rather than noon which was turned down, since "they needed the room". My guess is that occupancy was around 50% max.

Nice hotel with heated pool and great breakfast

This is a lovely hotel. The facilities are excellent with four pools and lots of sun beds. The rooms are spacious and everything is really clean. The choice of food at breakfast is super as is the evening buffet. The hotel is in a great location next to the new Duke shopping centre. We really enjoyed our week’s stay and would happily return. The staff are also lovely!

1.The room has musty smells. 2. Air condition stoped in the midnight. 3. Fire Alarm on in the morning around 5:45am and no one explained what caused on that. Being few times like this. 4. The all inclusive is not covering everything, some of the drinks still needs to pay, excluding spa services， all buffets meals but the lunch one is just so not good. The Asia meals are just not acceptable, worst than the takeaway shop in London. 5. The seaside / beach is not nearby the hotel , it takes around 15 minutes to reach to. 6. Staffs’s English is not good, can’t really communicate well. 7. The roof pool area is nice and quiet

Es imposible coger una tumbona sin tener problemas con alguien, te sacan tus cosas al suelo y se acomodan por toda la cara mientras te vas a bañar o cuando vas a comer, asi, sin ningún pudor. Hay mas clientes que tumbonas, asì que es una loteria. El todo incluido es el más ccutre que vi en comparación con otros hoteles de la misma categoria, hay A,By C, si te sales de ahì tienes que pagar un buen suplemento. El Personal muy amable, pero es un hotel totalmente pensado para extranjeros.

Well presented foyet in hotel, rooms slightly dated but very clean. Pool is undergoing works at the moment 1 of 2 main pools, this did lead to a chalkenge getting a bed, usual towel leavers causing the issue. Contrary to what was stated there was noise disruption at the pool, but went quiet late afternoon.

Fint hotell pool på markplan och även tak. Bra utbud för barn o vuxna , pingis tennis gym, pool jympa . Bra modernt shoppingcenter bredvid med restauranger. Väldigt trevlig personal och god service.

We spent a week here AI. Enjoyed it and this is our view. So 5 star is for the facilities and they are all pretty good. Rooms are massive the bathroom alone are huge. The place is spotless and seems to be constantly cleaned and you could eat dinner off the bathroom floors. Staff in the main are helpful and willing to help, we did find if there is an error even the smallest thing its almost as if some want to have an argument about it. It was very odd, example being once waiter brought the wrong drink, not a big issue but immediately he was defensive saying it was me who had it wrong, very strange. The food AI was pretty good and wasn't bored at the end of the week and there was plenty of options. Some downside the rooms are pretty dated and shabby chic, They are big and comfortable and the bathrooms are massive but a pretty risky step into shower. They also must have got a job lot on mirrors as they are everywhere and massive. The big let down is the AC, in the rooms it is as effective as a asthmatic mouse blowing through a straw and in the common areas it is non existent. All in all we enjoyed it and would use again if in this neck of the world.

Lovely hotel, very clean and the staff are always so polite. The rooms are spacious and well looked after. Breakfast is excellent, a huge buffet style with staff on hand for coffees and even omelettes. Would definitely return.

Food was very boring . Done with no professionalism. No taste, every day the same menu. Pool is very nice a lot of lounges. Very clean property. They should change pillows and bedding. House keeping was great. They are closing hotel by the end of this month for renovation. I hope they will change certain things. Over all property is very conviniently located.

We really enjoyed our stay at GF Gran Costa Adeje. The hotel and all of its services are amazing. The huge pools, the vast choice of food, the entertainments, the pool tables 😁 - all great!! Our room has been cleaned every day and the rooms were althought a bit dated but always very clean. All in all an amazing experience.

My stay was unexpected and I rushed to book the hotel so the photos are why I did, they say the camera never lies but it did in this case .. the pool was amazing and the breakfast was good but the gym was disappointing, needs new equipment and it looked very shabby and vary dated . My room view wasn’t what I expected either room 102 but the the most i was disappointed in is you can hear everything your next door neighbours is doing and I had the most noises who was awake till early hours banging , shouting ,scraping furniture, moaning /groaning , stomping around then woke up 7am . I hardly got any sleep .. I had to call down to reception every day to complain and also my card keys stopped working on 5 occasions so had to keeping getting that sorted to too , wasn’t a relaxing stay at all and won’t be returning there again .

Yes all of that and the room did come with it's own balcony, unfortunately the sun was always at the other aspects of the building, it was never used

Hotel is lovely, beautiful entrance and pool areas. Food wasn't great and the restaurant is more like a canteen. Rooms are large but very noisy. I was on the side by a road, on a low floor, which i didnt think was the best for a solo female traveller.

The hotel is very big but it never felt too busy. The room was large and clean with a lovely view over the pool and the ocean in the distance. I sent several queries in advance of our stay and didn’t receive a reply to any of them. We booked full board and the confirmation from hotels.com failed to mention that long trousers are required in the restaurant at night until 21 June. We walked for an hour trying to buy long trousers but this is Tenerife and it was 30 degrees so long trousers were not acquired! There were men in jeans and women in play suits and bikini tops in the dining room at night so the dress code, as they called it, made no sense. The hotel is quite dated but nothing wrong with it. The pool area is lovely. The food was also nice and fresh.

We really enjoyed the pools and free buffet breakfast most of all. The Air conditioning could use a little more strength. We rented the large superior suite for a night which seemed outdated.

Super clean. Reception staff were amazing.

We have stayed in this hotel many times and it is wonderful. The service at Reception was disappointing as our reservation was lost when we arrived and we had to wait an hour to get it sorted. It was stressful because we were told the hotel was sold out. We eventually got it sorted ourselves when we called hotels.com.

Having come to the hotel for many years, unfortunately i feel it will be my last visit. The management seem to have lost interest in the hotel after covid, concentrating on their newer hotel. The pool bar has never reopened, there is no arrival drink anymore, there are no cups and saucers in the bedrooms, or iron. You have to ask for these. This should be standard. The stress of the lack of cot in the room, following requesting one beforehand and checking directly with the hotel, cannot be overstated. The reception staff are offhand and the rest of the staff stressed and overworked, with the same faces appearing from breakfast to night. The large rise in price point over the last years is understandable due to economic factors, and even the lack of general refurbishment is acceptable as the hotel is clean, but its the erosion of the extra services that are deemed a necessity in 4 star hotels of this calibre that is undermining it, as they go increasingly down the all inclusive market.

Great location, staff, service and facilities. Very clean and comfortable stay, would recommend! Staff always polite and willing to help! We will hopefully be returning following the refurb!

Positives - location next to great shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great. Room cleaned promptly daily Negatives - overall condition is tired and def not 5 star. Reception staff unresponsive to feedback around the condition of the room and hotel; other than “it’s getting refurbished soon”

The hotel was disappointing and is not a 5 star in my opinion. The arrival receptionist provided incorrect information regarding food on Xmas day, the food across our 6 day stay was acceptable but not of a 5 star hotel standard. Pool area lovely.

Nice hotel near all the amenities. Clean and nice staff. There were some fun entertainment acts at night, if you like that sort of thing. Very touristy area so I would recommend renting a car to see more of the authentic Tenerife and not just restaurants that are catered to tourists.

Had a lovely stay in Adeje, the Gran Costa is a nice hotel. It is a little dated could do with some modernisation to get to a 5* resort. That said they offer a lot to families. pool tables, air hockey and nightly entertainment provided in abundance and no shortage of sun loungers either. Thought it unusual to have to pay for bottles of water for the bedroom these are normally provided free daily, we received one free at the start of the holiday and that was it. Rooms cleaned daily but felt there was always an odour coming from the bathroom like stale water. The location of the hotel is good, you’re a 10 minute walk from the strip and the beach but there are bars, shops and restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the Hotel

Our stay was absolutely beautiful. From the service, to the cleanliness, to the pool to the breakfast. We couldn’t ask for more! The location was ideal - close to the beach (although a slight hill to climb when returning) and you can walk to Playa Las Americas along the coast within 45 minutes. We will most definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff!

Amazing hotel. Great staff and amazingfood. I loved my stat..never seen such great hotel staff. Nice location 10 minutes to the beach. Not so great for people with limited mobility as they will need to catch a taxi back from the beach for €4 as the hotel is uphill . Would definitely go back. Well done to the management.

Lovely hotel. Very large. Nice room, good view of pools. Very clean and well kept. Pool area very nice, lots of sun beds which made the need for the sad people who reserve their little spot at 7am unnecessary. Food was nice. Short walk to beaches. Altogether would recommend. Would stay again when returning to Tenerife.

Excellent hotel!! Everything what is as pictured. Excellent location!! Only thing I would like to share is provide more vegan options, we were 13 of us staying 3 days and 5 of were vegan/veg with egg allergies. we did all inclusive. There was same food 3 days for vegan, no desserts option at all. That was very disappointing for us.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet hôtel. Malgré sa taille il ne fait pas "usine" grâce à son architecture originale. L'ambiance y est sereine. Des transats sont toujours disponibles. Les repas sont très riches et variés. Le petit déjeuner était mémorable. 2 petits bémols : - Il a fallu au déjeuner et au dîner payer une bouteille d'eau (cher !) car l'eau du robinet n'est pas conseillée. Je trouve cela mesquin pour un 5 étoiles surtout quand on paye la pension complète. L'eau ne me semble pas facultative, - Notre chambre donnant à l'est, et le petit séchoir à linge étant fixé du mauvais côté, il était impossible de sécher les maillots de bain à cette période de l'année. Heureusement les serviettes de piscine sont proposées chaque jour et celles de douche changées quotidiennement. Malgré ces petits détails, je conseille vivement cet hôtel

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal gibt sich aber alle Mühe, dies mit seinem Service zu kompensieren. Top ist die Qualität des Buffets.
