A small but well kept establishment that’s been renovated recently and was very convenient to Kemptville. Very close to the local ball fields. A drive up 1 story motel that was a throwback. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Priced appropriately.

This is a very nice little hotel that is very well kept. If you’re looking for something that’s pet friendly it’s ideal as you have access to the outside Of the room, most of the rooms. Was very well kept and clean and breakfast was quite nice very good value for the money

Our room was very clean and the bathroom was also clean. Most most important to us. We had a fridge which was a nice option. Coffee was in the room but the hotel had a nice breakfast including boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, breads, muffins, juice and a nice coffee machine that offers a variety of hot beverages. Would stay here again without hesitation

The hotel was not the cleanest, nor in great repair - hallway light could be seen around the edge of the room's door, the door handles and the plates behind the handles, on both sides of the door, were loose (not secure), the sliding doors did not function well or fit properly (very difficult, hard, to open/close), there were broken bathroom tiles and there was dirt and mold-looking yuck in the grout, an ant was found crawling on the bathroom floor, and there was a sewer smell at times in the bathroom. The plaster on the ceiling and walls was cracked and flaking, and the wood wall behind the bed was swollen from what appeared to be previous water damage.The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not, and the sheet was stained. There was dust on the light fixtures. On top of all of these issues, there was no condiments - cream and sugar, nor stir sticks for the coffee/tea, and when the staff member was informed, he didn't believe me and had to attend inside the room to look for himself... this seemed like offensive and petty behaviour. The clerk did bring two packages of condiments, stir sticks, and napkins into our room when we were out of the room for the evening. The included breakfast was nothing to write about... not good value!

Bathroom facilities were poor, must be on well water as it has strong foul odour. Shower tap was very hard to operate, tub water did not drain well and sink tap hot/cold is reversed. Lots of green space surrounding property though and inside room was quiet. Convenient location close to highway access and Kemptville shops.

The room was musty like a dank cellar with horrible sulphur -like (rotten eggs) odour emitting from the bathroom. The bed and media/TV access were great. The best part of the stay was the staff who were kind, friendly and very helpful -- for this reason alone, I'd stay at this property again.

The front desk staff was rude and should be taught manners on how to greet a client. I was staying in a pet friendly room as I had a 25 pound pet. There was a smell of dog urine in the room since I checked in at 11:30 PM and just wanted to sleep I did not ask to change the room but this is certainly unacceptable considering there was a $30 supplement per pet to pay on top of the room rate.

Totally enjoyed my stay, newly renovated in all modern fixtures - large screen tv, bathroom, bedroom, office space, mini fridge, microwave, paintings, etc. very quiet, parking right outside your screen door, front desk helpful with directions, breakfast - good selection for a quick breakfast.

It was a decent stay but I found it too loud. The wall heater/air conditioner was too loud to sleep with and I had to unplug it. As well there was a plug in for my CPAP only on one side of the bed... not the side I always sleep on.

Room was clean and updated. I wish there was an extra blanket in the room as the bedding isn’t very plush. Room fan kept turning on and off every 30 seconds on all settings and even when I turned it off which was a bit annoying. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Older hotel building but with recent upgrades. Loved that the floors were LVP instead of carpet. Rooms looked like they had recent update with new fixtures. Front desk was not manned when we checked in, shortly after 10pm. Breakfast was mediocre with mostly packaged food choices.

It's obvious that a lot of work has been put into this motel recently to make it look nicer. One of the issues we had when staying here was the incredibly noisy heating unit. It kept kicking off and on and was so loud we eventually just set it to fan, but the room got so cold we had to turn it back on again for a while. This went on all night to the point we eventually got up and left at 5:30 in the morning. The other critique I have is around customer service. Although the staff were perfectly nice, I found it odd that when I came in I had to pickup a phone to let someone know I was at the desk to check in. They answered the phone as if they didn't know who was calling them. This isn't great customer service and also, I don't want to pickup a phone that who knows how many other people have been using and put it to my ear. For these reasons I would not stay here again.

If you are going to own or manage a hotel, have someone running your front desk 24/7 so you don’t need to contact clients pushing them to find out their ETA for check in purposes. The person that called me, insisting I confirm our time of arrival was extremely pushy and rude.

The service was excellent. The rooms were nice and clean, and the grounds were very nice. Easy access to shopping areas and the highway to get around. Lots of parking. Staff went above and beyond to accomodate. Would stay again.

The SureStay was suitable for our needs as we had family events in Kemptville. It was good value for money, had the basics we needed, was overall quite clean and well-functioning. The breakfast is basic, some furnishing is a bit dated, but there was a charm to the community feeling. Sid was very helpful and attentive.

This hotel is an hidden gem. The rooms are very nice and clean. The location is convenient and so close to the highway. It is only 30mins drive from Downtown Ottawa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was alright. The only downside is the pre- packaged eggs. I suggest they cook their eggs themselves or don't serve eggs at all. People are very careful when it comes to dairy and poultry products. The service was excellent. Staff were exceptional. The price is just right. I will be back many more times.

Nice , clean, cozy ,motel. It was perfect. The hard wood floors ,are so nice. The bed ,very comfortable. Nice, that there was a warm blanket ,on shelf, if needed and extra pillows. Did not lack of anything. The breakfast ,was nice and enjoyable. Thank you.
