Booked the "Standard Queen" for 4 nights: not a "Queen" bed, no fridge, no window, no separate exhaust fan switch so the fan is on all night, quite noisy in the early mornings but worst of all, the bathroom image is deceptive and does NOT look like what is shown; it is less than HALF the size, the toilet/basin/walls are drenched when you shower, there is mould and a strange white discharge on the floor. It was unpleasant. Even worse, Value Hotel appears to be aware of the deceptive image but was not willing to resolve; said it was Hotels.com problem (not theirs). Poor customer service. Location-wise, it is a far from Novena MRT and the walk is challenging with construction and uneven/narrow pathways all along way. Only positives: the aircon was good and there is a free water cooler/dispenser on the ground floor. All in all, would NOT recommend.

Good enough for a short stay. Nice and welcoming staff. Big windows with a good view from 12th floor. The bed was quite stiff. nice pool with a great view. we did not try the breakfast. You can hear noice from the hallway quite easily. 4 elevators were always no waiting time.

I booked no windows room. As a solo traveler who just sleep over night and not spending much time in the room, it was good enough for me. But i would suggest to book the room with the windows. Room is super small... at the night you wil be waking up, because you will hear strong water noise going through the drain pipe. That was big issue which will probably interfere/disrupt with your sleep. They clean room day which is nice. There's super small gym but good enough for about 20 minutes muscle pump on cable machine. That's only they have regarding to weights lifting. Pool is next to the gym and is great. Staff at font desk are super friendly and willing to help. For example, when i checked in the room, there was broken shower hose. They fixed. If you need taxi, they will call one for you. There is bus stop near the hotel, which is super helpful so you don't have to use taxis and it's super cheap.

I (and my wife) booked a budget room, with no windows, so I expected a budget room. However, what I hadn’t anticipated was that the only place to store clothes was on 3 hangers on the wall, an incredibly tiny table which just fitted the jug and two cups. No chairs either. The bathroom shower was a combined wet area so after showering the bathroom floor is wet for at least 12 hours. One final thing, I booked a hotel with a pool, which is always my requirement for a hotel. On the first afternoon I checked the hotel facilities on the hotel tv channel and it stated the pool was open til 7pm. I got to the pool at 5.40. At 5.50 the cleaner arrived and told those of us in the pool to get out and clear the pool area as it closed at 6pm!!! There were about a dozen of us. I will say though, that the reception staff were hugely helpful and great to deal with. But I wouldn’t go back there.

Die Unterkunft war im Ersten Augenblick gut. Aber in unserem Bad, war der Abfluss des Waschbeckens kaputt, sodass das ganze Bad ständig unter wasser stand. Die Dusche war in einer Ecke im 3m² Bad, ohne Duschvorhang, somit war auch da das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Die Lage war sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbufett war zwar ein Gebäude weiter, aber trotzdem eine gute Auswshl und ausreichend. Personal war freundlich und wollte immer helfen. Der Pool war zwar klein, aber für eine Abkühlung ausreichend. In der Nähe ist eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit und ein Food Market, sowie eine Busstation. Super Lage.

Room smelt damp upon entry and the bathroom was full of tiny furry flies. In the middle of the night there was a strong pungent smell of the drains that was so unbearable I checked out at 6am. The walls are also so thin that I could hear word for word the conversation next door. Room served its purpose but would not pay that price to stay there again.

This stay was horrendous. The floors were dirty with dodgey looking stains on the floor. The smell of the room was unbearable. The shower had great pressure but when used the WHOLE bathroom got drenched as it was tiny. The room was so small you could barely move and the tv had 4 channels. Not happy

There was a strong urine smell in the room and bathroom. There was also mold in the bathroom and the cabinets were dusty. I asked the front desk if I could switch rooms but they said they were fully booked. The housekeeping came to my room and sprayed the bathroom with air freshener but I still couldn't sleep because of the smell. I found a plastic bottle hidden behind the curtain. I reached out to the front desk again in the morning and I showed them pictures of the mold and plastic bottle hidden behind the curtain. She said they don't have an empty room but will send housekeeping to clean the bathroom and the room. When I came back the bottle was still there and the room and bathroom still smelled.

This is a terrible place to stay. Room had roaches, the bathroom full of mold, bed sheets stain the floor had hair and rubber bands from previous guest also shower had someone’s hair all in the floor of the drainer and the sink to brush teeth was clogged! As well as the toilet forget it!! It had poop and pee from whoever was staying there. Extremely filthy place! Do not STAY HERE!

Staff is unhappy so can't deliver customer service properly. i.e. not helpful and unfriendly. Room is really too bare minimum for the price they are charging. No handsoap, no shampoo, toilet paper very small pieces given, no counter top in washroom, table too small to put even your cosmetic bag, small closet, strong detergent or chlorine smell, air conditioner is centralized and it is either too cold or too hot. I would not recommend.

Ich habe in Singapur schon öfters übernachtet und wer ein wenig auf das Budget schauen muss bekommt hier eine gute Option. Ich hatte einen schönen Ausblick. Der Service an der Rezeption war sehr gut. Ein Problem mit dem Duschkopf wurde prompt behoben und beim Ausdrucken der Dokumente war man auch noch nach dem Auschecken bereit. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Kühlschrank mit Wasserkocher ist für mich ein Muss. Gute Verdunkelungsvorhänge, ziemlich leise Klimanalage und auch von den anderen Leute auf dem Stockwerk bekommt man nicht allzu leicht was mit. Die Lage ist OK. Busstation vor der Tür. Zwei ähnliche nahe Metrostationen mit Einkaufszentrum ca. 15 Minuten schneller Fussmarsch entfernt. Es gibt ein paar Restaurant drum herum, aber ich habe eher andere Food- Center bevorzugt. Den Pool habe ich nicht benutzt. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen da es mir bisher den besten Kompromis zwischen Preis und guten Komfort im mit schlechten Hotels nur so angefüllten Singapur bietet.

Aircon was not working. Rang three times and it took the staff 2 hours to respond before changing my room. But I suppose it's expected for it's ranking and price. Would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Parfait point de chute pour quelques jours à Singapour! La station de métro Novena est à 15 minutes de marche et permet de se rendre à peu près partout! Il y a plusieurs resto autour, notamment au centre commercial où est situé le métro. L’hôtel est parfait même si les chambres sont très petites. C’est propre et sécuritaire, les lits sont confortables et il y a une piscine… mais nous ne l’avons pas utilisée pour garder tout notre temps pour visiter la ville!

- Not close to MRT. The nearest are Novena ans Toa Payoh, about 1.2 km distance. Better commute there by bus (the bus stop is available nearby the hotels, 100m distance) - Ants everywhere including on the bed. - Friendly staff. Easy to checkin and checkout.

バス停が近く移動がしやすかったです。お風呂場に扉が付いているのを条件にここに止まりましたが、写真にはあるのにかかわらず扉はついていませんでした。またすごく臭くなってしまい、あまりいい気持ちで泊まることは出来ませんでした。ショッピングモールが近くにあるのでホテルまわりだけでも楽しむことが出来ました。

Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms in need of decoration. Not enough sunbeds around the pool. Breakfast not actually served in the hotel, it's actually in a separate cafe/bar outside on a noisy main road. Handy for public transport
