The woman at the front desk was very friendly when we checked in, and asked how everything was going when we left for dinner. Very clean rooms and very quiet. The only thing that was a bit wacky was the elevator. Seemed pretty janky.

Great property however check in was a hassle. The room was not ready, we were told to check back in 20mins. We came back in 45 after deciding to go to lunch nearby and the room was still not ready. Told to come back in 30mins. We came back in 30. and still not ready 🙄. Eventually we got our room and settled in well. Other than that, everything was decent and clean and breakfast was good. The gym facility while small was great as well.

Super clean hotel, conveniently situated in Newton, NJ close to most things in Sussex County. Close to Sparta and Lafayette. We had a spacious king room, with all the normal Holiday Inn Express amenities. Coffee/tea maker, fridge, lots of storage, iron, safe, hair dryer, and Dove toiletries. The room had nice blackout shades which were helpful since we were on the first floor and on the sunny side of the building. It was an accessible room so it had a large bath with sloped floors to the shower. Water pressure was great and stayed warmed. The only issue is that the heater churns pretty loudly, so light sleepers may need ear plugs. The parking lot was pre-salted before impending snow and plowed very well after snow.

Easy to access from the highway, close to stores and restaurants. The hotel was clean, albeit a bit noisy on the weekend I stayed (2 weddings that weekend) but clean comfortable rooms with great staff. I would stay there again.

Everything was great, except the house keeper employees knock on the doors at 8:00 am and since that time you can hear everything. For example their vacuuming the next room. I believe 8am it’s too early for that .

Check in was great, staff was very helpful. Room is clean and neat. The A/C unit is incredibly loud. Loud enough to wake me when it kicked on. In addition, the ambient noise is very loud. I don't know if it is a lack of sound proofing? I've never had an experience like this. Exterior vehicle noise as well as every person in our wing, word for word, as they converse on their way to their rooms. The keycard beep, door handles, etc. It is currently 3:30am and I can hear neighbors talking in their room from across the hall while I lie here. It is very frustrating. I am thankful my kids sleep deeper than I do.

Everything was wonderful. Staff accommodated me with a stool so I was able to get up on their high bed (5’3”). The only negative was the heating unit fan did not lower., so it was noisy.

I had one problem with this hotel but it was big. The heater/air conditioner blew either very hot or very cold air to reach the auto temperature that I sent. More importantly, it was the loudest such device I ever heard, and a few times I thought it was going to explode. It woke me up repeatedly. Room 313!

My wife had surgery at the Newtown Hospital. Check-in was not until 3pm. I asked them if there was a room available for my wife around 11am. They were so understanding and gave us early check-in free of charge. The suite was super clean and comfortable. The front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. I don’t usually leave reviews. However, I feel like their management needs to know how satisfied we are with their staff top notch service.

I booked this hotel because I had a wedding to attend. The hotel was located only 15 minutes from the venue which made me decided to stay here. When I arrived, the woman working the front dest was kind, helpful and gave me all the information I needed to know about my stay. The outside of the hotel was clean and well maintained. Walking through the lobby and down the hallway to my room gave me a welcoming feeling. Upon entering my room, I was quick to notice how clean and inviting the room was. It had all the basic ammenities you would need for a short stay. The breakfast buffet was small but the food was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay, whether it's for one or multiple nights.
