we came to town for a family reunion in Carlisle. Which was 20 mins away. prices were higher because of the Car convention but the best reviews for our budget. We checked in around 8 pm we had 4 rooms. Initially they gave us rooms on different floors when we asked to be put on the same floor they were able to accomodate us immediately. The pool was open until 10 pm which was great because it gave the kids a chance to hang out before bed. all of our windows faced the pool. It was so great for the wash machine and dryer near my room I was able to wash the kids swim wear and beach towels. I was able to wash items for 7 kids at once. They had detergent at the front check for a small fee. washer was $2 and the dryer was &1.50 with no time limit for the dryer. the only downside was they didn't have change at the front desk and the machines only took quarters. luckily I had enough. Breakfast was decent. We were able to extend our check out time to 3 pm for $35 a room. the kids were able to get some more swimming done before we left. Check out was easy. I would definitely recommend this place.

The room was fine but the bathroom wasn’t so great and needed a deep cleaning. There is no room service unless you ask at the Front Desk. We had to ask for clean towels because they were so small and thin and there are no towel racks to hang them. When you don’t ask, they do nothing in your room. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Trash cans were nasty and so was the inside of the elevator. The lobby furniture is pretty worn. The computer and copier didn’t work. Amenities were not great. Did not see/use the pool.

I had some paper work i needed to print out and they had a business center with a printer-Great! Wasn't working, found out the printer was out of ink. Ask girl at the front about it and she was excited we found out what was wrong as she had things she needed to print. They didn't have any in the back office. Offered to go to a local store to get some. When we get back she tells us the manager won't reimburse us. ??? Needless to say I printed what I needed and removed the ink cartridge. Very disappointing in manager's customer service skills.

Bathroom sink had some stain from something on it. Didn't wash away with water, but I couldn't tell if it was permanent or something that would need more effort to clean off. No safe available in the room. No indoor pool. Hallway AC was turned off and kept off, making the hallway warm and stuffy. Would have expected slightly more from a Best Western Plus. On the other hand, was not expensive. Friendly, helpful, pleasant staff. If you're just looking for a basic place to sleep and move on, and you're not too picky, might be ok.

The room had a lot of stains. The wall in the bathroom was cracked open. The tub was stained. I came back night one and it reeked of cigarette smoke from someone smoking in another room-not even on my floor. I Was worried I would smell at my meeting the next day. The phone did not work. The elevator kept getting stuck. IF this wasn’t next to where I need to go I wouldn’t stay here again.

The smell of the entire hotel was rank and induced a feeling of nausea. The room was about a 0 star. Dirty and torn carpeting. Missing lamp on side of bed. Cable management behind TV was unbelievable messy. No room service next day with fresh towels and general cleaning of trash cans, more coffee pods etc. No coffee pods at all, but had coffee maker in room, just the sugar packs. Ice bucket was half full of old dirty water. I would never stay there again and would encourage others to avoid. Overall just filthy.

The first floor room, which bordered the parking lot, had a partially see-through window shade, and the room was visible to the outside at night. So no privacy. If we had known, we would have requested a floor above ground. Otherwise, staff, service, cleanliness, and location were excellent.

Booked and prepaid for a king suite, and upon arrival was told none were available. Desk clerk said all they had was a double and i would have to pay $170 plus tax and fees. We left and went elsewhere and Expedia got us a refund, but I found it very sketchy.

My issue with this property wasn’t with the staff that checked us in and out. The problem was the city shut the water off (not the hotels fault). We stayed one night because we got in late but we could not go 2 days with out water for using the toilet, brushing our teeth, and showering, etc. When we found out there would be no water on our second day I immediately booked a hotel (another best western) in a near by city. When I talked to management about getting a refund for the second night they said no because it’s not their fault. I agree, it was not their fault, but neither was it mine and with a family of four staying there you would have thought they would be understanding. But greed seems to be their motto at this best western.

When we arrived we were told they didn’t have the room we paid for. We were not notified beforehand, and that’s why I’m really upset. If we were told, we would have booked somewhere else. But we arrived, were told, and we had no choice but to stay there in a lower grade room. We were offered 2 bottled beverages as a courtesy for the inconvenience….

Our room was clean, and the staff was friendly. Also the price was good. But the breakfast that they served was just terrible! Rubber eggs, stale bagels and the pancake machine wasn't working correctly. It's a fairly inexpensive place to stay, but don't count on a good breakfast.

The room appears to have not been updated in a very long time. The smell in the room wasn't necessarily bad, but it was definitely weird. Breakfast was very limited and looked stale. We didn't even eat. Hand written signs around the 'breakfast' area. Microwave was on a little table, and lopsided. Guys outside when we arrived back at the hotel at night smoking weed and a different guy in the AM. I would not recommend.

The first two rooms we were given were depressing and dirty. There was masking tape on the shower floor holding on the tile. The door handle in the bathroom was falling off. When I complained we were given the King Suite. The tile floor had something black and sticky on it. Didn't the people cleaning it see it. It was a big spot. The juice at breakfast (both apple and orange). we watered down both were pale colored. It is amazing how dingy this place is.

The person at the desk when we checked in was very friendly. Check in was quick. Room was clean. However - the OJ at breakfast was really bad - I mentioned it to the morning person who just stared at me and said nothing. The area under the machine where the juice was dispensed was gross - again, he said nothing. The area had a lot of restaurants to choose from and had easy access to the highway, but n traffic noise.
