Great value for money. Room has a microwave, which is handy to heat up ready meals from convenience stores. Fairly convenient location, about 10 mins from Okachimachi and Ueno JR stations (note that if you’re visiting in summer, this is a fairly long walk due to the heat and humidity). Local area is fairly quiet with quite a few dining options.

The superior double twin room was great. Not huge but just enough had a nice little corner couch, perfect for suitcases. Little fridge, and safe, bidet, hairdryer etc all supplied Their pillows are very hard and seemed to have “dried beans”in them. They do offer an upgrade but we’re out when we tried. Our airplane neck pillows saved us!!otherwise everything was perfect. Staff was super nice!

JR御徒町駅からは10分弱歩くがホテル界隈はとても静かでゆっくり過ごせます。ホテルは中央部が吹き抜けでとてもモダンな作りでへやもとてもきれいでした。

일본 도쿄에 자주가는편입니다. 출장과 여행을 같이 하고있기때문에... 여러 호텔을 다녀봤지만 우에노, 오카치마치역 근처여서 항상 이 호텔을 이용했습니다. 코로나기간에 못갔었는데 오랜만에 갔더니 리모델링도 되어있었고 직원들도 친절했습니다. 조식도 좋은편이었습니다... 나이가 있는 탓에 호텔조식만 사진이 있네요.

Lovely quiet location in Ueno. Train stations and food options not far away. Great staff. Rooms clean and tidy and little extras like providing charger cable and deodorizer for shoes were appreciated. They also held our luggage after check out so we could fill in some hours shopping before heading to the airport. Great hotel. Would recommend and stay again when I return to Tokyo.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I’ve been using the same face massage tool for over 20 years — it’s a small item that I use every day, but I accidentally left it in the bathroom during our stay. After checking out, we traveled to Okinawa, Kyoto, and Osaka. More than a week later, when we returned to Tokyo, I realized I must have left it at this hotel. I decided to visit, though I wasn’t very optimistic since it’s such a tiny item and doesn’t look valuable — but they had kept it for me! I was so delighted and deeply grateful. I also wanted to thank the gentleman who cleaned our room — it was spotless when we arrived. The concierge who took care of our luggage when we first checked in was also very kind and helpful. Everyone at this hotel was so nice. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit Tokyo. Thank you so much!

浴槽に前の方の髪の毛が数本残っていました。 洗面の床にも髪の毛が落ちていました。 水回りはキレイにしておいてほしかったです。 カーテンがあかない作りになっており、部屋に自然光が入ってこなかったです。 また夜中に何かの作業音が響いていました。

Decent 10 mins walk to JR Okachimachi station. Plenty of shopping and food options around the station. There's a AEON store just two streets away for your grocery needs. Staff were awesome. Courteous, helpful, and friendly. Only suggestion is to vacuum or clean the carpets more often. Saw the dust under the beds when trying to retrieve an item that rolled under. Our kids also sneezed quite a bit, seemingly from the dust in the room. Booked another stay next April. Hope to see some improvement in the cleanliness. Thanks !

Small, quaint hotel. Decent stay, clean and nice bathroom, great shower pressure. Not a lot of space in actual room especially w large luggage, we had 2 med and 1 small and super tight. 2 twin deluxe room for 2 adults and 4 yr old, it wasnt big enough for 1 adult and 4 yr old to sleep on twin unless adult slept on their side. Friendly, professional staff, they booked our taxi night before but had to redo next morning and got it worked out by our check out time. Opted out of breakfast buffet bc we liked going to conbini and grabbing various prepped food and snacks and drinks. We didnt eat in immediate area but a good 10-15 min walk to nearest metro station.

部屋は清潔で、ツインだったからか、バスルームも広く快適でした。ベッドの足元側と壁が近く、歩きにくい事と、テーブルと椅子が無く、机が欲しい時（書き物、軽食等）には少し不便でした。その点で★一つ減です。狭い部屋に無理に2つベッドを入れてツインにしたのかな？ フロントの対応はきめ細やかでトータルでは良いホテルでした。

Staying in this hotel for the first night and the last two nights of our 8-days trip, for the 1st night, we were assigned the top floor corner room, it is very hot when we entered the room, but after switching On the AC, the room temperature is okay. However when we checked in the second time, the room assigned is at 3/F and the room size is much smaller than the previous one and there is a small table which is only just enough area for the tissue box and my middle size suitcase needed to open in the entrance area. We tied to ask the front desk to change the room as the previous one, they told me that hotel.com gave them the room fare is too low, so no change is allowed. But we paid nearly the same price for our last two nights, we didn’t know how much net amount the hotel received, but we just knower we are booking a twin bed room for2 person, there is no other specifications mentioned while we made the booking, very disappointed! Also, very far from the JR line, if we knew the room assigned is so poor during our last two nights, we would have cancelled the booking before the deadline!

room was so tiny certainly didn’t look like the room i booked! i had spent so much time looking at pics and reading reviews and i don’t know how this hotel got the good reviews it got! quiet street not near anything had to walk 15 mins to Ueno, 10 mins to subway. rooms tiny tiny tiny, bathroom just as tiny, a midget hotel and the price i paid the first night was U$309 is a total rip off! staff spoke little to no english! rigid with extended check out at 12pm! totally a downer to my trip to tokyo to be honest!

Always clean. Stayed there twice in 2025 for a grand total of 4 nights. Convenient to subway lines. Easy access with the luggage from Tokyo station and then to the Narita airport. Lots of small restaurants around the hotel. Only complaint is that the rooms are small, even with two beds. Staff very polite and professional.

早餐選擇不多，基本的種類是有的，地點比較偏遠，附近食堂及餐廳不多，晚餐要在7點前選擇好進食，房間偏小，上次入住是雙人床房，空間還算合理，但這次入住雙床房，可是使用空間反而少了，雙床房放兩張單人床，中間只隔很小的空間，由最近的一張床進入另一張床只容一個人側身行的空間，結果要兩張床併在一起才可把行李喼打開，不過職員的態度尚好，上網也沒問題

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I’ve been using the same face massage tool for over 20 years — it’s a small item that I use every day, but I accidentally left it in the bathroom during our stay. After checking out, we traveled to Okinawa, Kyoto, and Osaka. More than a week later, when we returned to Tokyo, I realized I must have left it at this hotel. I decided to visit, though I wasn’t very optimistic since it’s such a tiny item and doesn’t look valuable — but they had kept it for me! I was so delighted and deeply grateful. I also wanted to thank the gentleman who cleaned our room — it was spotless when we arrived. The concierge who took care of our luggage when we first checked in was also very kind and helpful. Everyone at this hotel was so nice. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit Tokyo. Thank you so much!

room was so tiny certainly didn’t look like the room i booked! i had spent so much time looking at pics and reading reviews and i don’t know how this hotel got the good reviews it got! quiet street not near anything had to walk 15 mins to Ueno, 10 mins to subway. rooms tiny tiny tiny, bathroom just as tiny, a midget hotel and the price i paid the first night was U$309 is a total rip off! staff spoke little to no english! rigid with extended check out at 12pm! totally a downer to my trip to tokyo to be honest!

Lovely quiet location in Ueno. Train stations and food options not far away. Great staff. Rooms clean and tidy and little extras like providing charger cable and deodorizer for shoes were appreciated. They also held our luggage after check out so we could fill in some hours shopping before heading to the airport. Great hotel. Would recommend and stay again when I return to Tokyo.

Staff are very helpful and courteous and. hotel is near the transportation line metro & JR lines. Excellent hotel. I would stay again and again while in Tokyo. Always clean. Stayed there twice in 2025 for a grand total of 4 nights. Convenient to subway lines. Easy access with the luggage from Tokyo station and then to the Narita airport. Lots of small restaurants around the hotel. Only complaint is that the rooms are small, even with two beds. Staff very polite and professional.

Decent 10 mins walk to JR Okachimachi station. Plenty of shopping and food options around the station. There's a AEON store just two streets away for your grocery needs. Staff were awesome. Courteous, helpful, and friendly. Only suggestion is to vacuum or clean the carpets more often. Saw the dust under the beds when trying to retrieve an item that rolled under. Our kids also sneezed quite a bit, seemingly from the dust in the room. Booked another stay next April. Hope to see some improvement in the cleanliness. Thanks !

This is the second time I stay at this property in a lapse of 7 years in between the trips, and without doubt I will not hesitate if a future trip arises. The staff is super polite and well educated at all times, they gave us the room we did request at higher floor, the space in the room is larger than the average in hotels in Japan at this price range. The location is perfect, with the JR lines and metro lines literally next door, plus the Ueno station 10 mins walking distance where you can arrive directly from Narita, or get the Shinkansen towards the north-east. Plenty of convenience shops near you, and walking distance to Asakusa, one of the busiest places in Tokyo, yet where the hotel is, super quiet and relaxed. Also, Akihabara is some 15-20 mins walk away! Extremely clean and well kept, the only downside I have to say is the breakfast, a bit poor in terms every day is pretty much the same with sausages and scrambled eggs plus some Japanese style breakfast dishes, of course toasts, juice, tea/coffee, that's all good. In any case, it is enjoyable as it is tasty, only little choice.

일본 도쿄에 자주가는편입니다. 출장과 여행을 같이 하고있기때문에... 여러 호텔을 다녀봤지만 우에노, 오카치마치역 근처여서 항상 이 호텔을 이용했습니다. 코로나기간에 못갔었는데 오랜만에 갔더니 리모델링도 되어있었고 직원들도 친절했습니다. 조식도 좋은편이었습니다... 나이가 있는 탓에 호텔조식만 사진이 있네요.
