Nice airport hotel. Surprisingly close to an immense mall that seems to serve as the town center of the area.The bus to airport was about 10 minutes door to door but even at 4 am it was packed full. Very good choice for someone trying to catch an early flight

Convenient place to stay near the airport. It has a pool which was very useful during our day stay in July.

Airport shuttle is in the next building over and was packed at 8:00 am so we took a taxi that was waiting outside. Nice hotel though a bit sterile with plenty of places to put your luggage for organizing before hitting the airport.

The Axor Feria is a great airport Hotel. The shuttle is convenient and easy to find at the airport. The hotel emailed me good directions two days before arrival. Unsolicited. It is somewhat punctual . Within 10 minutes. . The shuttle is absolutely punctual from the hotel to the airport. Every 30 minutes beginning at 7 am. Pickup times at the airport are every 30 minutes except for late arrivals after 10 I believe . They try to be on an exact schedule from the airport but that is impossible. My. bus departure happened to be at 15 before the hour from terminal 4 which is a good 15 minute drive from Terminals 1, 2 , and 3. So 1, 2 and 3 were on the hour. Front desk is efficient and smart. Very helpful . They spent 10 minutes in the morning planning my route to the Prado Art Museum. ( They were not busy at 8 am. ) After looking at the metro changes and bus rides and changes and charges and taxi fare they decided that the best plan was to take a taxi from in front of the hotel for 25 Euros. 15 minutes. They were right. (There is a taxi stand in front. ) Breakfast was plentiful and good and free with long hours of service. The hotel gives you a free liter of water every day and room service is every day. They gave me a sack breakfast at 6;45 on the second day I was there because the buffet breakfast opened at 7 and I had a 7 am shuttle to the airport which left at 7: 01. I will stay there again. The hotel is very quiet and very clean and extra modern.

The hotel was nice and close to the airport. We were not told that we would need to make an appointment for the airport shuttle so although it was free, we needed to wait for 30 minutes so we took a cab. We also were told to go to the sister hotel next door to catch the shuttle. The main desk at that hotel seemed annoyed that we didn't reserve a space and they didn't offer to help. Also, our hotel did not have a restuarant. We were told to go to the sister hotel. No further recomendations were offered from the hotel staff. The restaurant was out of all vegetarian options. The did make some dishes for us without meat; however, it would have been nice to have additional dining options. Overall the hotel was fine since our flight was canceled, but the customer service was lacking.

The shuttle service after hours was terrible. Unfriendly staff, late arrival while we waited outside in cold weather for over 30 minutes. Then they didn't communicate which of the Axor hotels was ours. The rooms are very functional and comfortable, but with virtually no decor.

Clean room and bathroom fixtures look new. Near airport and hotel has shuttle to the airport. Outside and street are not well illuminated.

Good clean basic room for our overnight layover at Madrid. They put an extra bed in the room for our child which was appreciated. Had a few options for our child to watch cartoons in English after some digging in the menus. Convenient shuttle from the airport, just have to find the hotel shuttle pickup zone. Shuttle drops off/picks up at the other Axor hotel next door but it's only about a 25 meter walk to Axor Feria. We were also able to walk to a restaurant for dinner on a corner down the street, less than a 5 minute walk, it had a 3.9 rating on Google but we gave it a chance and we liked it, nice people that tried to talk English with us, good basic bar food. We opted for breakfast included with our room, it is at the other Axor hotel next door and it was really fantastic. Convenient shuttle drop-off at Terminal 4 for our transatlantic flight back to the US. Overall recommended!

No explanation re food outlet (in hotel next door) or any explanation or welcome of any kind.

El trato muy bueno la habitacion con mucho olor a cigarro

La habitación estaba totalmente impecable

Room was spotless as usual.

Todo estuvo muy bien, muy agradable, salvo por un ligero tufillo a humo de cigarrillo o algo parecido que había en la habitación cuando llegué, que se mejoró cuando abrí la ventana. Pero después que hicieron la limpieza, volví a percibir el tufillo.

The rooms are comfy. If going to Madrid center it is far away

Room was just ok, extremely hot and air conditioned never worked, bed sheets were ripped and surroundings are very lousy. There’s some kind of warehouse for construction materials and was impossible to get a nice sleep. Too expensive for what is really worth

I did not like the no refrigerator.

Shuttle from airport comes every 30 min and is labeled large red letters Axor. Drop off at Barajas and walk bait a few steps to the Feria location. Everything was clean and perfect — but 2 minor things — no hair conditioner (I brought my own always) and also the sink drain was broken so I had to lift it by and to get the water to drain. Also the walls are a little thin in the rooms.

The room was good, clean and comfortable.

It is an excellent hotel. Room was too hot, couldn’t figure out how to improve it with the thermostat so we opened the window. Very quiet. First attempt on the WiFi didn’t work but it fixed itself after a bit. Cafeteria just down the way has good food for old Americans who eat and sleep early.

The location is nears to a mall and a relatively short bus ride to Metropolitano Stadium. The stadium is over 3 miles away on foot and it's not a particularly nice walk. Check in was excellent. The receptionist was very helpful and allowed us late check out and booked us onto the free shuttle bus. The hotel is very clean and the room was a good size with a nice bathroom and shower. Breakfast had plenty of choice and the food was tasty. The pictures and description of the hotel on Expedia are misleading...there is no swimming pool in this hotel. Sadly it's the little things that are missing that leave an impression. The was a kettle but no cups or even a couple of tea bags in the room...would a couple of tea bags really break the bank? The dresser has a sheet of glass on it's surface which was cracked.

Excellent customer service in a good area with walking distance to the mall.

Beware of Carla and all the other lady staff members.. they are very rude and unhelpful staff members. The have no sense of providing customer care for being working in the hospitality sector

Me alojé con mis padres, principalmente por la cercanía al aeropuerto. Lastimosamente, experimentamos una situación desagradable y considero que no le dieron la seriedad que merecía. Hicimos el check in y nos dieron las llaves, fuimos a la habitación y cuando entramos, nos dimos cuenta que estaba ocupada por una pareja. (Entre otras cosas estaban desnudos en la cama, lo cual hace que la situación sea más desagradable para todos). Cuando bajé a la recepción de nuevo, la recepcionista (que lastimosamente no me quedé con el nombre), no le dió mayor importancia. Dijo q ir se equivocó y nos dio unas llaves nuevas. Enteramos a nuestra nueva habitación, olvidamos lo que pasó, porque al final, una equivocación la puede tener cualquiera. Esa noche, mientras dormíamos, nos abrieron la puerta, otros huéspedes. Claramente era otra equivocación. Pues, después de eso, no pudimos dormir bien. Al día siguiente, lo hablé con Recepcion y la única explicación que nos dieron fue que eso pasaba mucho Porque aveces tenían inquilinos que se pasaban de alcohol. (Esa explicación no tenía sentido). Al final, teníamos que irnos al aeropuerto y dejamos todo así. Creo que es algo grave y tienen que asegurar que no le vuelva a pasar esto a nadie. De todas maneras, creo q nunca volveré a hospedarme en ese hotel.

We asked for a wake up call. no wake up call. We asked for a shuttle to the airport at a specific time, shuttle was not scheduled.

Airport shuttle was as expected both ways. The check in was a bit bumpy. We arrived at 9:30 AM , were promised the room after 12:30 pm, fair enough. When we returned from Plenilunio Mall, after 12:30 pm , went to reception to pickup the cards for our room, the receptionist informed us that we have to pay for the room ! I mentioned that everything was paid once we made the reservation through Expedia ! Only after another receptionist took over everything was sorted out . Not a big deal, still a bit surprising! Other then that enjoyable stay.

Driver broke my bag when I was leaving for the Airport in Madrid.

Nice hotel. The shuttle and the closeness to the airport were really important for us. There is a mall in a walking distance with many famous brands stores.

There's only one bus to take to the city but its super reliable! There's also not much to do nearby other than a mall which is around a 10 min walk. The property itself is super great and perfect!

Always a very good stay at the Axor Feria. It’s close to the airport, close to the mall and free shuttle to the airport that keeps me coming back year after year. Well done Axor.

Good, safe and clean option but not conveniently located to Madrid’s city center.

It's a nice hotel, but a little inconvenient. It's listed as close to the hotel, but the taxi ride was $24, and the area around it is just OK. Also, it's not close to the Metro, which is really the preferred way to travel around Madrid without a vehicle. The room was very nice, however, and for one night it was a good place to stay.

Conveniently located close to the Barajas Airport, the area is kind of industrial park, but the Plenilunio shopping center is very close and convenient. The hotel is very nice, very good choices for breakfast, and very nice staff. As a plus, there is a shuttle to Bajaras Airpot. Recommended

The reception was very helpful and accepted to change our room as the one we were first give had so much perfume smell that it made us sick (and we traveled with a toddler that we want to protect from that kind of stuff). The hotel is great with good breakfast and a well functioning free shuttle bus to the airport, but should use less chemical air fresheners – it was way over the top both in the reception area, hallways and probably most rooms that are frequently cleaned.

AC in our room worked very poorly. Restaurant doesn't open until 8:30 PM...so we had to walk down to KFC about 2 blocks. Nice airport shuttle, and check in was a breeze.

Lo mejor fueron las camas, fue como dormir en una nube! El unico pero que le pondria es el tema del ambientador que lo ponen muy fuerte y el tema del shuttle que a nuestra llegada estuvo desorganizado y estuvimos tirado en el aeropuerto por 1hr llamando y dandonos informacion que no era verdad. Tiene un restaurante cerca donde vas caminando y que tiene un menú y un personal increible!

I found the hotel very expensive for what it is. The breakfast was standard for the area and restaurant and bar limited hours. Not convenient for travellers at all.
