The reception is only open for a few hours in the afternoon but it was still very easy to check in, even when I arrived late. Staff were very friendly. My room was exactly as I was expecting, and was comfortable and spacious. Very easy to walk to the main area of Bright and plenty of parking available too. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is in a good location but it has some shortfalls. Equipment not working and cleaning issues. We found a thick layer of dust on the base of the spa. Cleaned this then filled the spa and found it did not work. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was also not working. I tried to get the TV to work but the instructions were for an older set up and did not work. Too late to call reception as they are only open until 6pm. On a good note , the heater worked well, the bed was ok and only a very short walk into town area. We would not recommend this place nor stay here again. Plenty of other options in town

Communal microwave might not satisfy Vic Health Standards. Free washing machine was good. Host Gary very friendly and helpful. Might be useful if hosts had mobile phone so can text if not available as landline has limited use if guests need help. I will come again as reasonably priced and close to CBD for walking, particularly if travel by the bus.

Shower recess in desperate need of upgrade ie shower base heavily stained/marked with ? mould along with glass sliding door tracks-yuk!!! No microwave which was very disappointing and lack of little touches like the odd pair of wine glasses and coffee mugs,dishwashing liquid was like water and no chux/dish cloth provided. Blockout curtains very old,faded and grubby looking.

Check in was smooth enough. Rooms decent sized but not as clean as expected. Room was not serviced during 2 night stay, smoke from outside other rooms wafted into Room so had to keep door closed. Beds hard. But in a good position and very central so can walk easily to anything in bright.

The hotel is in a central very convenient location. You can walk anywhere. It is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in within Australia.

There was a dirty tissue left on the floor, we were put in the end room were we had to walk down a dark walkway. And had to put ip with water heaters running continuously. The shower tiles where broken where you had to stand and we felt unsafe. Worried about cutting our feet

Location is excellent. Short walk to shops, eateries etc. Accommodation clean however outdated. Heavy curtains need replacement. Respraying of furniture will give the room a fresher, brighter more inviting atmosphere.

Shower in unit was awful. Fixed shower head placed very high, and obviously no adjustment possible. Shower drain directly under head and tiles were wobbly, and you had to stand on drain to get under shower. Very unsafe. Asked manager for real milk for tea . Unable to supply. Lady who provided clean towels when requested was very nice and very helpful. Location excellent.

Spent two nights over the weekend in a spa room. Very convenient location for walking around the town. Room was comfortable but the spa bath is a bit small for two. All spa rooms are up stairs but you go get a view out the back across the croquet field and creek.

I was in one of the newly refurbished rooms. It was fine. The bed was comfortable, had an electric blanket which was lovely. The room also had air-con, so staying warm was easy. The shower pressure was awesome. It was what I expected. There was a sign saying, due to covid there's no servicing of the room, which is outdated. If you don't want to service the room, that's fine, just don't 'blame' it on covid that has no restrictions anymore. I didn't like sign that said something like, the crockery is there for you convenience, if you're not prepared to wash, dry and put away your dishes don't use them.

It is the first mote/hotel anywhere in the world that I have been in that there has not been a service folder in the room. They had a TV system, that if you are old school like us was difficult to use. The office only worked between 2pm & 6pm, so if you needed anything like more coffee sachettes, too bad. They had a new coffee pod machine which did not heat up. If you needed the room cleaned there wasn't even a door hanger to let them know..A lot of dead pot plants did not add to the decor either.

The bed mattress would be the worse that i have ever had to sleep on. The towels are a bit on the thin side and this motel currently has no daily room service. The office open on restricted hours. Give this only 3 stars at the most.

Tucked away in quiet Wood Street, this hotel is an easy walk to all of Bright’s main attractions such as the shops, restaurants, Howitt Park and the river. Good value for money - it’s a bit dated but is clean and has spacious rooms.

A very nice motel a little over 100 metres from the clock tower which is the centre of the CBD. Although this close, to the Main Street and shops the motel is secluded and quite, in a beautiful street. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. We were rained in for one day of our stay, but due to the proximity of the CBD, we managed to get out and do some shopping. Highly recommend this motel.
