It was a wonderful location! The property was gorgeous and felt so cozy! I was a bit surprised when I found out later that this particular room to book is just a room with its own entrance attached to a house. I found that I would have appreciated that being stated a little more clearly, but perhaps I didn’t read all the details that well. There was one other couple in another mother-in-law style suit near us, and still it was quiet and nice. The lock box was a little confusing, but I think that’s more of the nature that I don’t typically use key lock boxes like that. Overall very wonderful place and stay. Also! We really loved the recommendations left for places to visit and eat at!! We did try a coffee place recommend by the owners and it was amazing!!

This stay was absolutely perfect for a stop on a road trip through the Olympic peninsula! We greatly enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the amenities were fantastic and Lauren was an extremely welcoming and communicative host. She ensured that check in and out went perfectly smooth and made sure to let us know we could call or text if we needed anything as they were a short distance away. We would love to come back and stay longer, this place is the perfect amount of nature while being close to a number of fantastic eats and hikes!

This was the perfect stay for my partner’s 44th birthday. The shared space outside with the hot tub, outdoor kitchen and fire pit has a cool 70s vibe that we loved - surrounded by big tall trees, it was very enchanting! Inside the spacious room it was very comfortable and well appointed. The bathtub and shower were incredible! My only suggestion would be to offer robes :) Thanks again!

Stayed 3 nights

We stayed on this property for 3 nights during our elopement with 7 of our family members. We all absolutely loved this property and really cherish the great memories we made together. I would describe the home as rustic, medieval, quirky green carpet in some places, vintage hardwood furniture, occasional taxidermy, and full modern kitchen. I really appreciated how clean the home and property were and the thoughtful and loving details in every room (e.g., many clean towels in each bathroom with soft gray makeup towels; plenty of nice matching dishes/cups). The treehouse with skylights and half bath was also a neat bonus. Our dogs absolutely LOVED exploring this property too. Even though there are only two full baths (and two half baths if you include the treehouse), each room generally had at least one sink so that was helpful for facilitating getting ready. The expansive backyard has an art studio, trampoline, small playground, fire pit, hot tub, and clean outdoor kitchen. Lauren was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. I really appreciated how open and communicative she was about having vendors on site (e.g., table/chair rentals, staging, hair stylist, make-up artist, and photographer). I think you can really get a sense of how much care and hard work they put into hosting, and we are so grateful for them sharing their home with our family. We will always remember their hospitality and highly recommend this place.

Stayed 7 nights

The 12 of us had an amazing stay at Holiday Haus! The location was great for exploring the park and Lauren was a super nice and accommodating host. She always responded right away and even dropped by a couple times to help us with some minor issues. The house was perfect for our large group and is so charming and cozy. We all ate together in the dining room and the large living room was an inviting gathering space. We used the grill one night too, which was great. The beds were large and very comfortable and we all slept soundly! The kitchen was especially well-stocked. There are lots of amenities available in the rooms and closets and on the property. You should definitely book!
