great place to stay up north of Ottawa in and around Petawawa area. right across from Kelseys for convenient decent food and the room was great. the pool and hottub were a great extra although the hottub was a little over chlorinated. Free breakfast added bonus!

The hotel was very well maintained. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The facilities such as the pool and hot tub were clean and relaxed. Morning breakfast was delicious with varieties. Really enjoyed the stay.

Pool and hot tub were not available as advertised. Hotel staff called a hour befor check in to notify us of this but it was to late to re book somewhere else after a 7 hour drive.

The staff at this property are exceptional! They remember you from stay to stay, with genuine smiles and treat you like family in a kind and respectful way. The challenge in winter months, is no underground or sheltered parking, along with loud snow removal at 4:30 am.

Hotel staff very friendly, nice property and good room size. Sounds weird, but Pillows were very small. I called the front desk and they brought up regular sized pillows. The pool was VERY cold. The hot tub was warm, not hot. That was the only disappointing experience from our stay.

We had a fabulous stay. We can’t say anything negative of this Hotel. The front desk staff are amazing, room was very clean and updated perfectly. The property is well maintained. Breakfast was different each day. Food was very good and hot. This was our second time at this hotel. We will definitely stay again next year.

The hotel is conveniently located for visiting Pettawawa and is also right next door to a Kelsey's restaurant if you don't feel like driving to a restaurant. I found this hotel to be clean, well maintained and the receptionist was very welcoming and informative about hotel facilities. The breakfast is the standard choice hotels budget offering, the cost is included in the room rate, but I have always found that the choice hotels breakfast to be less enjoyable than at other hotels who also provide breakfast. The juice machine was empty and many of the baked goods and fresh fruit hadn't been replenished. We can't say that this low standard is acceptable because it's free - it is not free, we pay for it in our room fee. The bed was too hard for my liking and the sheets felt as if they were synthetic, they definitely weren't hotel crisp cotton. The duvet was a very thick stiff fabric which was noisy every time I moved, much like sleeping under crumpled paper. It was far too heavy for me, and it kept slipping off the bottom of the bed, due ot its weight, and leaving me feeling cold in the night several times. It's unusual for me not to sleep well in a hotel, so this was a first. We could hear our neighbours talking quite clearly through the walls, but none of these things were a deal breaker and I didn't feel like I needed to move to another hotel. All in all, this is not a bad hotel for the price point.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Room was the perfect size for me (traveling by myself, 1 night stay). Breakfast buffet was busy but tasted great and everything was refilled promptly whenever necessary. Pool and hot tub looked inviting but I didn't have a chance to try. My only complaint (observation?) is that, while functional, the bathroom is small and might have been a problem if I hadn't have been alone. Still, the shower was strong and hot and I was pleasantly surprised to see a Waterpik shower head! Would recommend.

Fantastic staff!!! I read the reviews before booking and thought wow.. there's a lot being said about the people who work here but I get it! The employees you have working at this location are ABSOLUTELY incredible, very very nice people! The lady at the front desk who checked us in went above and beyond for my wife and I. Really wish I could remember her name, but everyone working here is giving patrons top notch hospitality! Check in was a breeze, informative and extremely helpful. Rooms are spotless and clean, the internation with staff at breakfast was great also! Thank you for our stay, I wish all properties could be as excellent as this one.

I stayed a week and the staff was amazing the entire time. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was hot (eggs, meat, potatoes), and an option to make a waffle. Plenty of other food was available (bagels, bread, cereal) as well as coffee and juice. Hot chocolate and tea were available in the evening. The room was clean and very warm.

We did the RAP snowmobile tour and this was one of our night stays. The hotel was extremely clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Easy parking for snowmobiles it’s right off the mail trail.
