The property is a little tired. There were signs saying that the levels of PFAS chemicals in the tap water were above permitted levels and that it wasn’t recommended for drinking for certain groups. You could use the dispenser in the foyer which was fitted with a filter, however this was a little inconvenient. Be aware there is no air conditioning in the rooms and the room was very hot while we were there (June). The area does however feel quite safe and the hotel is a short walk to the number 11 tram stop that takes you directly into the centre of Basel. For us, the lack of air conditioning (should have paid more attention when booking) meant that we wouldn’t stay here again.

Clean, tidy and functional. Staff very helpful and proficient in three languages. Pool to myself each time I used it. No breakfast ordered as fabulous boulangerie just across the road. Easy to access tram links into Basel. Much more cost effective and personable than staying in the city. Try Wok 68 and the bistro too if you are staying.

We stayed for 3 nights in December, the breakfast was good and never busy, staff checking us in wet friendly and polite and spoke multiple languages. The areas itself is ok, it's near a tram stop into the centre of Basel and within close enough proximity to local amenities such as the Co-op to stock up on some essentials for cooking. The apartment was a good size with hob, microwave and fridge / freezer included which was handy. A bit disappointed with the pool area, it could use a refresh to make it look less clinical also the pool temperature was freezing so couldn't use it which was a shame. Think it was heated to 28oc during our stay however 34 would have been comfortable to relax. Also the WIFI was down for the entire time we were there which was a shame. Nice enough, but wouldn't rush back.

We love our stay at the hotel within the French border (travel with friends and family). t is few minutes walk to the tram stop that enable us to discover different parts of Switzerland. We love that there's a kitchen that we can cook food (with cutleries,plates,pots and pan) to help us save money (prices of food and everything are so high). The room is large for the party of 4. The shower is nice (with bath),enough space for storage. The bed is comfortable enough. The kids love the swimming pool (the highlight of the stay) and the vending machine (when you have little kids,you will understand the joy it gives).Thank you so much for an excellent stay and will surely recommend to our friends that wanted to explore Switzerland and France).

I booked this hotel because they offered parking. Despite writing and trying to book, they never answered me. When I arrived, they told me that they had no more space and that I had to park on the street. The blue spaces are only available for a limited time. They offered to give me a pass so I wouldn't have to pay, but can you imagine having to put in a new pass every two hours? Ridiculous. There is no private parking in the area. After driving around for more than half an hour, I found a place to leave it. The area is quite ugly, not unsafe but not pretty and there are no restaurant options in the area. It is less than 100 meters from the border. The rooms are basic, the beds uncomfortable and small.

The room was very basic, but clean enough. We had to wash the cups and glasses before we used them as they felt grimey, but no big deal. The quilt on the bed was far too thick for the time of year, but we just stripped it straight off and slept with the window open and the fan on. The pool is small but perfect for a late-afternoon refresher! Caution though - there are male and female changing areas, but the signage is tiny and everyone just used the male area (on the left as you enter). Not a big deal for us, but if you have kids... Another word of caution: we booked this as a more economic option rather than Basel itself, but stays in Basel feature the 'Basel card' which gets you 50% off a variety of tourist attractions - depending on your plans, that could be a big saving and is worth factoring in to your budget.

Das Aparthotel liegt nur wenige Meter neben der französisch-schweizerischen Grenze direkt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße. Schon beim Betreten der Lobby nahm ich sofort einen intensiven Geruch wahr, der aus einer Mischung aus Raumduft und Toilette bestand. Die Lobby ist sehr klein, so auch der Rezeptionsbereich. Es erfüllt aber seinen Zweck. Der junge Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat alles gut erklärt. Man erhält keine Zimmerkarte, sondern einen klassischen Schlüssel für das Zimmer. Beim Betreten des Zimmers 214 war ich enttäuscht und schockiert. Ich sah gleich, dass hier nur miserabel gereinigt wurde. Die Betten waren zwar gerichtet, aber weder der Boden noch die Schränke der kleinen Küchenzeile wurden ordentlich gereinigt. Unter dem Bett lag alles voller Krümel, auf dem Boden im Badezimmer fand ich ganze Haarbüschel und einzelne Haare, die Oberflächen der Küche waren teilweise klebrig und glänzend und die Wände waren enorm abgenutzt, sodass das Zimmer auch noch sehr renovierungsbedürftig war. Ich dokumentierte meine Eindrücke mit Fotos und zeigte sie dem freundlichen Rezeptionsmitarbeiter. Ihn möchte ich sehr loben. Er entschuldigte sich zunächst sehr für den Zustand und gab mir ein Upgrade auf eine große Wohnung im 4. Stock. Hier war zwar auch nicht alles gut gereinigt, aber es war wesentlich besser als auf Zimmer 214. Dort hätte ich keinen Moment länger verbringen wollen. Das WLAN war gut verfügbar. Ich buche hier nicht wieder.

We couldn't fault our stay here, the staff were friendly, room was immaculate and the pool was a lovely way to start the day. You can walk into Basel in around 20 minutes or there is a tram stop just down the road.

Goede locatie, dichtbij de tram naar basel. Lekkere bakker in de buurt en meerdere supermarkten. Kamer was prima alleen geen airco waardoor het heel erg warm werd in de kamer. Ook jammer dat schoonmaak pas komt voor nieuwe handdoeken etc na een week verblijf.

The hotel is fine, the apartments are a bit dated. Our room was quite dusty and there was a bit of a smell on our floor in general, but probably because of other apartments cooking. I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location, you are able to get to the city center of Basel in just ten minutes by bus 604 or tram 11 just from across the border. The room is a lovely size with everything you need. The bed was so comfortable and it is in a generally quiet area. I was able to pay for a later check out which was great, and was able to leave my suitcase with the staff until I was ready to head for the airport, which gives me a couple hours to explore before I have to leave, which I'm sad about. Without a doubt I will visit again very soon. Highly recommended for an amazing price.

Apartment was clean. Kitchen are was small. We only used the fridge. Location good for the tram ti Basel. Approx 3 minute walk and a 15 minute tram ride. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is no air-conditioning so beware in the summer. We did have 2 x fans though so we slept ok. Pool also a relief in the got weather. Beds were very comfortable. This is a budget hotel, so you must bare that in mind. I would happily stay there again.

This place is defined due a refurb. The furniture is dated, the carpet stained and the rooms are not soundproofed at all so it is very noisy at night from people in other rooms. Cheap and convenient parking and friendly, helpful staff stopped this from being a total write off.

really good value for money accommodation, for the price & proximity to Basel city centre it was the best I could find. From arriving the staff were all very friendly & professional. The room was clean with all electrical appliances working. The only downside was a little noise from the traffic outside, with the room facing the road. We didn’t use the breakfast facilities or the pool, this was our own choice. If visiting Basel again we would definitely consider staying at the hotel.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, were always available if you needed help with anything. The hotel was about a 2 min walk from the closest train station which for us was perfect to go into the centre of Basel, and it was only about a 12/15 minute journey!! The hotel did state there was an outside pool but was only able to find the inside. Whether this is a seasonal thing for the outside I’m not sure or it could’ve been stated elsewhere why it wasn’t open, so could be my fault for not looking and reading properly🙈

Great stay, friendly and helpful reception who helped for a smooth check-in and explained all what is necessary to know, like the breakfast time, if you have booked a breakfast, or the use of the swimming pool. Apartment studio was equiped with the oven, microwave, coffeemaker and 2 gratis coffee pod to drink. Available 6 further coffee pod to make the own coffee. Nice. Good stay.

Nice reception, but communication was not easy, i took only 2 breakfasts, but 3 was charged, in the end this problem solved. Bathroom has no working ventilation system, it came worst air ever. Unfortunately they could offer me any other room.

A good place to stay with easy access to Basel city and friendly staff but the bathroom in our apartment was not cleaned to good standards and it wasn’t made clear that housekeeping was only done once a week and bins have to be emptied ourselves. Breakfast was very basic for €12pp per day, going to the local boulangerie is better. There isn’t much to do in the area but wold recommend for anyone visiting Basel as it’s only a 10 min tram ride to the city centre.

Das Frühstück war gut. Ebenfalls ist der Pool zu empfehlen. Was nicht gut gewesen ist, das das Zimmer nicht gereinigt worden ist. Was man auch wissen muss ist, das es keine Klimaanlage in diesem Hotel gibt.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für einen Basel-und-Umgebung-Urlaub. Alle Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücks-Buffet ist qualitativ super aber von der Auswahl eher überschaubar, kein vegan, kein Rührei und Bacon. Die Kochmöglichkeit im Zimmer haben wir sehr geschätzt, denn Essen-Gehen in Basel macht arm.

This property is just over the French border but Basel tram 11 gets close. Pool was a pleasant surprise. Rooms are good size, shower stall well designed. Day Concierges were very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good (cook your own real eggs).
