Brit Hotel Bourges - L'Olympia

This was a drab, scruffy building set in a desolate concrete wasteland next door to an abandoned and dilapidated Buffalo Grill. No wonder you didn't show any pictures of the exterior! The room was fine, but you either had a view of the carpark on one side of the building or traffic noise on the other. There was no bar, no restaurant, no tea making facilities, nobody there until 5.00 in the evening. In all a soulless and dispiriting fexperience.

For a one night stay travelling through France it was OK. The hoetl is a bit 'tatty' but the room was clean and the bed comfotable, a good shower and the air conditioning in one of the rooms was brilliant. In the other room we had booked it wasn;t working an the hotel staff said they would try to get it fixed but nothing was sorted, or a change of room offered. Overall, if you just want something with no frills and don't mind staying in a hotel that is in desperate need of redecoration, then you should be fine. The restaurant (Buffelo Grill) next door to the hotel was great, the service & food were excellent.

Halte sur la route des vacances de Noël.

Hôtel complétement rénové avec goût (à l’intérieur), bonne literie, calme, bon accueil, prope. Bon rapport qualité/confort/prix, parking sur place. De quoi se faire un thé ou un café en chambre serait un plus.
