We arrived on October 18th around 1 PM and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Assem, one of the most professional and respectful people you could ever meet. He helped us with an upgrade to our rooms, and while waiting for them to be ready, we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, honestly above expectations. 🏖️ Facilities: • Pool: Big, clean, and very nice. • Aqua Park: Unfortunately, there’s barely one — just two small slides, nothing more. • Beach: Absolutely beautiful! You can see amazing fish and coral reefs. The beginning of the beach is sandy, and as you go deeper, you’ll find stunning coral areas — perfect for snorkeling. 🍽️ Food: • Savory food: Honestly, very tasty and varied, both for lunch and dinner. ⭐️ Rating: 9/10 • Desserts: This was the weakest part of the hotel. Most desserts weren’t good at all, and definitely not at the same level as the main food. Only one night they served special desserts that were nice. ⭐️ Rating: 2/10 Special thanks to Chef Gaber, who makes the best pizza by the beach during lunchtime — it’s really delicious! There’s also freshly made Egyptian feteer by the beach, which tastes great too. Animation Team: The animation team was friendly, active, and made the atmosphere very enjoyable. Overall, Prima Life Makadi is a lovely hotel with great food, friendly staff, and a beautiful beach — just needs improvement in the dessert section and aqua park.

Das WLAN war in Ordnung, das Hotel insgesamt sehr sauber und die Pools wurden täglich gereinigt. In den Restaurants gab es eine große Auswahl an Speisen und auch die Getränke mit Eis konnten wir bedenkenlos genießen, da die Anlage über gefiltertes Wasser verfügte. Magen-Darm-Probleme hatten wir keine, lediglich zum Zähneputzen haben wir Flaschenwasser genutzt. Die Kinder hatten sowohl im Pool mit Rutsche als auch in den flacheren Pools ohne Rutsche viel Spaß – die Wassertiefe war ideal. Etwa 30 Minuten Fahrtzeit entfernt befand sich ein Einkaufszentrum, und auch viele Aktivitäten lagen in einem ähnlichen Umkreis. Etwas merkwürdig fanden wir, dass trotz All-Inclusive bei der Beach-Party des Hotels ein Eintritt von 10 € pro Person verlangt wurde. Auch die Padel-Aktivität (13 € pro Stunde) sowie frisch gepresster Orangensaft und ähnliche Extras mussten zusätzlich bezahlt werden. Abgesehen davon war alles wirklich top 👍. Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kindern sehr zufrieden und haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen.

My wife & I have just returned from our 10 night stay in Prima Life where I celebrated my 60th. My honest opinion of our stay is, I would consider this more a 4* hotel. Although the rooms were lovely they were not as I would expect as a 5* hotel. The rooms were clean and I opt for a sea view with balcony which was nice. Room cleaning was excellent and our room cleaner Ali was fantastic and did a great job. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay but we did get hounded by one of the staff members trying to sell us a candle light dinner & exclusive dinner every day even though I had already booked this ahead with Expedia but he made out I was not telling the truth. The overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this hotel. The hotel has got some entertainment and some that is paid for. The trip with Tito’s to Make a wish (Magawish) island was worth every penny and would highly recommend it. It’s an all day trip with snorkeling and a stop to a lovely island, great scenery of pictures. If your traveling take Dollars and you do need a Visa purchased on arrival or online ahead. No credit cards accepted at the airport although you can withdraw money but the exchange rate isn’t great.

Sandy area is great for kids. Only downside: narrow beachfront and limited sunbeds—go early. Aqua park was fun and not crowded. The sea is beautiful and the snorkeling is superb. We were really impressed by the lifeguards who keep a close watch to keep everyone safe. The pool is very quiet and has a heated part that is great. The waterslides were nice. The entertainment team work hard and try to engage you but not too much. We were here over Halloween and they really did an impressive job. Staff are really pleasant and personable. We did boat trip with Tito's from the beach that was lovely. This is a very international hotel with 10 plus nationalities that we really enjoyed this. Really clean site, we asked for a ground floor room and this was provided so we were really happy, public toilets really clean as are all public areas We used shuttle into hurgada which was great Food is widely available throughout site at all times This is a fairly small hotel but it really is great we had a superb time We also bought massages and beauty treatments and paid extra for special lobster dinner which was lovely

Very large and quite varied buffet restaurant, but not very inclined to European tastes, average themed restaurants. Disappointing gym, small and outdated. The water is crystal clear. - Staff: Everyone was super welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. - Food: Really enjoyed the meals! There was always something fresh to try, and the quality was excellent for an all-inclusive. - Pools/Area: The pools are lovely and the grounds are very clean. It was easy to find a sunbed and just relax. The hotel was excellent for a 1 week chill out in February. The staff were accommodating and the excursions around the area were good and also very cheap. The pool was freezing so didn't dip at all but did swim in the sea once or twice

Freundliches Personal. Mitarbeiter sind um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Das Büfett war sehr umfangreich und abwechslungsreich. Große Zimmer. Riesiger Pool. Animationsteam war nicht sehr aufdringlich. Sehr gute Schnorchelmöglichlichkeit mit tollen Riffs.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im PLM (2 Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern im Alter von 4 und 7 Jahren). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einige konnten auch sehr gut Deutsch. Die Zimmer waren sauber und es gab jeden Tag frisches Flaschenwasser aber z.T. war die Einrichtung schon was in die Jahre gekommen. Für uns war das aber nicht schlimm. Das Essen war lecker und vielfältig, auch wenn nicht immer das richtige für die Kinder dabei war. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker aber leider nur bis 10.00, was für unsere Langschläferkinder immer frühes wecken bedeutete. Das Late-Frühstück war leider eher ein warmer Snack und nicht das richtige für uns. Die frische Pizza mittags am Strand war toll und auch die Poolbar mitten im Pool. Das Animationsteam war auch sehr freundlich und grüßte die Kinder immer zwischendurch. Den Kindern gefiel die Minidisco und die Shows jeden Abend. Auch wenn es wohl besser wäre die halbe Stunde Wartezeit zwischen der Minidisco und der Show wegzulassen, damit es nicht so spät für die Kinder wird. Zumindest wenn kein Bingo/Tombola ist. Uns hat besonders der Strand gefallen und das Schnorcheln im Hausriff direkt vom Strand aus. Das war einfach toll für die Kinder nicht so weit raus zu müssen und direkt Fische zu sehen. Ein paar negative Punkte gab es aber dann doch auch. Wir hatten oft Probleme eine Liege am Strand zu finden. Der Pool war für die Kinder leider etwas kalt und der versprochene exklusive Wasserpark waren nur 3 Rutschen.

Wir waren eigentlich ganz zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Essen war gut, lediglich einmal in 10 Tagen, hatte ich Magenprobleme. Die Sauberkeit lässt ehrlich gesagt zu wünschen übrig, zumindest in den Zimmern. Richtig putzen sieht da anders aus. Das Personal war allerdings sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bei Anliegen. Die Anlage ist recht gemütlich und überschaubar und gepflegt. Auch der Strandabschnitt war sehr gepflegt. Auf Sicherheit in und außerhalb des Wassers wurde sehr geachtet. Lediglich der Strandabschnitt vom Hotel ist zu klein, wenn das Hotel voll ausgebucht war. Leider wird den doofen „ich reserviere meine Liege schon früh morgens und lasse mich dann Stunden nicht blicken“ Menschen nicht so hintergegangen wie in der Hotelsnweisung geschrieben wird „es darf nicht reserviert werden“. Ein sehr schönes Hausriff ist vorhanden, da würden wir uns allerdings wünschen, dass die Menschen mehr aufgeklärt werden, diese nicht anzufassen oder darauf herumzutrampeln (keine Ahnung ob es Unwissenheit oder purer Egoismus der Menschen der Natur gegenüber ist). Die „Firmen“ die man am Strand für Aktivitäten buchen kann, kann man machen, muss man aber nicht. Wir haben persönlich vor allem bei der Delfintour mit denen schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht und können diese absolut nicht ans Herz legen, wenn man einem das Tierwohl am Herzen liegt (reine Hetzjagt auf die Delfine). O.H. Tours empfehlen wir dafür vom Herzen. Wir würden das Hotel aber nochmal besuchen.
Wir waren eigentlich ganz zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Essen war gut, lediglich einmal in 10 Tagen, hatte ich Magenprobleme. Die Sauberkeit lässt ehrlich gesagt zu wünschen übrig, zumindest in den Zimmern. Richtig putzen sieht da anders aus. Das Personal war allerdings sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bei Anliegen. Die Anlage ist recht gemütlich und überschaubar und gepflegt. Auch der Strandabschnitt war sehr gepflegt. Auf Sicherheit in und außerhalb des Wassers wurde sehr geachtet. Lediglich der Strandabschnitt vom Hotel ist zu klein, wenn das Hotel voll ausgebucht war. Leider wird den doofen „ich reserviere meine Liege schon früh morgens und lasse mich dann Stunden nicht blicken“ Menschen nicht so hintergegangen wie in der Hotelsnweisung geschrieben wird „es darf nicht reserviert werden“. Ein sehr schönes Hausriff ist vorhanden, da würden wir uns allerdings wünschen, dass die Menschen mehr aufgeklärt werden, diese nicht anzufassen oder darauf herumzutrampeln (keine Ahnung ob es Unwissenheit oder purer Egoismus der Menschen der Natur gegenüber ist). Die „Firmen“ die man am Strand für Aktivitäten buchen kann, kann man machen, muss man aber nicht. Wir haben persönlich vor allem bei der Delfintour mit denen schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht und können diese absolut nicht ans Herz legen, wenn man einem das Tierwohl am Herzen liegt (reine Hetzjagt auf die Delfine). O.H. Tours empfehlen wir dafür vom Herzen. Wir würden das Hotel aber nochmal besuchen.

Mit anfängliche Skepsis, haben wir ein gutes Zimmer bekommen und waren sehr positiv über das gesamte Personal, aber auch über die Anlage selbst überrascht. Besonders möchte ich auch hervorheben , dass auch Hochwertige Möbel in der Strandbar aufgestellt sind. Es gibt wirklich ausreichend liegen und das Haus ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Aber auch die hygienischen Umstände in diesem Hotel selbst sind sehr zufrieden stellend. Das Personal ist stets bemüht, alles am Buffet sauber und hygienisch zu halten. We had a relaxed and comfortable stay at Prima Life. The rooms are big and soundproof. Good beds and great cleaning every day. The first night our AC didn't work, and it took some effort to get it fixed, but after that it was fine. We liked the garden and pool, and the reef is pretty nice for snorkeling. Food was okay, but not great. Fine for breakfast, really nice pizza service at the beach for lunch, but for vegetarians, the options at the dinner buffet were a bit limited and the food wasn't always tasty. The beach was crowded, and many people were claiming sunbeds early in the morning already, even though the resort asks you not to do that. So we just went there for snorkeling and then back to the pool. All in all, we had a very nice stay, and the resort staff is very friendly and helpful.

We arrived on October 18th around 1 PM and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Assem, one of the most professional and respectful people you could ever meet. He helped us with an upgrade to our rooms, and while waiting for them to be ready, we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, honestly above expectations. 🏖️ Facilities: • Pool: Big, clean, and very nice. • Aqua Park: Unfortunately, there’s barely one — just two small slides, nothing more. • Beach: Absolutely beautiful! You can see amazing fish and coral reefs. The beginning of the beach is sandy, and as you go deeper, you’ll find stunning coral areas — perfect for snorkeling. 🍽️ Food: • Savory food: Honestly, very tasty and varied, both for lunch and dinner. ⭐️ Rating: 9/10 • Desserts: This was the weakest part of the hotel. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im PLM (2 Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern im Alter von 4 und 7 Jahren). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einige konnten auch sehr gut Deutsch. Die Zimmer waren sauber und es gab jeden Tag frisches Flaschenwasser aber z.T. war die Einrichtung schon was in die Jahre gekommen. Für uns war das aber nicht schlimm. Das Essen war lecker und vielfältig, auch wenn nicht immer das richtige für die Kinder dabei war. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker aber leider nur bis 10.00, was für unsere Langschläferkinder immer frühes wecken bedeutete. Das Late-Frühstück war leider eher ein warmer Snack und nicht das richtige für uns. Die frische Pizza mittags am Strand war toll und auch die Poolbar mitten im Pool. Das Animationsteam war auch sehr freundlich und grüßte die Kinder immer zwischendurch. Den Kindern gefiel die Minidisco und die Shows jeden Abend. Auch wenn es wohl besser wäre die halbe Stunde Wartezeit zwischen der Minidisco und der Show wegzulassen, damit es nicht so spät für die Kinder wird. Zumindest wenn kein Bingo/Tombola ist. Uns hat besonders der Strand gefallen und das Schnorcheln im Hausriff direkt vom Strand aus. Das war einfach toll für die Kinder nicht so weit raus zu müssen und direkt Fische zu sehen. Ein paar negative Punkte gab es aber dann doch auch. Wir hatten oft Probleme eine Liege am Strand zu finden. Der Pool war für die Kinder leider etwas kalt und der versprochene exklusive Wasserpark waren nur 3 Rutschen.

My wife & I have just returned from our 10 night stay in Prima Life where I celebrated my 60th. My honest opinion of our stay is, I would consider this more a 4* hotel. Although the rooms were lovely they were not as I would expect as a 5* hotel. The rooms were clean and I opt for a sea view with balcony which was nice. Room cleaning was excellent and our room cleaner Ali was fantastic and did a great job. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay but we did get hounded by one of the staff members trying to sell us a candle light dinner & exclusive dinner every day even though I had already booked this ahead with Expedia but he made out I was not telling the truth. The overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this hotel. The hotel has got some entertainment and some that is paid for. The trip with Tito’s to Make a wish (Magawish) island was worth every penny and would highly recommend it. It’s an all day trip with snorkeling and a stop to a lovely island, great scenery of pictures. If your traveling take Dollars and you do need a Visa purchased on arrival or online ahead. No credit cards accepted at the airport although you can withdraw money but the exchange rate isn’t great.

Overall a nice hotel! We had the best sea view room - it was spacious, clean and AC worked well. The shower was weak, especially in the evenings when everyone is back from the pool and beach to shower at the same time. Buffet food wasn't great but the A La Carte restaurants were much better. Lots of food and drink options, so for all inclusive it's a good deal. Location was right on the beach and we saw lots of fish and coral in the sea. Lots of the staff around the resort don't speak English well so getting correct information was sometimes difficult.

The overall stay was really really nice. Service was really good. Location for snorkeling was excellent. Food and drinks was so-and-so but what you would expect for all inclusive. We did have issues in the room with the aircondition that didn't really work, but the fan did - so it was okay. And in the room there sometimes was a bad smell from the drain. Security was excellent and you always feel safe. Despite the smaller issues we had a great stay.
The overall stay was really really nice. Service was really good. Location for snorkeling was excellent. Food and drinks was so-and-so but what you would expect for all inclusive. Our stay was amazing. The only thing is that the food buffet needs enhancement. Better and wider variety of food needed. The room bedding mattress or pillows needs improvement. The mattress wasn’t the best and the pillows were so soft. We asked for better pillows but we got similar ones to the ones we have. Other than that our stay was impeccable.

We had an excellent time at Prima Life Makadi! The reception staff upgraded our room and were always helpful and kind. A big thank you to Ahmed at the reception desk! He was so kind and helpful to our family. The hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful! We would definitely come back here.

We stayed for 10 days and had the same food over and over. No pool side drinks were served other than the ones you paid extra for like fresh squeezed orange juice. They walked around trying to sell excursions, romantic dinner or Massages which was annoying. They tripled the price for medicine in their pharmacy and bazar compared to the pharmacies in the city. Charged us 30 euros one way from the airport for shuttle to the resort. We got a taxi and he charged us 14 euros to take us back to the airport. It was just a money hungry place. WiFi didn’t work half the time. When one of the waiters didn’t clean the table quick enough his boss was shouting at him across the dining hall where people were eating. Not very professional.

This hotel was a 10/10 for me. i booked for my partners 30th birthday as a present and it completely met my expectations. All staff are welcoming and friendly at the resort, from reception, cleaning staff, hospitality, animation team, security etc. they try and help you with any queries you may have from the moment you check-in. this hotel also has its own private beach and a huge central pool which runs down the centre of the resort, with a swim up bar and different areas of depths depending on your preference. The beach is decked with complimentary sunbeds / umbrellas with toilets nearby. we never struggled to get a sunbed, you dont have to put yout towel out early and have a variety of options to sit by the pool. there are also a few outdoor bars which serve food and drink in close proximity to both the pool and beach front. The rooms are also incredibly spacious, i booked a standard room and you can see from the image below how large the bed is + all the additional floor space. the buffet restaurant also swaps up a theme each night (Egyptian, Italian etc) so theres loads of variety + 4 al a carte restaurants to choose from. the hotel itself is further away from any amenities, its 30mins from Hurghada centre but the hotel does run evening shuttles for a marginal price (7 euros approx). they also run their own excursions from the lobby

This is a fantastic resort property. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The food and staff are fantastic. There were activities on the beach like volleyball and yoga. There is an onsite dive shop and an activity center that can book you for parasailing and snorkeling. I believe some of the reviews for this hotel said there is snorkeling right off the hotel beach, but I did not see any (it is a bay, not a coral reef). The only other negative is the resort area where this hotel is at is far away (35-45 mins) from some activities such as some snorkeling and diving tours and horseback riding (tour operators will charge you an extra fee for the longer distance pick up and drop off, approx $10-$12 per person) We loved our stay and we would like to come back again.

Very simple structure that excels in cleanliness and courtesy. Overlooking probably the most beautiful beach in Makadi, it is possible to swim directly on the coral reef a few steps from the sea. The hotel is wonderful, the beach and swimming pools, the food is excellent quality and varied varieties, the staff is very helpful, especially Mr. Mahmoud Atta at the reception is a very professional and helpful person. The only drawback is that the hotel is very far from any hiking or shopping places in Makadi or Hurghada

Room was spacious, modern and clean. Fantastic & friendly daily house keeping service by Omar in block 6. The Maître d'hôtel, Mohammed provided excellent service to our family each time we came to eat at the restaurant. We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. My sister and my two nieces. Great facilities for kids by the way. Overall the pools were great, ambience of the hotel at night was nice, the beach was incredible and had a really great snorkelling spot. Food choices were good. I felt that some of the tours & spa prices sold at the resort were expensive. My sister expressed that sometimes she felt interrupted by the staff trying to sell tours and approach her when she is trying to relax at the beach. The hotel was packed with tourists, mainly from Russia and Europe. Some occasions, I felt a little out of place as an english speaking Aussie and did not come across any other native english speaking guests during my stay. A lot of the staff spoke fluent German or Russian but struggled with english I found. I had a private driver (not related to hotel services) from Luxor to the hotel and on arrival I noticed he got out of the car and walked to the security hut. I queried it and my driver told me he had to pay the security guard 100 EGP baksheesh just to be able to enter and drop me off at reception. I felt bad so I reimbursed my driver for the baksheesh. I was not happy about this treatment upon arrival at Prima Life Makadi. disappointing.

We arrived on October 18th around 1 PM and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Assem, one of the most professional and respectful people you could ever meet. He helped us with an upgrade to our rooms, and while waiting for them to be ready, we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, honestly above expectations. 🏖️ Facilities: • Pool: Big, clean, and very nice. • Aqua Park: Unfortunately, there’s barely one — just two small slides, nothing more. • Beach: Absolutely beautiful! You can see amazing fish and coral reefs. The beginning of the beach is sandy, and as you go deeper, you’ll find stunning coral areas — perfect for snorkeling. 🍽️ Food: • Savory food: Honestly, very tasty and varied, both for lunch and dinner. ⭐️ Rating: 9/10 • Desserts: This was the weakest part of the hotel. Most desserts weren’t good at all, and definitely not at the same level as the main food. Only one night they served special desserts that were nice. ⭐️ Rating: 2/10 Special thanks to Chef Gaber, who makes the best pizza by the beach during lunchtime — it’s really delicious! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im PLM (2 Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern im Alter von 4 und 7 Jahren). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einige konnten auch sehr gut Deutsch. Die Zimmer waren sauber und es gab jeden Tag frisches Flaschenwasser aber z.T. war die Einrichtung schon was in die Jahre gekommen. Für uns war das aber nicht schlimm. Das Essen war lecker und vielfältig, auch wenn nicht immer das richtige für die Kinder dabei war. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker aber leider nur bis 10.00, was für unsere Langschläferkinder immer frühes wecken bedeutete. Das Late-Frühstück war leider eher ein warmer Snack und nicht das richtige für uns. Die frische Pizza mittags am Strand war toll und auch die Poolbar mitten im Pool. Das Animationsteam war auch sehr freundlich und grüßte die Kinder immer zwischendurch. Den Kindern gefiel die Minidisco und die Shows jeden Abend. Auch wenn es wohl besser wäre die halbe Stunde Wartezeit zwischen der Minidisco und der Show wegzulassen, damit es nicht so spät für die Kinder wird. Zumindest wenn kein Bingo/Tombola ist. Uns hat besonders der Strand gefallen und das Schnorcheln im Hausriff direkt vom Strand aus. Das war einfach toll für die Kinder nicht so weit raus zu müssen und direkt Fische zu sehen. Ein paar negative Punkte gab es aber dann doch auch. Wir hatten oft Probleme eine Liege am Strand zu finden. Der Pool war für die Kinder leider etwas kalt und der versprochene exklusive Wasserpark waren nur 3 Rutschen.

Breakfast portions and portions were great. The eggs station chef was always cooperative and helpful, plenty of veggies, fruit, bakery, and oven fresh bread and Egyptian Feteer. Same goes to the launch with so many fresh options, varied meal options including great pastry on offer. Dinner options varied every day with a specific themes each day that makes the dinner staff change the table clothing and their costume accordingly. Room service staff are wonderful and very helpful

Overall a nice hotel! We had the best sea view room - it was spacious, clean and AC worked well. The shower was weak, especially in the evenings when everyone is back from the pool and beach to shower at the same time. Buffet food wasn't great but the A La Carte restaurants were much better. Lots of food and drink options, so for all inclusive it's a good deal. Location was right on the beach and we saw lots of fish and coral in the sea. Lots of the staff around the resort don't speak English well so getting correct information was sometimes difficult.

Cold pool, bad food, bad cocktails, small and overcrowded beach, cheap furnishings, terrible entertainment team, vendors walking around the hotel hassling you constantly.... I wouldn't recommend staying here. Find a nicer place.

Our stay was amazing. The only thing is that the food buffet needs enhancement. Better and wider variety of food needed. The room bedding mattress or pillows needs improvement. The mattress wasn’t the best and the pillows were so soft. We asked for better pillows but we got similar ones to the ones we have. Other than that our stay was impeccable.

We had a relaxed and comfortable stay at Prima Life. The rooms are big and soundproof. Good beds and great cleaning every day. The first night our AC didn't work, and it took some effort to get it fixed, but after that it was fine. We liked the garden and pool, and the reef is pretty nice for snorkeling. Food was okay, but not great. Fine for breakfast, really nice pizza service at the beach for lunch, but for vegetarians, the options at the dinner buffet were a bit limited and the food wasn't always tasty. The beach was crowded, and many people were claiming sunbeds early in the morning already, even though the resort asks you not to do that. So we just went there for snorkeling and then back to the pool. All in all, we had a very nice stay, and the resort staff is very friendly and helpful.
