The pool is a bit too cold

My stay at the Hampton Inn was very nice and relaxing. Unfortunately i cannot give a 5star only because it advertised heated pool and it wasn't 😫. More like ice pool. I was looking forward to my day at the pool.

While the hotel boasted of an “all seasons” pool, the pool room was kept colder than the outside temperature….in DECEMBER. Staff claimed to be unable to increase the temperature of the room to make it more comfortable. Two $50 gift cards went missing after the maid staff cleaned the room, and while the desk worker promised to leave a note, there was little other follow-up. Room was adequately clean, though some other guests’ hairs could be found in the bathroom. Breakfast was limited, and staff were slow at restocking items. I really wanted to enjoy my stay here, and I looked forward to the pool for weeks. My stay was incredibly disappointing and I will never stay here again.

The room spelled very musty and damp. The pillows were flat. The uce machine was out of order as well as the pool.

The pool water was very cloudy. Made us a little nervous to let the kids in.

I was informed that this property will be charging for parking. This is not a specialized hotel nor does it have covered parking so why would they start charging for parking? Nothing on the property would demand paying for parking.

Our room (suite) was mostly impeccable, there were some areas that could be upgraded. The beds were not the most comfortable, but definitely not the worst. All staff we talked to were helpful. We felt safe and the hotel was quiet and enjoyable. The breakfast was not impressive, the coffee was good. The kids enjoyed the pool even though the water wasn't clear. We would stay again if we drive to Florida again as our "halfway" point.

Property assistant complained about working a double. Then pool heater broken, and door didn’t open with key after 10pm and had to wait a while for assistant to come open door.

The man who checked us in was very nice. However, the wash cloths and towels were not stocked nor was the bathroom cleaned prior to our occupancy. We found a dirty wash cloth on the tub with hair all over it, for example. They can do a better job of cleaning and preparing the room for new occupants.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We love that we can rotate TV to watch on bed or sitting on sofabed. The closet is twice the size of most hotels. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast has a wide variety to satisfy anyone's taste and dietary restriction. The breakfast lady was prompt refilling everything as needed. We always stop there on our way to FL from WI.

There was mold in the bathroom. They had over-sold the property. So although I paid for a suite, it was not available, and I just had to accept what they had.

Made reservations earlier in the afternoon, made it to the hotel around midnight. Checked in- go to the room and there was a man in our room! As a mom traveling with a teenage daughter, huge huge issue. The man was asleep on the sofa, never woke up, he was snoring pretty good. Went to the front desk while the clerk tried to sort out the issue. There was no one checked into the room and said it was probably one of the renovations crew. The hotel was “sold out.” So the clerk changed our room to a lesser room, had originally booked double queen with pull-out sofa etc, a suite. The room we got was not a suite, just two beds. Instead of having us continue to wait, she let us into the room with her master key. The bathroom needed more attention. Dirt, hair, and standing water stains on the floor in the corners, dirt along the edges of the floor as well as on the baseboard ledges. There was a mis-cutting of the tile around the shower on handle- a 1/4” gap between the plate and tile on the left side. In the morning I went down for breakfast and to talk to the front desk. Grabbed food and went back to my room, the key doesn’t work. Go back downstairs to talk to the clerk. He said there’s nothing he could do about the room, it was sold out last night. He was baffled that I was still listed in room 325, not 317. He first said he would just refund the room, then he back tracked and said he’d get in trouble and offered a discount. Key still wasn’t working when I checked out.

Our room was very clean and well maintained. The beds were more comfortable than some other Hampton hotels we have been in recently.

We were traveling through the area and had to make a last minute reservation through hotels.com while driving. The app give use trouble but we finally were able to book the room. We picked the Hampton over the Fairfield because of the “Junior Suite” and wanted to stretch out after a long drive. I think we would have been better off at the Fairfield. The Hampton customer service was lackluster, the beds were awful and the bed was mediocre. Additional there is no WiFi unless you are a Hilton members or you pay for it.

Very nice, shiny new Hampton. No free wifi, but that's (corporate owner) Hilton's typical. And I'm not joining any hotelier's fan club just to get wifi. Otherwise... very nice.

Location was just off I-65 near Athens & Huntsville, and one exit north of Buc-ees, with easy access to the interstate. Hotel room was nicer than most Hampton Inns, with a desk dividing the room into 2 rooms that are nicely equipped, including coffee bar with frig. Room was spacious, comfortable & clean. Employees were very helpful, and breakfast was good, as usual at Hampton Inns.

Bed was not comfortable at all. It’s was dark in the room.

Roomy clean breakfast area. Nice large suite for 4 adults/1child. Clean for the most part. Would have loved an extra chair (only 1). Open and well lit stairwell above average.

Room was comfortable and clean. Paint on the bathroom ceiling was peeling from moisture. Some road noise from the highway. breakfast had good selection. Additional incorrect charge was added to credit card that had to be removed once I notified the Hotel.

Air conditioning sounded like prop plane taking off. Wierd furniture. Not even a plastic glass on bathroom. Definitely a C class motel for the price.

Wonderful greeting and conversation during check in. Clean rooms and very nice hotel.

Check in was quick and the entire staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful!

The person at the front desk told us a third party app booked us 2 rooms and not 1. We booked 1. She was so concerned with proving us wrong she told us to come around the counter and look at her computer. About 9pm we got a call from a manager because the front desk girl was trying to book someone else in the room we were staying in. They did apologize for the mix up but the first time the girl should have just verified and not tried to prove we were wrong.

The toilet got clogged. We asked for a plunger, which they brought. However, it was too small to cover the entire hole of the toilet so it wouldn’t do anything. We called again to ask and were told they were too busy and didn’t know when they could get to us. We had to go get food for our kids. We called when we got back and they said they’d called our room while we were gone to switch our room, but we didn’t answer. Now they were sold out and had no way to fix the toilet. No maintenance or other plunger that works on their toilets. They offered no solution and barely a rude apology. We spent the night with no working toilet with two small kids. We had to go downstairs to the lobby to use the restroom. Luckily it was just a quick overnight stay.

Very friendly front desk staff!

Staff was very helpful with some complications I caused by the way I reserved rooms. Thankfully, all went well and we enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were clean. When we needed more wash cloths and hand towels, they were quickly provided. Even though the hotels backs up to interstate 65, you would never know it without looking out the window. All was quiet in the room!

DJ at the check in desk is amazing! Our rooms were perfect and we could not have been happier with our stay.

This is the nicest Hampton Inn we’ve ever stayed at. Front desk was super friendly upon check in and even sent a text asking if our room was satisfactory. Kudos to the housekeeping staff as our room was super clean. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I booked three rooms for family and myself. It was quite and clean. A bit dated furniture wise. Due to traffic back ups and bad weather we arrived later than we planned. Only had 10 minutes from ck in to leave for a Dinner/show. Was disappointed with Dinning room… ran out of the single coffee creamers, so no cup of ambition there. (Very much needed), Two of the three pumps of various creamers on the side, were also out. This was around 8:15. Also, at that time out of juice. Don’t think they planned very well. There were lots of kids there. We had three with us. However, the eggs and sausage were good and the Waffle maker was a hit with a lot of people. I did not watch TV, but my nephew said it was difficult to see from bed because it did not rotate. This might be something to consider if/when updating. Over all, I would book there again. Just gotta remember to make sure to bring my own half/half. 😊
