Hampton Inn & Suites Athens-I-65 (Huntsville Area)

Room was nice. Pool was so so. It was a bit dirty and cloudy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and filling.

Traveled with my family during a cross country trip and this was our stopping point. Pros: -Right off highway -Check in was quick -Clean room Cons: -Outside looked shabby -Check in person refused to give us 2 cribs in case other families needed them. Sorry I have twins lol -pool was extremely cloudy and cold. Didn’t really want to swim in it -breakfast was not very good. Like powdered eggs, cold sausages. Coffee was never refilled so I didn’t get any.

Thought the $75 pet fee was a bit outrageous. Plus $3 parking? Not a city. Lady who checked us in last night could’ve been a bit more friendly. Nice big room, but light flickered in shower area and sink near fridge leaked onto the wall. Morning breakfast lady was very kind.,,got me more boiled eggs.

The property was nice....my only problem was with checking in....I paid in advance through Hotels.com and was still charged $20 and a parking fee...I also think I was overcharged through Hotels .com based on the person checking in in front of me. He was quoted $30 less..same size room.

The staff was great. I enjoyed meeting DJ, who made check in easy. The room was nice and gym was clean and everything working. Breakfast was good, I enjoyed the waffles.
