The rooms are spacious and clean. Our bed was very comfortable. Love that the property has a nice pool and hot tub. The staff was friendly and helpful. The landscaping could use some TLC. Overall, we would stay here again.

Murphy’s Resort brings you back to a simpler time. It feels like walking into summer camp. In the center of the resort is a community area for campfires, there are playgrounds, a house that contains the indoor hot tub and laundry. The buildings are all one level, there are four main buildings. The room was simple, and comfortable. It was incredibly quiet. I never once heard a neighboring room. The one improvement that could be made in the rooms is more curtains on the side facing the road- lights were a bit of an annoyance. I loved having a comfortable recliner, and a bar height table to sit at. Next time would get a room that has the back patio, I would love to grill out back. The office was well stocked. Tons of dvds to check out and board games. Also they have a small but well stocked gift shop that also has essentials. The family was craving ice cream later in the evening, and we just had to walk over to get it. Breakfast was the nicest continental (cold) breakfast I’ve seen. There were danishes, muffins, granola bars, toast, bagels, yogurt, boiled eggs, and cereal. They had coffee, hot chocolate, and juice too. In the warmer months, I’m sure the attached patio would be nice for al fresco morning dining. Also, I loved that the views were great and we were just on the outskirts of town. This meant we had some quiet enjoyment without too much noise. There were still some great places to eat nearby though. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!

Very short drive into Estes business district. Friendly helpful staff. Very quiet and short walk to Lake Estes with walking trail. Bikes sort of ‘ancient’ so did not use them. Noticed carpeting around pool was very dirty and not conducive to walking barefoot/fungal infections. Overall a good place to stay—clean comfortable beds which is key👍

Absolutely loved our stay at Murphey's!! Our room smelled strongly of cleaning products, so I asked if we could have a different room & it was no problem. The second room was wonderful!!! It was really big, clean, comfortable & looked like it had been remodeled recently. The bed was comfortable & the bedding was really lovely. They have lots of things right there on the property to do, playground, bikes, pool, hot tub, tetherball, etc. There are also tons of movies you can borrow, free breakfast, a nice fireplace sitting area, free popcorn & coffee. All of the employees we interacted with were really friendly & accommodating. We will definitely be back!!!!!

The photos of the rooms on this site make them look really pretty nice. Room was dingy, bathroom dirty, 2 plugs in the room, beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and we just couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Rating and photos didn’t match reality.

The property is an old-style motel. Car parking was Infront of the room with room entry directly onto the parking area. The bathroom was small and dated, with a very small shower. The sinking was in the room, not the bathroom. I would venture to say this motel is somewhat run down.

Although it leaves a little to be desired from the exterior, however this property is a hidden gem! For the affordability, the rooms are spacious, cute, and clean. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and while we didn't get to enjoy the pool or hot tub (hours we were there), we were thoroughly satisfied with this hotel! Highly recommend if on a budget. Nothing to complain about!

The line to check in was long. The window ac is noisy so I turned it off whenever comfortable and listened to the next doors ac unit cycle on and off. The floor creaks also so sleeping soundly is a challenge. On the plus side, the unit is clean, the tv offers countless channels and there are a lot of amenities to enjoy.

We enjoyed our stay at Murphy’s resort. There was goose poop everywhere though not the fault of the owners. The managers were very accommodating and helpful. We loved the selection of dvds and games. The room and playground could use some updating/maintenance but we had no real issues with it. Overall it was a nice stay.

The staff and the room were amazing, from the check in process to check out, they were kind and welcoming. I left an expensive hoodie behind on accident, they called as soon as they found it and shipped it out to me. Would highly recommend, I am definitely going back!

Went to try and check in early and the girl appeared unhappy and like I was disturbing her. She said she would text when the room was ready. Three hours later I went back and asked if the room was ready. This person seemed upset and angry that I was brotherly her. I asked when she thought the room would be ready, she said we’re not required to give you a room until official check in time. She didn’t answer my question about how long I would be waiting. She seemed to be the wrong person that would represent this hotel in a good customer service event. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet and was loose and not secure.

The resort was in a great location, near everything you’d want to do in Estes Park and RMNP. The room was big, clean, and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff was super friendly, and breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a good stay at Murphy’s. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything in working order. Liked that it had a ceiling fan and a spare fan in the closet. It seemed to a good value for the room. Perfect for a family vacation with kids. For being a continental breakfast it was better than I expected, good options. Easy parking. Close to the entrance of RMNP.

Excellent location, easy access to the beautiful Estes lake and close to the RMNP. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. We didn’t have time to enjoy the evening entertainment provided. It will be perfect if warm breakfast options are added. Will definitely stay again.

Very quiet. Great staff experience. The room we had was a bit dated but clean. New shower with Jetted tub was nice. Free popcorn and large movie selection. Only real critique would be the lack of eggs or protein for the breakfast. For those on a low carb lifestyle there were zero options available onsite. My wife and I are planning to return next year and would gladly stay here.

This is an amazing place so well situated, The staff were lovely. Plenty of lovely restaurants nearby and the views spectacular. Extra touches free coffee, hot chocolate and teas available, for the cold nights Videos, games and free popcorn. But who can forget Rodger the singing cowboy who brightened up our evening’s great entertainer and great voice. The other special touch a bottle of water and chocolate for your onward Journey. I would thoroughly recommend this lovely resort.

This is our go to hotel to stay at every year that we go to estes. We usually stay in the rooms closest to the pathway that walks right down to Estes lake where we love to go in the mornings. The free continental breakfast is minimal but its good especially if you are wanting to head straight into Rocky Mountain National park right away. The pool and huge indoor hot tub are also very nice when we have time for those. You cannot go wrong staying here because of all the amenities it offers plus its safe, quiet, tucked away from business, and cloae access to the lake and downtown estes.

room is dirty and smelly . bath tub has a big patch . Bed making noice . Able to hear sounds clearly from other rooms in the middle of the night . complimentary breakfast is horrible. very limited options and even the ones that r there were very cold . all those were just brought from frozen even bread , bagel , boiled egg too . nothing is fresh .For the price i paid , it’s completely unworthy.
