Arrived early and received warm reception. Staff arranged for room to be made up early while we waited at rooftop bar with superb view of Table Mountain. Facilities were well maintained & all staff were excellent and we would definitely return.lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance

Our room had stunning views of Table Mountain from the balcony and was very comfortable with quality furnishings and a large bathroom. The rooftop bar’s a highlight and the hotel’s in an ideal location for foodies with lots of really good restaurants within walking distance. The plunge pool and surrounding area is small for the size of the hotel. Overall though a very enjoyable stay.

The rooftop bar’s a highlight and the hotel’s in an ideal location for foodies with lots of really good restaurants within walking distance. I enjoyed the location (a bit off the regular tourist trail) and the ability to walk to some intersting nearby attractions. Even the V&A Waterfront was walkable, although a long walk! The Company's Gardens and surrounding museums and art galleries should not be missed. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, and I enjoyed the rooftop area (when it was not raining ... the consequence of going in rainy season). i even had a chance to enjoy the pool, despite it being winter. I also used the spa, which was reasonably priced and very good too.

What an amazing boutique hotel close to fine dining n table mountain. Our room number 1 was simply gorgeous and huge. We loved everything incl the location and chic n modern decor. The staff was excellent too. Try to use the main pool w hot tub. The sauna also looks inviting. The best small hotel in Cape Town ! You will be impressed.

Excellent stay in a good property. Staff were super helpful. Room large spacious and excellent shower. Only negative is that at a time of full bookings there is no car parking inside the gates, only on street nearby

The first 2 nights, the room I paid for wasn’t given to me —- I was told that the GM would contact me about getting the difference back and that still hasn’t happened. I eventually got the room I paid for and requested on the 3rd night, however I almost didn’t receive it because I was told an “influencer” was going to be there to take photos and such, which as an influencer as well I understand, however my reservations as well as unresponded to emails stated exactly what I needed weeks prior to my arrival. When we finally did get into the room, the shower was flooding, maintenance worked on it for two days and eventually it started working properly. However because of the dampness due to the flooding there were water bugs in the room, so we had to make sure our luggage was properly zipped and in the closet safely put away. On the second to last night the hot water stopped working …. The night manager was going to have us shower in a guest public bathroom two floors down and across the hotel, as a woman, that made me uncomfortable. But luckily the day time manager the following day found us another bathroom on our floor in a private room for us to shower and change comfortably. The best thing I can say about this place was that all the staff were truly amazing and by staff I mean the employees who work there and the managers on duty—> not including the General Manager who has yet to contact me.

Staff was really nice and the hotel is cute but the there was no hot water. I took cold showers all 4 days I stayed there, then went out in cold weather, caught a bad chest cold in the process.

Great location. Hotel kindly upgraded us for our honeymoon. Room was nice and had a small balcony with lovely view of table mountain. It’s an older hotel so felt a bit tired (sound proofing could be better and the water from the shower leaked all over the floor each time). Overall nice stay, we enjoyed the restaurants nearby!

Excellent location! Beautiful and clean facilities. Fantastic view from the roof top! Relaxing pool area. Great food all day. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and gave us so many great recommendations for places to see, how to get around, and where to eat, and they helped us with booking restaurants, tickets, day trips and everything else we needed. There were lots of fantastic restaurant in the area. The stay at Cloud 9 was just perfect! Would definitely come back.

Room was a good size, decor & soft furnishings attractive Bathroom pleasant but shower leaked out onto floor which meant bath mat not sufficient & towels needed to stem the leak Cleaners needed more attention to detail as on a couple of occasions had to ask for towels as had not been replaced -also water Reception staff excellent & very helpful Would I recommend-definitely

The first 2 nights, the room I paid for wasn’t given to me —- I was told that the GM would contact me about getting the difference back and that still hasn’t happened. I eventually got the room I paid for and requested on the 3rd night, however I almost didn’t receive it because I was told an “influencer” was going to be there to take photos and such, which as an influencer as well I understand, however my reservations as well as unresponded to emails stated exactly what I needed weeks prior to my arrival. When we finally did get into the room, the shower was flooding, maintenance worked on it for two days and eventually it started working properly. However because of the dampness due to the flooding there were water bugs in the room, so we had to make sure our luggage was properly zipped and in the closet safely put away. On the second to last night the hot water stopped working …. The night manager was going to have us shower in a guest public bathroom two floors down and across the hotel, as a woman, that made me uncomfortable. But luckily the day time manager the following day found us another bathroom on our floor in a private room for us to shower and change comfortably. The best thing I can say about this place was that all the staff were truly amazing and by staff I mean the employees who work there and the managers on duty—> not including the General Manager who has yet to contact me.

Great location. Near two excellent places for breakfast. Lobby of boutique hotel smelled fabulous. Staff wonderful. Polite. Helpful. Quick to make things right. The room was large. Close to courtyard and at times loud. Showers could be consistently hotter.

Our room had stunning views of Table Mountain from the balcony and was very comfortable with quality furnishings and a large bathroom. The rooftop bar’s a highlight and the hotel’s in an ideal location for foodies with lots of really good restaurants within walking distance. The plunge pool and surrounding area is small for the size of the hotel. Overall though a very enjoyable stay.

I enjoyed the location (a bit off the regular tourist trail) and the ability to walk to some intersting nearby attractions. Even the V&A Waterfront was walkable, although a long walk! The Company's Gardens and surrounding museums and art galleries should not be missed. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, and I enjoyed the rooftop area (when it was not raining ... the consequence of going in rainy season). i even had a chance to enjoy the pool, despite it being winter. I also used the spa, which was reasonably priced and very good too.

Homely, comfortable boutique hotel in the heart of Cape Town. Very interesting multilevel architecture. Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms feel like home. Clean. Bed comfortable. Hot water with a rainfall shower. Private time at dry sauna can be booked by reservation at the front desk. Location is good. Walkable to restaurants and places. This is a very well placed hotel, close enough to bars and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet. The most amazing roof top bar, views that will blow your mind! Comfortable, clean, lovely staff, my second visit and will not be the last.

What an amazing boutique hotel close to fine dining n table mountain. Our room number 1 was simply gorgeous and huge. We loved everything incl the location and chic n modern decor. The staff was excellent too. Try to use the main pool w hot tub. The sauna also looks inviting. The best small hotel in Cape Town ! You will be impressed.

My husband and I stayed here after a cruise for two nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, the bed was comfy, and there were quite a few dining choices around. They do have a restaurant on site and the food was very good. The view of table Mountain is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Excellent location! Beautiful and clean facilities. Fantastic view from the roof top! Relaxing pool area. Great food all day. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and gave us so many great recommendations for places to see, how to get around, and where to eat, and they helped us with booking restaurants, tickets, day trips and everything else we needed. There were lots of fantastic restaurant in the area. The stay at Cloud 9 was just perfect! Would definitely come back.

A really lovely hotel in a great location. Walkable to some wonderful bars and restaurants, friendly and helpful staff. The big letdown was the Spa, I booked the signature African beach treatment only to find that one of the beds wasn’t working (they gave us a load of nonsense that having one cold and one warm bed was usual), the toilet door didn’t lock and there was no toilet paper in the adjacent bathroom at the spa. Disappointed as it was one of the reasons that I booked the hotel! However, the fantastic breakfast and super staff manning it certainly helped make up for it.
