Loved the location as you’re in a quiet area close to Tokyo Dome and 3 subway stations. The hotel amenities were great with laundry, 2 restaurants, a fully stocked bathroom with free items, a tea/coffee lounge, free massage chairs, vending machines, a rooftop patio, among other things. The restaurants had great choices at fair prices and were very different from each other. The staff throughout our stay were very kind and I loved the location of our hotel room as it was tucked off in the corner, in a quiet spot. The hotel was kind enough to hold our luggage after we checked out until we were ready to go to the airport. I would definitely stay here again and thank you Hotel Niwa for upholding excellence.

Facilities and services were top notch. Love the amenities such as a workput room, lounge room, refresh room, and most of all the relaxation room. You get to see the skyline too at their rooftop terrace. Coffee and tea are served as well. In the morning, they'll have coffee at the lobby for free for all travelers. Room was quite nice. You'll get all the toiletries you need and you get your own mini coffee bar. Hotel is located at Chiyoda, very quiet neighborhood. Restaurants, izakayas, and convenience stores are walking distance. Train station is 10 min walk from the hotel, fairly close by. Also, limousine bus can be booked at Tokyo Dome hotel if need ride to NRT or Tokyo Air Terminal. You can also book it online , just ask front desk about it. Fair warning the room are quite small for luggages to fit in for two people but if I think if you reserve a bigger room then you'll get more space. Overall, I had a good experience staying here.

This was my second stay at Hotel Niwa Tokyo, and it was once again a wonderful experience. The hotel offers great amenities, including a gym, a relaxation room, two beautiful gardens, and a shared space where they serve their own house tea and coffee every afternoon. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk from Suidobashi Station and a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Dome. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it a convenient and accessible place to stay. The hotel staff is fantastic—extremely helpful with check-in and check-out, and they even offer luggage forwarding services to your next destination. There's also a restaurant on the lobby floor, adding to the overall convenience. The room service is excellent, everything is clean and quiet, and I truly enjoyed my stay once again.

This place was wonderful. It's in a great location close to a train station, and the grounds are beautiful. The room was immaculate, and they provided a lot of extras in the room like phone chargers. They also have massage chairs on one of the floors, and if you need laundry done, they have a laundry room for self-service as well as the option to pay for the hotel to do your laundry. The breakfast was a great variety and very fresh, and the service was exceptional. When we come back, we plan to stay here again.

Overall a great property, peaceful and away from the busy touristy area, but still walkable on metro to get to major areas. Amenities in hotel such as the massage chair and self-serve coin laundry is a nice bonus and not to be overlooked.

This fantastic hotel provides exceptional service and a friendly staff. The full buffet breakfast is an excellent way to begin your day. We also particularly enjoyed the tea time and the tranquil outside areas on the terrace and the third floor. Additionally, there is a currency exchange machine and laundry machines are available.

Great service, excellent breakfast. Tea time and massage chairs on 3rd floor are a treat. The gym is also good (LifeFitness treadmill, elliptical and bike, although the space is small —no weights— it is pleasant and machines are new). Washer/dryer also convenient. All this makes up for small rooms.

Hotel location was excellent and got us to all the places in our itinerary within about 15 to 20 minutes. Double bed was a great size for two average Caucasian people. Bed was fairly firm and firm/soft pillows provided. Reception greeted us every time we left and entered the hotel and made it feel homey. Reception also arranged taxi and bag shipping service which worked out excellent for us and made our travels much much easier. Soap and shampoo in the room was amazing. Towels and linens were very soft and nice.

Overall it was very nice! It met our needs, e.g., quiet location, proximity to train station, cleanliness, welcoming staff, etc., The minor improvement / consideration items: 1) plumbing / sewage odor - there was a very slight odor in the bathroom when the door was first opened. It dissipates, then when the door is closed it accumulates again but it didn’t make its way into the sleeping area so I didn’t make an issue of it with the front desk. 2) location - since I’m familiar with Tokyo getting to / from / around the hotel may be inconvenient for those who aren’t familiar with the train system. For the cost of the stay, there are other very good Tokyo hotels which are better for commuting. It’s a trade off of what you want, e.g., commuting convenience or quiet. 3) amenities - very eco friendly but for the cost of the stay, the quality of some of some of the products can be improved, e.g., the razor, etc.,

I was very disappointed this time as I had really liked this hotel. I could still accept that the bathroom floor had some trash and there was an unpleasant smell, but I was shocked to find black slimy residue at the bottom of the bathtub. I tried to clean it myself before using it, but it wouldn’t come off. It felt unhygienic, so I couldn’t use the bath. I was also concerned that it might look as if I had caused this, so I informed the staff at checkout, hoping they would clean it properly for the next guest. Although they apologized, they didn’t seem interested in hearing the details, which made me worry whether they would actually check the cleaning properly. Since cleanliness is the most important thing I look for in a hotel, I am hesitant to stay here again.

Zimmer waren mässig. Die erste Nacht war schlecht. Klimaanlage machte solch einen Lärm, sodass wir sie immer wieder abschalten mussten. Bettkissen kann man nicht als solche beziffern. Um ca. 05.00h begannen die Bahnzüge zu fahren. Obwohl wir sehr weit oben waren, war an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken. Nach Upgrade war zweites Zimmer wenigstens von der Grösse her besser. Klimaanlage war das selbe. Sauberkeit mässig. Relaxroom, freundliches Personal und Frühstück waren die guten Highlight seitens Hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. All amenities. We stayed in largish twin rooms next to each other. Only minor point is there was no connecting door. Also our room didn’t have a great view. Hotel beds are comfortable. Water is complementary and have coffee maker. All in all a good stay and great value too.

Great hotel at a reasonable price. The room was very cozy (love the paper shades on the window) and comfortable. The gym was decently sized by Tokyo standards. The restaurant (Dining Lieu) was good. The staff very friendly. The only issue we ran into was the WiFi was very flaky. However, they did have Ethernet in the room and even provided a cable (super nice!) so we were able to use our computers to provide a mobile hotspot for our other devices.

If you plan on working, you'll have to use your phone as a hotspot because the Wi-Fi is terrible. It's very intermittent at best. I had to have someone from the front desk come to my room to show them that my TV did not have a closer access point nor password referenced. When she arrived she told me to try the TVs Chromecast link. I did but it too was spotty. Don't get me wrong. The hotel staff are very kind and gracious but not having good Wi-Fi at a supposedly business oriented hotel is not a good combination. The property itself is also lovely and a welcome respite from the chaos that is Tokyo.

Se nos olvidó una bolsa con dinero en efectivo en la caja fuerte de la habitación y nosotrls nos dimos cuenta hasta que estabamos en el aeropuerto, cuando nos percatamos el hotel ya nos habia enviado un mensaje avisando el olvido y se ofrecian a entregarnos la bolsa en algún punto de encuentro y asi fué. Un representante del hotel fué personalmente casi volando literalmente a dejarnos la bolsa justo antes de que nuestro vuelo saliera. Fue realmente admirable su acto de honestidad y servicio ademas sin costo (solo pagamos el transporte del representante). Estamos muy agradecidos.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very nice and super clean, we slept comfortably here. All staff at the front desk spoke great English. We needed assistance making international calls for an insurance claim, and Takumi was very helpful in assisting us to make sure we were taken care of — this was greatly appreciated. The location was great to get to Tokyo Dome to watch a baseball game. We will stay here again when we return to Tokyo.

We really enjoyed our three day stay at this property. Our room on the 12th floor had a very large window and an outstanding view! All the staff were professional and efficient. One member of their staff, her name is Shara, stools out especially. We had a problem signing on the internet. She quickly solved our problem and was especially kind. Thanks to Shara and the entire team. We will stay here again the next time we visit Tokyo.

Location is very convenient to visit a variety of popular Tokyo neighborhoods, both by walking and via the nearby metro station. The neighborhood the hotel is located in is clean, quiet, and feels safe. It is nestled within Nihon University. There are also two Family Marts close by for late night snacks, drinks, and quick meals.

Great hotel! It definitely is not in the heart of Tokyo with the main train station, but this hotel was a quick 5 minute walk to the train station, and we would just transfer to the main ones. I loved that it was tucked away and not super busy in our area. Mcdonalds was right by the station which helped for breakfast, as most breakfast or food didn't open until 11. The hotel was great to come back to mid day and at night. They restocked the fridge with 2 cold water bottles each day, and if you needed more, the front desk was so nice to offer more. Room service was done daily, and they provided large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razors, hair brush, hair ties, etc. Definitely a perfect place to stay if you do not want to be right in the hustle and bustle. The rooms were also the perfect size for us! They had a closet we kept our suitcases in, while we still had space on both sides of our bed and a desk to sit at. The massage chairs were also nice to use at the end of a long day. We had no issues getting a chair when we wanted to go. I seriously loved this place!

Love the detox juice and fresh made tofu. The beat fresh fruit choices in all the hotels we've stayed at on the trip. The wifi is slow unless you specifically ask for a device to connect to LAN.

Staff are accommodating but realistic with timelines and honest with the request of clients. Even if we disagree , we can find a solution. :) they are also Genuine hearted - no fake smiles. Which is great. Builds my trust. Food is great. But wish I could have more ala carte to make my own salad without the buffet option to allow for my food restrictions and to try more Japanese food without gluten (gluten free soy sauce is made at T’s Kitchen nearby ). This is 4 star hotel. But is better than my stay at Tokyo Chinzanso. So I came back to Niwa. ! Hope to see them again.
