Great place to stay and great location ! Right by the old port. Good size furnished kitchen-corner separate from the main living area, ideal for longer stays. Friendly staff. Secure access to the building through key cards. Just remember that being close to the old port also means more noise.

This was a very disappointing place to stay. Traffic noise was dreadful. Half the time the elevator didn’t work. The wifi was not working at all during our stay. The gentleman on the front desk was very apologetic. The room was spacious. We liked the small kitchen facility. Position was central but would not go back.

Good location BUT elevators don’t working I carried my 20 kgs luggae to 4 th floor. There is no water in hotel and room. Bath is very old, showerhead was screaming :) hotel needs to renovaiton ASAP!

Great location, clean and basics…to my humble opinion, it’s more an apartment than hotel. Please be aware that there is a limited reception support. You will receive communications from hotel in French and so if you don’t speak French, please use the AI translation to follow instructions to get inside if you arrive late night… could be confusing at first… otherwise it’s fine.

I recently stayed at Residhotel and was very disappointed with the experience due to the staff’s unhelpfulness and dishonesty. The room was clean and well-maintained, which was a positive. However, the staff’s attitude was problematic. The fridge in our room wasn’t working, and despite notifying the front desk, no technician arrived. One receptionist said she would check the issue but then went on break and never returned. The situation worsened at checkout. The baggage storage room, just a few meters from the desk, was accessible with keys given to me by the receptionist so I could retrieve something from our bag. It was the receptionist’s responsibility to open the storage room, yet I was not supervised, and this lack of security meant I could have easily accessed other guests' luggage. During our final visit to collect all our bags, the same receptionist rolled her eyes at me when I simply asked to retrieve our luggage, which added to the frustration. Despite the clean room, the poor service and the staff's lack of professionalism overshadowed the stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to those who value honesty and respect.

I rang before to ask if l could arrive early and leave my bags and was told l could. But on arrival the female receptionist told me that there was a problem in the baggage room and that l could not, under any circumstance, leave them at the hotel. l had to leave them in a public baggage hold across the street which l was charged for each hour. Then l had to rush back to get my bag on time and then check in. When l checked in l was told by the male receptionist that there was nothing wrong in the baggage room and that l was pretty much lied to. It ruined my whole day. The room was good but there only a light, transparent curtain in the bathroom so the neighbours can see in. I was very uncomfortable with that and so l didn't turn on the light in the evening which was difficult. In the morning when l mentioned it, the receptionist told me that there was a special film on the window so people could not see in. If this is true it is not obvious. Also after the baggage debacle l am not sure that l believed her. All up a nice and convenient place to stay but l'm not sure if l would recommend it.

Çok merkezi ancak eski. Sürekli bakım yapılıyor. Bu yüzden öğle saatlerine doğru gürültü olabiliyor. Girişteki merdivenlerin mini asansörü çalışmıyordu. Bu yüzden bebek arabası ile zorlandık. Katlarda ve odanın içinde de merdivenler olması bizi ayrıca zorladı. Çalışanlar çok yardımcı oldu ve genelde güler yüzlüler. Genel olarak beklentimi karşıladı. Sıcak oda, geniş yatak, mini mutfak, bebek yatağı, merkezi konum. Kahve makinesinde kapsül ücretli idi. Birer adet ikram kahve kapsülü hoş olabilirdi.

Didnt even feel like a cleaner had been in the room. Heavy black mould in the shower. Half a toilet roll. No cooking utensils other than a saucepan and fry pan. Towels and sheets both had stains on them. Room was noise with no view. Couod hear other rooms and everything outside. One of the wall plugs was falling out of the wall. The only good thing about this olace was the proximity to the water front. Spend a little extra and avoid the place. In our 2 month trip around europe this would be the worst place we have stayed.

J’ai eu l’occasion de retrouver des poiles dans mes draps le premier soir. J’en ai informé la réception qui m’a donc donné des nouveaux draps troués… le réceptionniste m’a ensuite assuré que les draps seraient changés le lendemain matin… ce qui n’a pas été fait. Pas de bouchon pour prendre un bain, le frigo ne fonctionnait pas

En revanche, et cela n'est pas très acceptable : -Absence de rideaux de douche -Absence de bouilloire / machine à café -Certaines prises électriques défectueuses (ne marche pas) -Absence de brosse les toilettes (😳) -Présence d'un préservatif (non utilisé, heureusement) sous notre lit (😳😳) Le lit deux places classique mais un peu petit. Good location but hotel is very dirty… I spend most of the day going out but come back to hotel at night is not an enjoyable moment. Although the hotel staffs are nice but I would never stay again and I would never recommend to any family with kids to stay here.

Very bad condition of the room. The sink was clogged, the closet doors were broken and could not open, there were broken tiles on the floor and many of the closets in the kitchen could not open or close. The view was just out to another building and the windows were so dirty. The staff were very sweet and helpful.

We stayed for 2 nights to watch the Olympic football between Spain and Morocco. It was a good base for the trip and the kitchenette was very useful. The block is in a quite urban location but it is well placed for the Mucem and the Port generally. The property had a terrace but only a view of adjoining properties. The room was decent but could do with a good dust.

Perfect location, helpful staff, the only thing was, that in the room was noise from the street. Windows are not insulated. You can hear almost every word from the people on the street. I thought we had open window. But it was closed.

This hotel is located one block from Vieux Port - an excellent location! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There was a kitchenette with a microwave and small range top. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was nice. Nothing fancy, but overall very good service and basic, good accommodations.

The location was awesome! A 1-2 minute walk to Vieux Port! We had a little kitchenette, which was nice. Comfortable beds, decent shower. No frills, but no complaints! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Noise from within the hotel was almost imperceptible but insulation from street noise could be better. The location suited me very well. As a 1st time visitor to Marseille, access to museums, the quayside at Vieux Port but as a city centre location there is a price to be paid in traffic noise and the street outside is something of a bottle neck. Local drivers hang on the horn a lot, even late into the night. Distant sirens don't disturb me but even on the fifth floor the traffic seemed to be right outside the window. I'm a good sleeper but I could imagine this being a problem for some.

Idéalement situé. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Chambre très propre. Le personnel est très accueillant et mention spéciale pour Olivier qui est tellement gentil, disponible et très a l’écoute du client. Seul bémol, chambre très très bruyante sur la rue Coutellerie, au premier étage.

Das Personal konnte kein Wort Englisch. Furchtbar - und das in einer Stadt wie Marseille. Die Damen an der Rezeption haben immer nur gekichert wenn wir mit denen Englisch gesprochen haben. Die 100€ Kaution konnte uns auch keiner erklären, mussten wir uns per Google Übersetzer übersetzen lassen… Das Zimmer war nur für 2 Personen hergerichtet. Wir waren aber zu 4. Dementsprechend mussten wir das Bett für die Kinder selber beziehen und fertig machen. Bei dem Preis für eine Nacht erwarte ich das das Zimmer bezugsfertig ist! Die Sauberkeit hat auch zu wünschen übrig gelassen und über den Zustand des Zimmers brauchen wir nicht reden… Am Abreisetag lag eine Riesen Pfütze Wasser im Flur. Man konnte sich nicht erklären woher die kam. Es hat keiner - an dem Morgen geduscht…und von oben hat auch nichts getropft. Nachts war es sehr sehr laut. Also die Fenster haben schon einiges an Lautstärke zurückgehalten, aber trotzdem hat man die Nacht kein Auge zubekommen. Ein Hinweis das es so laut in der Straße ist wäre hilfreich gewesen. Alles in allem ein schlechter Aufenthalt.

I recently stayed at Residhotel and was very disappointed with the experience due to the staff’s unhelpfulness and dishonesty. The room was clean and well-maintained, which was a positive. However, the staff’s attitude was problematic. The fridge in our room wasn’t working, and despite notifying the front desk, no technician arrived. One receptionist said she would check the issue but then went on break and never returned. The situation worsened at checkout. The baggage storage room, just a few meters from the desk, was accessible with keys given to me by the receptionist so I could retrieve something from our bag. It was the receptionist’s responsibility to open the storage room, yet I was not supervised, and this lack of security meant I could have easily accessed other guests' luggage. During our final visit to collect all our bags, the same receptionist rolled her eyes at me when I simply asked to retrieve our luggage, which added to the frustration. Despite the clean room, the poor service and the staff's lack of professionalism overshadowed the stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to those who value honesty and respect.

Sehr gut gelegen und hervorragender Service. Aufgrund von Zugverspätungen mussten wir außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten anreisen, was kein Problem war, da das Hotel uns den Türcode über Expedia geschickt hat. Auch die Taschenaufbewahrung nach dem Auschecken war kein Problem.

Bien situé, qq couacs à signaler …. Revoir la poussière à la sortie des Vmc, à croire que les femmes de ménage ne lèvent pas la tête …. J’ai été obligé de les appeler pour récupérer mon dépôt de garantie car oublié… ou pas . Notre chambre a été attribué 2 fois pour la même soirée, nous avons donc vu débarquer 3 personnes dans notre chambre . Pas grave en soi mais surprenant. Problème réglé dans la foulée. Pour une seule nuit !!!

Had a lovely 2 night stay in this hotel in Marseille. Location is fantastic as it's very near to the old town and harbour. It was our honeymoon so we were upgraded to a small apartment with a large balcony - thanks so much for this! Staff were friendly and it had everything we needed. Would definitely return if we were to visit again. Didn't have breakfast as we prefer to get up when we want and there are plenty of patisseries and options nearby!

The location was awesome! A 1-2 minute walk to Vieux Port! We had a little kitchenette, which was nice. Comfortable beds, decent shower. No frills, but no complaints! The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very well positioned, just one street back from Vieux Port, but without the bustle. Just about every place of interest (including the station) is within walking distance through fascinating and varied streets; smart ones with high-end shops; residential ones close by with high, shuttered windows and yet more with people and cuisines from all around the Mediterranean. The staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms clean and spacious and I heard no noise from other residents. I'd recommend staying there.

Good location, central but set back 1 street from the old port. Very easy access to the metro, tramway, and buses. Room was nice, had a fridge, microwave and cooker if you wanted to use them. AC didnt appear to be working however, and the bathroom was a bit dated. The hotel was undergoing renovations specifically for the bathrooms at the time though, so they may be refreshed in future. Would stay again.

Check in is at 3pm and check out at 11 am....4 hours of wasted time abd in 3 days no one did our room. Breakfast....forget EVER paying for breakfast....tables not done and the dining room is small Half of things were missing by 9am...no ham, no alternative for muslims ether. Even bread was scarce. Room found tidy abd to basic requirements

Excellent location close to vieux port with lots of dining options in the area. It is very difficult to communicate in English with hotel staff. Breakfast was very basic and some times you need to ask for some items to be topped up (if they have them) Towels and room not automatically changed and cleaned, and is done upon request only at a cost

This hotel is in an excellent location to visit the old town and port and all tourist activities. With great restaurants in walking distance. We had room 41 and the view was spectacular. The rooms are large and have everything you need and the breakfast is good value for money. The only problem is the noise ( from the sirens) but the location and view definitely outweigh the noise - so just take ear plugs if you have issues sleeping . Highly recommend
