Grupotel Gran Via 678

We stayed only one night at this hotel. It was just adequate for our needs. The room was very small considering the amount we paid. Floors, bathroom and bed were clean. There was just enough room to walk around the bed to get to the bathroom. There was no full length mirror, only one above sink in bathroom. Breakfast was not included in the price, but the restaurant looked nice. Pool and sun bathing area were very small and disappointing. Would not stay again.

The hotel was nice and in a nice area of the city. The pool area was disappointing. The photo posted on its listing is the entire area…so the photo is misleading. If you like to spend an hour or so unwinding poolside after sightseeing…I recommend you choose a different hotel.

Clean and convenient to all the things to do in Barcelona. The pool was not at all what I expected and didn’t match my he pictures.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Glass of champagne on arrival which was a nice touch. Room was fine but basic means no view just looking out on an internal block. Pool was fine but not like the photos - very small and with basic beds but with towels. All in all a good experience but expensive for what you get.

The hotel and staff are amazing and is in a great location to get to most attractions. The metro stations are really close. Only negative is the pool is only 7m x 2m. So photo is misleading. Did not affect our stay.

Got free upgrade which was nice, though had twin beds and hotel was full, so could have been better on that sense. Also visited same place year ago and the same elevator wasn't working, meaning apparently not in a rush with fixing those. Breakfast can't recommend as friend of mine found a massive hair on his bread roll. So didn't eat there afterwards as that was disgusting

Insgesamt war ich nicht ganz zufrieden. Positiv war das bequeme bett, und es war sauber. Insgesamt aber sehr in die jahre gekommen. Renovierungsbedürftig. Sehr kleines Zimmer (hatte das Einzelzimmer gebucht). Frühstück war ok.

très bien pour visiter Barcelone, le personnel a été très attentif. Pour la chambre la salle de bain n'était pas très propre et le lit n'est pas visé au mur ce qui est un peu désagréable quand on est accoté au mur. Sinon c'était bien, je le recommande quand même

Pretty run down hotel - almost every item in the room was broken or damaged. In the bathroom mirrors and faucets were broken. The entire hotel smelled very weird. We paid more than 450 EUR per night - which was way too expensive for the quality of the facilities. Staff was friendly and nice.

The room was clean and location was excellent! The front desk service was very good — friendly staff and good responses:) the only negative thing I would say is that some of the things in the room were loose like toilet paper holder and there was a dead spider in the room but overall was a good hotel

Hotel ist teilweise stark renovierungsbedürftig. Türen von Schränken sehr schwer zu schließen und öffnen, Badezimmertür ebenfalls. Duschkopf kaputt, Klospülung läuft ständig

Pros: Conveniently located in a more quiet neighborhood, away from the crowds. The free breakfast was very good, lots of options. Cons: Room is small and dated. Green fire alarm light on the ceiling kept blinking, which was annoying when you turned off the lights to go to bed.

Great hotel and easily accessible to see all of Barcelonas attractions. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. We were upgraded to a room with a large terrace which was great. Would definitely here again.

Loved this hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean rooms, great neighbourhood, such a wonderful stay for an excellent price. We will be back!

Great location! Room was fine although we couldn’t get our room temperature to go lower than 25 degrees in a heatwave! Lots of sweating !

酒店雖是4星酒店，房間比較其他西班牙城市4星酒店來說有點細，房內有張小書桌，浴室的淋浴間太細了，而且花灑水壓不足。酒店最出色是早餐部份，選擇在歐洲酒店來說已很豐富，而且每天都有點點變化的。酒店位置在Gran Via 大街，走路去 Pl Catalunya 約10分鐘。不過酒店附近沒有很多餐廳，這點就不太方便了。員工服務態度是不錯的，熱心提供協助！

the rooms were very small and there was a 50cm space between restroom and the bed. also check in time is 15.00 it is too late to change the clothes, get a shower and run ahead of the day.

Booked a small double but really it was a single room.Single wardrobe with 5 hangers.Three quarter bed(which was comfortable)Desk with one chair.Window looked out on to other rooms.Nice bathroom,very clean,friendly staff.Not 4 star standard

Die Lage war sehr gut. Das Zimmer groß und geräumig. Die Terrasse war sehr groß und man hatte einen tollen Blick auf bspw. die Sagrada Familia.

Séjour agréable. Hôtel très bien situé. Chambre calme. Seul hic impossible de régler la climatisation, nous avions 25°.

Had the most amazing check in after a stressful morning. Staff were super!!! But! The rooms are not in the slightest bit soundproof. You can hear everything and I felt like I was sleeping in a bathroom! It was horrendous. You could hear nextdoor people chatting plain as day. I could tell you what they had for dinner. The pool was tiny but a lovely area.

Great hotel with excellent service! Offered a welcome cava bubbly and staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions.

Our stay at this property was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks largely to the exceptional staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Marien and Victor. The rest of the reception staff, led by Sabrina, set the tone for our visit professionally and attentively. They seamlessly handled our check-in process since we had 2 separate bookings and had to extend our stay for 2 more nights; they also provided valuable local insights that enriched our stay. Throughout our time here, every encounter with the staff was marked by genuine warmth and a sincere desire to make our experience memorable. The housekeeping team deserves special commendation for their meticulous attention to detail. Our room was immaculately clean each day making it a true sanctuary after exploring the city. While the room is basic, it is functional & most importantly, clean. At the restaurant, the gentleman who assisted us each morning at breakfast greeted us warmly and because we were there for a 9 days, came to know our usual orders. Kent at the bar was always smiling and ready for a jovial good night as we retired for the day. In conclusion, our stay at Grupotel Gran Via 678 was made unforgettable not only by its comfortable accommodations but most importantly by the extraordinary staff who exemplify hospitality at its finest. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Barcelona.

Breakfast was very good and fresh, basically a continental breakfast. The hotel was wonderful. The staff was amazing, professional, helpful, and efficient. Rome were nice and the location was perfect. Walking distance to most everything we needed. Good food nearby everywhere you looked and taxis and transportation options were readily available. We would definitely stay here again

Excellent service by all staff

I stayed at Gran Via 678 with my daughter for her 18th birthday and it was excellent! From out initial arrival to our check out, all the staff were friendly and so helpful. We were offered chilled water and cava on arrival, taxis were ordered, tourist advice given and they even arranged for a bottle of chilled Cava to be delivered to our room on my daughter's birthday. The hotel has a cool and arty atmosphere and is situated within easy walking distance of excellent shops, the Ramblas, Sagrada Familia. However, the area was quiet, with traditional and elegant balconied buildings. There is an array of cafés, restaurants and bars nearby. Thank you Gran Via for a fabulous weekend!

Very helpful staff. Centrally located. Clean and safe neighborhood with many street Cafe and restaurant very close. I had difficulty with my phone charger and their maintenance man brought me a loaner charger and adaptor without my asking and gave for my use during our stay.

Excellent location and very good breakfast for that price in the capital of Spain.

Great location. Close access to the metro. Not right in the heart of the busy tourist areas but accessible via walking or metro. We booked the family suite which was 2 connecting rooms, which was perfect for our family.

Staff extremely responsive to questions and needs, and most of all... helpful and friendly. Arrived following cruise at 09:30 and there was a room available. Breakfast buffet with a zillion choices! Location is great on a beautiful boulevard, you can walk everywhere or take nearby public transportation. We'll definitely choose this hotel again. The rooms looked like the photos online, a rarity these days.

Location was very good. 10 minute walk to la ramblas. Hotel very clean and staff very friendly. Ideal location for exploring Barcelona We had a room overlooking the main road but could hear nothing.

Location was great 10 minute walk to Playa Catalunya. Nice hotel with friendly welcoming staff. The pool is very small but a nice suntrap. Rooms are comfortable with good showers and bathroom. Breakfast was disappointing, the hot food was cold and not fresh, juices not chilled.

Très bel hôtel, emplacement idéal pour visiter tout en métro, à pieds et en vélo réservable à l'hôtel. Accueil très agréable et très professionnel.
