Club Wyndham Sea Pearl Phuket

Spa was closed during our stay. We had ants and roaches in the room. We didn’t have WiFi for a day of the trip. There was only one restaurant open. Also my second day there, they sent a bill to my room of all my charges. The next day I came back to go into my room and my key was not working. I went to the hotel lobby and they explained that I haven’t payed my bill. I explained to them that I am here for another couple nights. They refused and told me to handle the bill now. Very low class property

Throughout my entire week, I encountered only a handful of other guests, leaving the hotel feeling eerily empty, quiet, and devoid of energy. The location was particularly inconvenient. Situated high in the hills, it’s isolated with no footpaths nearby, making walking to places like Bangla Road — as some reviews suggested — impossible. In reality, you will need to arrange transport for every trip, and the drive is much longer than advertised, especially with traffic. The property itself is large and confusing to navigate, with no elevators, countless stairs, and winding pathways. At times, it felt more like wandering through a deserted complex than staying at a resort. The breakfast offering was disappointing. Despite being promoted as a buffet, it consisted of a limited selection: a few pastries, some eggs, and a small amount of fruit. Hot dishes often appeared cold and unappetizing, and the dining area was consistently empty, adding to the sense of isolation. As for the pools, they were also empty — and while that might initially seem appealing, the visible broken floorboards around the area raised serious safety concerns. Overall, I would recommend researching other options if you’re seeking a more comfortable and enjoyable stay.

お部屋が広くて静かで過ごしやすい。 パトンビーチまでは送迎があるが300バーツかかる。空港送迎あって便利だが お迎えの連絡したのに居なかった… 着く時間もだいぶ遅れてしまったから仕方ないかな、、 綺麗だし、パトンビーチまでも近いし立地良き。 プールも良かった！ 何よりお部屋が凄く広い！！

Upon arrival hotel looks decent and staff was pleasant. As I walked towards my room some parts of hotel look abandoned and unkempt. Particularly areas that may have been used for dining. Pools were dirty. I was expecting a small pool outside of room but it ended up being a non working hot tub which was never fixed. Other rooms have an actual tub outside their room. Room was fine but You are only provided with one room key.

Alle 2-3 Tage neue Wifi zugangsdaten fand ich sehr nervig. Ungeziefer im Zimmer und Bad ar nicht so schön. Bei unserem Whirpool kamen Kieselsteine mit raus so das diese sich auf der Bank und am Beckenboden ansammelten. Whirlpooldüsen funktionierten dann irgendwann nicht mehr, der Fehler wurde bis zur Abreise nicht behoben. Positiv zu erwähnen ist der direkte Poolzugang. Dieser wurde fast Täglich gereinigt. Das Personal ist Freundlich und Hilfsbereit, vom Empfang über den Taxifahrer so die Reinigungskraft. Es wurde versucht schnellst möglich zu Helfen. Wer kein Mietwagen oder Roller ausleiht muss mit Täglichen Taxi Kosten rechnen. Bis nach Patong 200-250 baht, je nach Verhandlung. Bis nach Phuket Town ca. 400. Alles in allem weiss ich nicht ob ich noch einmal dort Reservieren würde...50/50.

OVERALL HORRIBLE!!! I’ve traveled to over 40 countries and this has been by far the worst resort I’ve ever been at. I stayed here for 7 night. The first night was in a deluxe room and the other 6 nights was in a suite. The deluxe room was filthy. The pillows were wet, sheets had stains, shower had mold, and the hot tub had dirt and rust. I called the front desk over 10 times to have someone come look at the room but i got no answer. Only when i went ti the front desks did they send someone to look at the room. When they came up to my room i pointed everything out and the guy said ok and never came back to my room. Because of the inconvenience the front desk gave me a late checkout time but one if the cleaning ladies knocked on my door twice to tell me i had to leave. She went as far as sticking her foot in the door so i couldn’t close it and slapped my hand down. There’s no management on the grounds so i had to make a complaint with the front desk only for them not to do anything at all. I wasn’t accommodated in any way. They gave me a number to reach out to one of the managers but they never responded to my messages. The property is very dated and run down. The wood by the pools are chipped and cracked to the point i almost got a splinter from walking on it. Very poor experience overall. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately there is no shuttle to the beach. We were aware the Patong beach was a good distance from the resort, but there are no sidewalks to get there. Just a steady stream of scooters and mass traffic. Simply put, attempting to walk there is taking your life in your hands. Expect to budget $40-$50 Cdn for transportation to and from hotel to beach area per day. The WiFi is akin to dial up modems of 20 years ago. Couldn’t stream Prime music, let alone videos. It constantly had to be reconnected. Extremely frustrating to say the least. Want entertainment? Good luck. You get BBC and one English Channel on the TV. The reception is slightly better than “rabbit ears antennas” from the 60’s. The picture was completely snowy and migraine inducing. Want fresh brewed coffee? Wishful thinking. Instant freeze dried is on the menu. Like to dry your hands at the kitchen sink? Sorry, there is an apparent shortage of dish clothes and paper towel at the “resort”. Care to wash your face in the bathroom? Bring your own face clothes.You seriously get two bath towels. That’s it. No hand or face towels. Care to walk in bare feet? Better have leather skin.The decking has to be original and nails were popping up in places and the planks are warping. Want a glass of wine on the bar deck? 400baht plus tax and service charge buys you an under poured mediocre red in a dirty glass. Simply put, think twice. Staff was great.Tried to make us happy. Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort står i dag som en ældre skygge af hvad det engang var. Generelt fremstår hotellet slidt og smånusset og hvor rengøringen på flere punkter ikke kommer helt ind i krogene eller springer over. De mange fællesarealer står aflukkede og støvet hen, ligesom den imponerende bilpark af ældre dato vidner om en tid med shufflebusser og hotellets egne taxamuligheder, som nu ikke har kørt i flere år. Wyndham ligger elendigt placeret ved en meget trafikeret hovedvej, som larmer og oser i alle døgnets timer. Der er ringe muligheder for at komme fra hotellet på gåben, så taxa flere gange om dagen er nødvendigt. Morgenmaden er rimelig, men i løbet af vores 7 dages ophold, var der intet nyt i buffeten. Kaffe og tilberedte æg i flere varianter, skal man spørge efter hos det travle personale, men det ikke er tydeligt hvad der kan produceres i køkkenet og hvad man derfor kan spørge efter. Da vi trætte og ramt af jetlag tjekkede ind på hotellet, blev vi i ventetiden tilbudt at deltage i en rundvisning på et andet Wyndham hotel og høre om deres kundeklub og som tak for vores tid, fik vi en gratis selvvalgt tur - i vores tilfælde til Phi Phi Island. Dog var kundeklubben en smule mere omfattende end som så og omhandlede en investering på 180.000kr. Det blev tilsidst lidt ubehageligt at vi ikke ville investere i deres kundeklub, men de lod os til sidst gå. Wyndham er billigt og slidt. Men poolen er ren og fungerede som forventet i den skønne varme.

This resort looks like it was nice at one point in time but has not been kept up. Things are dirty and not working. They tried putting us in a room that smelled so bad of cigarettes it made my eyes water. The hot tubs were brown. Pubic hair and other hair in my sheets and in the tub. Very dirty inside the room. It is located up the hill from the beach with traffic and no sidewalks so you must take a taxi down. Bed was very very hard. Only an antenna for tv so only local Thai channels that are very fuzzy. No nextflix option. We stayed in Thailand for 1 month, this was the worst hotel we stayed at.

Initially the property seems nice and clean, rooms are clean to be honest, nothing wrong about it, but maintenence and cleanliness of the ponds (little pools) by the rooms is very bad...water dirty and a bit smelling... no shuttke to the beacj as advertised and after A/C pipe broke and leak at night, I found myself on the floor when walked to the coffee area... phone lines didn't work, couldn't ask for help, had to walk down to the front desk...no manager on site for over two months as i was told...personnel is unprofessional, they can't help in any way...very limited English-speaking knowledge...real bad experience.

This is literally the one of the worst properties I’ve ever stayed at my life. I did a 10 day trip in Thailand and this was the last hotel we were supposed to stay at and it was completely trifling. There was black mode all over the bathroom the bathtub had mold in it. There was stains all over the bathroom in the kitchen in the living room area. There was rust in the kitchen. There was rust in the bedroom. There was rust on the chairs on the countertops The flowers they had in my room were moldy and dying and wilted. The drawers have molded in it. The glass was completely dirty with fingerprints. The showerhead had rust and dirt and mildew all over the top and bottom. The hotel had no hot water. The slippers were used dirty. And be up look like they just got them out of a thrift store the towels stunk like mildew and the staff was completely unhelpful. One of the ladies told me that just because the bathroom is dirty doesn’t mean the bathroom is dirty that I shouldn’t have any problem going to sleep? They refuse to move my room or give me a refund when I did not want to stay in unsafe unsanitary room that they provided me I have some health problems and the fact that they have black mold in the bathroom is completely outrageous. When I complain about it they all just laughed in my face and did nothing about it. They told me I had to sleep there until the morning time in order for me to get anything done

Cockaroaches in room. After staff killed cockaroaches they did not clean. Shower was never cleaned. Bedsheets were never changed and they were dirty. Requests from staff would take hours. I called to have garbage removed so no more bugs would come in... the staff came after 16 hours. Room service is supposed to be 24 hours however after midnight no one picks up the phone.

The property is dated and tired. Cleaning standards are lacking throughout. Overall this property was underwhelming.

Horrible, do not stay here, place is practically falling apart, photos are extremely old and do not reflect the state of the property. It’s also pretty dirty, old bed outside our rooms, rubbish everywhere, I don’t know what happened here, but it is almost abandoned. Checked in and left after an hour. Staff refused to give refund as did Expedia, so don’t expect any assistance from any of them…

Ample and comfortable room. After reporting that the Internet and phone line were not functioning in my room the problems were never fixed. Customer service at the front desk is mostly dysfunctional.

Great location, slightly secluded, which is nice. Beautiful grounds. Room was nice, even if a little dated. Linen old, well used and had stains from somewhere. Internal phone network poor to say the least, mostly static. TV network available wasn't as stated. Plenty of ambient noise and light makes its way into the room during the night and the spa was in desperate need of a good clean. Hotel staff very helpful, cleaning staff lovely and accomodating. Restaurant staff Incompetent, rude, always on their phones. Good luck with ordering room service. Could be a 90 min wait or nothing arrives at all. Impact from recent years is evident, hotel information, events and facilities available can be misleading.

Room was very nice. Big & clean. The staff ability to communicate was lacking Taxis are difficulty to get. You must order one in advance.

Our room was very comfortable and large. Spa was not usable due needing repair. A lovely resort but getting a bit run down. Good room service and nice resturant on site. 10 mins to Patong but otherwise quite isolated on hill with nothing accessible by foot. Lovely view of hills.

Old property needs updating too expensive, staff is stressed out…

TLDR: DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is one of the most disorganized accommodations I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment I checked in, the room was a mess, and the other guest trying to check in was facing the same issue. They informed us that the property was overbooked and would shuttle us to a sister property. However, I insisted on staying in the suite I had booked, as I had paid for it. Surprisingly, the staff member offered to upgrade me to a free room for one night. I accepted and spent the night in the upgraded room, which was pleasant but lacked basic amenities like a working shower and stains throughout the unit, indicating poor maintenance. The next day, it was time to change rooms. All three employees at the desk were engrossed in customer service issues related to my check-in experience. I stood there for about 30-45 minutes before one of them finally managed to assist me. Fortunately, they had our room ready as promised and moved our luggage. While waiting I overheard the same conversations happening about "we have no rooms, but I can put you in an upgraded one and if you want to continue to stay there you have to pay extra per night in addition to what you've already paid." In my opinion, I think it's a scam that they're trying to pull in order to get guests to pay more for upgrades. Due to character limit my full review won’t fit. See google reviews for full details.

청소부가 어린이 자전거를 방에 놓고 갔습니다 놀라서 후론트에 여러차례 전화했는데 미안하다는 말도 없이 픽업해 갔고 다음날 아침 청소부가 두아이들 데리고 와 미안하다고 하여 용돈을 줬습니다. 한번은 변기 손잡이가 고장나서 전화했으나 한참후에 와서 고쳤습니다. 호텔식당도 엉망이고 근처에 아무것도 없어서 매일 택시로 푸통 정실론에 가서 있다 왔지요.

Our stay started off a little rocky with the 2 rooms we requested not being available. Were looking for privacy hence the two separate rooms for 3 travelers. They said it would be ready the next day. It wasn't. We had packed all our belongings just to have to unpack again. Twice we did this. Finally they gor us our rooms. One room was ok. Second room wasnt stocked properly but not the end of the world. Plunge pool was less than desirable and clearly hadnt been cleaned. Didnt even bother to mention to staff at that point. For the price we paid not the greatest value. The plus side.......Great location close to town if you grab a taxi or a Grab. Grounds are nice along with the common pools. Food / Coffee /Beer overpriced but most hotels are as well.

We travelled so many hours by flight to reach the hotel. We were exhausted. At the lobby they were canvassing us to take a tour with Wyndham club. She inconsiderate of them to push on that not realizing that we have travelled a long way. Very bad service at the check in lobby

Good service friendly staff

It took almost an hour to complete check-in and get the keys. We had booked 2 rooms and 1 was not even cleaned when we arrived. The phones didn't work, so we could not contact the front desk. The service was too slow. It took 30+ minutes to deliver any food to the room. They also hung up the phone while we were talking and kept transferring our call.

I always choose to stay at this hotel when ever I go to Phuket staff very friendly and always helpful . Hotel is always very clean and comfortable highly recommend to any one looking for a nice place to stay .

My experience and management didn't even reply to me: I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent stay at Wyndham Sea Pearl. My experience was far below expectations and caused significant stress and discomfort during what was supposed to be a celebratory trip for my 40th birthday. We arrived at the hotel around 1:30 AM after over 23 hours of travel, exhausted and eager to rest. Unfortunately, the welcome we received was far from hospitable. The staff at the front desk were arguing among themselves and did not greet us upon arrival. When I requested our room information, the staff member who assisted us provided minimal details and seemed dismissive. When we entered our assigned room, we discovered that it was in poor condition and found mouse droppings on the tray with the toothbrushes and shampoo. Feeling extremely uncomfortable, my husband inspected the room further, but we reluctantly decided to sleep and address the issue in the morning. The following day, I requested a room change. Initially, the staff claimed no rooms were available but promised to relocate us later in the day. After packing our items and preparing to leave for lunch, I visited the front desk to confirm the arrangement, only to find that no one seemed aware of the request. After reminding a staff member of the situation, we were finally assured of a new room. Upon returning to the hotel, the new room presented a different issue: roaches. This was the final straw for us.

No sidewalks to go in center

On a scale of 1-10, this place was fine. No frills, definetly could use a deep scrub down. Moldy seats by the pool. Our hot tub didn’t get hot, but that was fine because it’s hot outside and we didn’t need it. Breakfast was bad and over priced but getting food delivered was easy. Only thing that really bothered me was the feeling of being trapped. When I booked, I was not aware that it is impossible to walk anywhere. Hotel is located off a busy/dangerous highway so walking anywhere was off the table (I did it once and it was scary) cabs were very very difficult to get and when you did get one they would over charge you because what other option do you have? If you’re going to stay here, rent a scooter and don’t have any expectations or standards.

At the top of a hill on a very busy road and no free way to go anywhere not even walk resort grounds are in a horrible condition no privacy in the room either also always trying to sell you the timeshares not a nice hotel avoid

The team and room were lovely. Overall the resort needs a bit of maintenance to the common areas and the spas don’t have any heat functions so are really cold making them unusable for most of our stay. I think the price is fair reflecting the condition and we still had a pleasant stay. Even though it’s located on the outskirts of Patong, we had no issues with transport.

when I checked in, I was shocked at the cleanliness of the bedroom and the jacuzzi. There were dust and had an odd smell that was quite unbearable. I contacted the receptionist and they sent the cleaning crew 2 hours later. The water in the jacuzzi was disgusting and I didn't dare use it. On Expedia website, it showed that the 2 bedroom King sized beds, however it wasnt the case. We had 1 King Size and 2 double beds in the other room. When we queried the hotel staff, we were told that Expedia had misrepresented the details and all their 2 bedroom suites does not have 2 king sized beds. The laundry service was also an issue as I had to get them to iron the clothes as to was crumbled upon delivery.The breakfast was the worst I have ever had as the variety was limited and I am glad I had other options for breakfast outside the resort. During one of the nights, there wasnt any water supply for 4 hours and I had to use the public shower room to get changed as I had dinner reservations and was getting late.

You can tell the hotel was nice years ago. It is run down and not maintained. The staff are nice but as a guest it is obvious they are not treated well. The area where the cleaning staff work is filthy and not sanitary. The hotel nickel and dimes you for everything and the over priced breakfast is disgusting. We will never stay here again.

청소부가 어린이 자전거를 방에 놓고 갔습니다 놀라서 후론트에 여러차례 전화했는데 미안하다는 말도 없이 픽업해 갔고 다음날 아침 청소부가 두아이들 데리고 와 미안하다고 하여 용돈을 줬습니다. 한번은 변기 손잡이가 고장나서 전화했으나 한참후에 와서 고쳤습니다. 호텔식당도 엉망이고 근처에 아무것도 없어서 매일 택시로 푸통 정실론에 가서 있다 왔지요.

Great location, slightly secluded, which is nice. Beautiful grounds. Room was nice, even if a little dated. Linen old, well used and had stains from somewhere. Internal phone network poor to say the least, mostly static. TV network available wasn't as stated. Plenty of ambient noise and light makes its way into the room during the night and the spa was in desperate need of a good clean. Hotel staff very helpful, cleaning staff lovely and accomodating. Restaurant staff Incompetent, rude, always on their phones. Good luck with ordering room service. Could be a 90 min wait or nothing arrives at all. Impact from recent years is evident, hotel information, events and facilities available can be misleading.

Wenn man das Zimmer wechseln will muss man 300Baht bezahlen obwohl es vorher für umsonst angeboten wurde. Will man später auschecken muss man noch mal 1 Tag bezahlen. Frühstück muss man auch extra bezahlen. Also so günstig ist es dann doch nicht am Ende.

Unfortunately there is no shuttle to the beach. We were aware the Patong beach was a good distance from the resort, but there are no sidewalks to get there. Just a steady stream of scooters and mass traffic. Simply put, attempting to walk there is taking your life in your hands. Expect to budget $40-$50 Cdn for transportation to and from hotel to beach area per day. The WiFi is akin to dial up modems of 20 years ago. Couldn’t stream Prime music, let alone videos. It constantly had to be reconnected. Extremely frustrating to say the least. Want entertainment? Good luck. You get BBC and one English Channel on the TV. The reception is slightly better than “rabbit ears antennas” from the 60’s. The picture was completely snowy and migraine inducing. Want fresh brewed coffee? Wishful thinking. Instant freeze dried is on the menu. Like to dry your hands at the kitchen sink? Sorry, there is an apparent shortage of dish clothes and paper towel at the “resort”. Care to wash your face in the bathroom? Bring your own face clothes.You seriously get two bath towels. That’s it. No hand or face towels. Care to walk in bare feet? Better have leather skin.The decking has to be original and nails were popping up in places and the planks are warping. Want a glass of wine on the bar deck? 400baht plus tax and service charge buys you an under poured mediocre red in a dirty glass. Simply put, think twice. Staff was great.Tried to make us happy. The food in the restaurant was horrible , the attention in the restaurant was good but the food is terrible, the hotel not The hotel administration does not comply with what they promote on their website.

Our room was very comfortable and large. Spa was not usable due needing repair. A lovely resort but getting a bit run down. Good room service and nice resturant on site. 10 mins to Patong but otherwise quite isolated on hill with nothing accessible by foot. Lovely view of hills.
