Paragon Inn Hillsboro

The property driveway was in very poor shape. The bathroom had very old facilities, but everything was clean and the cleaning staff was very good.

Was not sure that we picked a good place to stay in Hillsboro. Looked old from the outside. Room was updated and very nice. very clean also. would stay here again !

Just traveling through on our way back from southern Ohio and wanted to make the trip shorter to Columbus. Lovely room, very clean and comfortable. Nice sized parking lot and reasonable cost. Enjoyed watching some football on TV with a pizza from a local establishment. Would definitely stay here again.

We were able to park in front of our unit which was clean and neat with microwave and refrigerator.

It was close to town and it was easy to get to. It was nice to be able to pull right up to the door. The twin beds were very uncomfortable, and you could not move at all without the bed, making a very loud noise against the wall. While trying to use the sink, the water sprayed all over me. There is paint peeling from the door in the bathroom. I felt like I was in the movie “Elf” while trying to take a shower because I had to crouch down to get my face wet. At least the shower water pressure was good. The room felt humid pretty much all night even with the air conditioner on. It felt very much like camping.

I was pleasantly surprised at how modernized the interior was. The location and outside doesn't suggest what you actually get in the room. When pulling up I anticipated things may not work properly, out of date appliances etc, but total opposite inside the room. Great lil secret I really don't want to share so it can be available my next trip. However I hope this business has more success.

Clean and a very convenient location.

Everything was dirty. The sheets and pillowcases were all stained yellow. My socks were black from walking on the dirty floor. There was dust and debris all over the beds. The beds sit on metal frames that are very noisy. You could hear your neighbors like they were in the room with you. The door didn't have any lock but the electric room key lock and there was no do not disturb sign and the cleaning person repeatedly kept coming in our room while we were there.The whole room smelled like sulfur. The front desk staff wasn't there even after we rang the bell for service multiple times.

Bedbugs and nasty conditions. The room had dried snot in /on the sink.an inch of dust on most surfaces. No toilet paper unless you begged for it .no smoking but the drug smoke from adjacent rooms chocked you all night.the worst was bedbugs got bitten all over and got out of there .

The people who checked us in were very friendly and helpful and the room was spotless will stay there agy

Not impressed at all. There were to many bugs (gnats and flies). Dirty floors.

The room was Dirty and had stains all over the wall and THE ROOM HAD BEDBUGS!!! We left within 2 hours

Started off with a somewhat rude check in. A sign here and gave card to get in room not very pleasant. The room had at least 15 flies and smelled like a smoking room although clearly marked as not. So much moisture in room there was a damp rid bladder hanging under the sink. Our clothes felt damp after the first evening we packed stuff up and left in car during our day trip. The comforter had food stuck to it and the towels were gross. First time ever I had to go to Walmart and buy pillows and a blanket to sleep on. The toilet seat was not on right bout fell off. Worst stay ever.

Room was exactly as pictured. Clean, no odors, and very pleased! Thank you so much!

The place is rather run down and our non-smoking room smelt of smoke nonetheless. Probably because the door didn’t fully close so smoke from the porch could come in through the crack under the door. The state of the door did not make it feel safe.

I returned home with bites from bedbugs. My arms are covered and it is a huge hassle.

We had a good stay, overall. All we did was just sleep there basically, so it was worth the money. Just wish the beds wouldn’t have been so noisy and the Wi-Fi did not work in our room. Our lamps also did not have the outlets in them like they did when we’ve stayed in the past. Other than that, we plan to stay again next year for the Hillsboro Family Camp.

Not the best place to stay. No coffee in your room, the bathroom door couldn’t close all the way, and there was minimal hot water. I took a shower on full blast hot water and it never got beyond luke warm. No hand soap by the hand sink. On the positive side it had very soft towels.

Everything thing was fine with the room except the bed, I like a firm bed but it was as hard as the floor. Worst nights sleep I have had in awhile. Older place, dated rooms but very clean, felt safe, decent hot water and no funny smell. Would definitely return if they get new beds. The guy working the front desk was very nice. Location is good and there were several good restaurants nearby.

There aren't a whole lot of choices in hillsboro. This is a decent one. Our room smelled a little musty but it was clean. The Wi-Fi didn't work though.

I was hesitant booking but the room was better than expected. Room was spacious, had a refrigerator, quiet, acess to outside from door. Bed was just alittle harder than I would have liked but was good enough for an overnight stay. Took some time for water to get hot for a shower but great pressure.

No clerk most of the time. Had to wait for ever for hot water to get to your ssink or bathtub. Soap samples so small and thin they were about impossible to use.

Had to ask for towels a few times

Not only was the area sketchy, but the old guy in charge was extremely rude. My 74 year old father asked for an extra towel and the man complained about how we didn’t need an extra towel. Two spiders were crawling under my sheets also. If i could rate this place zero stars i would.

The room itself but nice, but the bed was soooo uncomfortable and the office was barely there and didn’t help much.

Again had to ask for towels

Great location stayed here a few times and will be more in the future

The location was about perfect for all areas and attractions around Hillsboro. Renovations are going on and seem well done. The only complaint was the natresses were a bit too firm

I pulled into this property an first thing I noticed is there 50-75 men out partying drinking blaring music in the parking lot an along the steps an walkway I go straight to the office an the door was locked there was a sign that said call this number an I did 20 mins later someone finally rudely answered like I was interrupting him I get checked in I was told I would be in room 118 I open there door the room is FILTHY beds not made it hadn't been touched so I call the office an he puts me in the room next door I get settled an I lay on the bed it wasn't ten minutes an I'm feeling something bite me an then I seen a bed bug run across the bed spread I lift up the spread to the mattress cover an there's a whole nest of them I immediately get my stuff an go straight to the car I try to call the office repeatedly with no answer this place is unsanitary an as a single woman it felt very unsafe I'm expecting a full refund as I was only there for one hour maybe less than that

Good and cheap place to stay. Seemed safe and easy to get where we were going. Smoking and nonsmoking rooms but even the nonsmoking rooms smell like smoke

Soap dispensers in the shower and at the sink were very convenient and cut down on waste. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Owner gave us recommendations for dining. I will stay here again and recommend it to all my friends.

Ok but could use some updates carpet is worn out holes in it no coffee maker in the room like was advertised
